الْحَآقَّةُ The Inevitable Reality!

كَذَبَ عاد قَرَعَ

Samoud and Aad denied the Striking of the Hour of Last Judgment.

As for Samoud, they were destroyed by the flood.

And as for Aad, they were destroyed with persistent, violent wind.

NA كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ trunks
تنے ہیں

عَجَزَ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ (of) date-palms
کھجوروں کے
nakhlin

نَخَلَ نَخْلٍ خَاوِيَةٍ hollow
گرے پڑے

خ و ي
خَوَى Empty , Hunger , Vacant خَاوِيَةٍ ٧

سَخَرَ سَبْع لَيْل ثَمَنَ يوْم حَسَمَ رَأَى قَامَ NF عَجَزَ نَخَلَ خَوَى

He subjugated them for seven nights and eight days, decisively terminated them; you could see the nation there, thrown to the ground, like they were empty trunks of the palm trees.

69:8

فَهَلْ Then do?
تو کیا ؟

NA فَهَلْ تَرَى you see
تو دیکھ پاتا ہے

رَأَى تَرَى لَهُم of them
لیے ان کے

NA لَهُم مِّنْ any
میں سے

NA مِّنْ بَاقِيَةٍ remains
کوئی بقیہ جات

بَقِىَ Remain , Lasting بَاقِيَةٍ ٨

رَأَى بَقِىَ

Do you see (anything) remaining?

وَجَآءَ And came

جَاءَ Come , Reach , Arrive وَجَآءَ فِرْعَوْنُ Firaun

اور وہ جو(تھے)

NA وَمَن قَبْلَهُۥ before him
اس کےپہلے

قَبِلَ قَبْلَهُۥ وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَاتُ and the overturned cities

أَفَكَ Liar , Falsehood وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَاتُ بِالْخَاطِئَةِ with sin

خَطِيءَ Mistake , Error , fault بِالْخَاطِئَةِ ٩

جَاءَ قَبِلَ أَفَكَ خَطِيءَ

And Firoun came, and those predecessors and their cities were overturned due to their sins.

فَعَصَوْا And they disobeyed

أَخَذَ أَخْذَةً رَّابِيَةً exceeding
بڑی سخت

رَبَا رَّابِيَةً ١٠

عَصَى رَسِلَ رَبَّ أَخَذَ أَخَذَ رَبَا

But they disobeyed the messenger of their Rabb, so they were held in an exceeding (stronger) hold.

إِنَّا Indeed We

بیچ ۔ میں

فِي فِى الْجَارِيَةِ the sailing (ship)
کشتی کے

جَأَرَ Pray Fervently, Moo, Bellow of cattle الْجَارِيَةِ ١١

طَغَا مَا ءَ حَمَلَ فِي جَأَرَ

"When the water (level) exceeded (its limit), we carried you on the ship."

لِنَجْعَلَهَا That We might make it
تاکہ ہم بنا دیں اسے

جعل Make , Create, Bring, Give, Grant, لِنَجْعَلَهَا لَكُمْ for you
تمہارے لیے

NA لَكُمْ تَذْكِرَةً a reminder
ایک نصیحت

ذَكّرَ تَذْكِرَةً وَتَعِيَهَآ and would be conscious of it
یاد رکھیں اسے

وعى وَتَعِيَهَآ أُذُنٌ an ear
کان

أَذن أُذُنٌ وَاعِيَةٌ conscious
یاد رکھنے والے

وعى وَاعِيَةٌ ١٢

جعل ذَكّرَ وعى أَذن وعى

Indeed, We made this a vital reminder to encourage listeners to pay attention.

فَإِذَا Then when

پھونک دیا جائے گا

فِي فِى الصُّورِ the trumpet

صور الصُّورِ نَفْخَةٌ a blast

نَفَخَ نَفْخَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ single
ایک بار
wahidatun
و ح د
أحد One, Unity, Oneness, وَاحِدَةٌ ١٣

نَفَخَ فِي صور نَفَخَ أحد

Then, when the Horn is blown, a single blow. (It can be a single planet, asteroid, or comet hitting the earth that will destroy the planet, among other cosmic events that will signal the end of the world).

وَحُمِلَتِ And are lifted
اوراٹھالیا جائے گا

أَ رَضْ Land, Area, Region , Earth , Country الْأَرْضُ وَالْجِبَالُ and the mountains

جبل وَالْجِبَالُ فَدُكَّتَا and crushed

دَكَّ فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةً (with) a crushing
ریزہ ریزہ کر دیا جانا

دَكَّ دَكَّةً وَاحِدَةً single
یکبارگی

أحد One, Unity, Oneness, وَاحِدَةً ١٤

حَمَلَ أَ رَضْ جبل دَكَّ دَكَّ أحد

And whatever is carried on the earth and the mountains, will be crushed with a single blow.

69:15

فَيَوْمَئِذٍ Then (on) that Day
تو اس روز

NA فَيَوْمَئِذٍ وَقَعَتِ will occur
واقع ہوجائے گی

وقع وَقَعَتِ الْوَاقِعَةُ the Occurrence
واقع ہونے والی(قیامت)

و ق ع
وقع الْوَاقِعَةُ ١٥

وقع وقع

On that Day, the occurrence will happen.

وَانشَقَّتِ And will split

شَقَّ Split , Tear , Break , Hardship وَانشَقَّتِ السَّمَآءُ the heaven

NA فَهِىَ يَوْمَئِذٍ (is on) that Day

NA يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاهِيَةٌ frail
کمزور وناتواں ہو گا
wahiyatun
و ه ي
وَهَى Weak , Frail , Thin , Flimsy وَاهِيَةٌ ١٦

شَقَّ سَمِي وَهَى

And the sky will break down, so it will become weak (flimsy).

69:17

وَالْمَلَكُ And the Angels
اور فرشتے

ملك وَالْمَلَكُ عَلَىٰٓ (will be) on

NA عَلَىٰٓ أَرْجَائِهَا its edges
اس کےکناروں

رَجَعَ Come Back , Return , Resume أَرْجَائِهَا وَيَحْمِلُ and will bear
اور وہ اٹھائے ہوں گے

حَمَلَ carry , Loaded , Bear وَيَحْمِلُ عَرْشَ (the) Throne

عَرَشَ Erect , Throne , Shaft عَرْشَ رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord

رَبَّ رَبِّكَ فَوْقَهُمْ above them

فَاقَ فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ that Day

NA يَوْمَئِذٍ ثَمَانِيَةٌ eight
آٹھ(فرشتے)

ثَمَنَ Eighth , Eight, Eighteen ثَمَانِيَةٌ ١٧

ملك رَجَعَ حَمَلَ عَرَشَ رَبَّ فَاقَ ثَمَنَ

And the angels will surround, and on that day, there will be eight carrying the Throne of Your Rabb over them.

يَوْمَئِذٍ That Day

NA يَوْمَئِذٍ تُعْرَضُونَ you will be exhibited
تم پیش کیے جاؤ گے

NA لَا تَخْفَى will be hidden
چھپارہے گا

تمہارے(رازوں)میں سے

NA مِنكُمْ خَافِيَةٌ any secret
کوئی بھی راز

خَفَيَ Hidden , Secret , Missing خَافِيَةٌ ١٨

عَرُضَ خَفَيَ خَفَيَ

You will be presented (with all your deeds) on the Day of Judgement, and nothing will be hidden from you in secret.

أتى كَتَبَ يَمَنَ قَالَ قَرَأَ كَتَبَ

He who is given his book in his right hand will say, "Here is my book, read it!"

NA أَنِّى مُلَاقٍ (will) meet

حَسَبَ Calculate , Count , Opinion حِسَابِيَهْ ٢٠

ظَنَّ لقِي حَسَبَ

Indeed, I believed that I would meet my account.”

فِي عَاشَ رَضِيَ

So, he will be in a prosperous, satisfying life.

In gardens of loftiness.

قُطُوفُهَا Its clusters of fruits

قَطَفَ قُطُوفُهَا دَانِيَةٌ hanging near

"Picking up fruits from nearby location."

خَلَا Vacant , Free , Surrender الْخَالِيَةِ ٢٤

أكل شَرِبَ هَنَأَ سَلَفَ فِي يوْم خَلَا

“Eat and drink in happiness (now) because of what you have preceded in the past days.”

وَأَمَّا But as for

NA لَمْ أُوتَ I had been given

أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, أُوتَ كِتَابِيَهْ my record

أتى كَتَبَ شِمَال قَالَ أتى كَتَبَ

But as for him who is given his book in his left hand, he will say, “O I wish I were never given my book.

وَلَمْ And not

NA وَلَمْ أَدْرِ I had known

دَرَى حَسَبَ

And I did not know (understand) what my account was.

يَالَيْتَهَا O! I wish it

فیصلہ کن(موت)

I wish that were the final decision (my death should have been the end).

(Now), There is no use for me of my wealth.

غلبہ واقتدار میرا

هَلَكَ سُلَط

My authority (to make decisions) has destroyed me.”

اور طوق پہنا دو تم اسے

“Take hold of him and put the iron collar on him.

NA ثُمَّ الْجَحِيمَ (into) the Hellfire
جہنم کی دھکتی آگ میں
aljaheema

جحم hellish , Kindle, Hellfire, Fire الْجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُ burn him
جھونک دو تم اسے
salloohu
ص ل ي
صلو صَلُّوهُ ٣١

جحم صلو

Then burn him in the hellfire.

69:32

NA ثُمَّ فِى into

فِي فِى سِلْسِلَةٍ a chain
زنجیرکے
silsilatin

سَلْسَلَ Link Together , Connect , Chain سِلْسِلَةٍ ذَرْعُهَا its length
لمبائی اس کی
tharAAuha
ذ ر ع
ذَرَعَ Measure , Beyond one power ذَرْعُهَا سَبْعُونَ (is) seventy
ستر
sabAAoona
س ب ع
سَبْع Predatory , Seven سَبْعُونَ ذِرَاعًا cubits
ہاتھ
thiraAAan
ذ ر ع
ذَرَعَ Measure , Beyond one power ذِرَاعًا فَاسْلُكُوهُ insert him
پس اسے جکڑ دو تم
faoslukoohu
س ل ك
سَلَكَ فَاسْلُكُوهُ ٣٢

فِي سَلْسَلَ ذَرَعَ سَبْع ذَرَعَ سَلَكَ

Then chain him in the measure of seventy measures, then follow him (drag him)".

69:33

إِنَّهُۥ Indeed he
البتہ وہ
Innahu

NA إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ was
ہوا۔تھا

كَانَ كَانَ لَا not
نہیں

NA لَا يُؤْمِنُ believing
ایمان لانے والا
yuminu
أ م ن
أمُن يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللّٰهِ in Allah
اللہ کے ساتھ
biAllahi
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity بِٱللّٰهِ الْعَظِيمِ the Most Great
عظمت والے
alAAatheemi
ع ظ م
عَظُمَ الْعَظِيمِ ٣٣

كَانَ أمُن إِلَٰه عَظُمَ

For he did not believe in Allah the Great.

69:34

وَلَا And (did) not
اور نہ ہی
Wala

NA وَلَا يَحُضُّ feel the urge
ترغیب دیتا تھا
yahuddu

حَضَّ Incite , Instigate يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ on
اوپر
AAala

NA عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ (the) feeding
کھانا کھلانے
taAAami
ط ع م
طَعِمَ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ (of) the poor
مسکین کو
almiskeeni
س ك ن
سَكَنَ الْمِسْكِينِ ٣٤

حَضَّ طَعِمَ سَكَنَ

Nor he instigated (proposed) on feeding the poor.

69:35

فَلَيْسَ So not
پس نہیں ہے
Falaysa
ل ي س
لَيْسَ Nothing , But , Only , Merely فَلَيْسَ لَهُ for him
لیے اس کے

NA لَهُ الْيَوْمَ today
آج کے دن
alyawma
ي و م
يوْم الْيَوْمَ هَاهُنَا here
اے۔او یہاں
hahuna

NA هَاهُنَا حَمِيمٌ any devoted friend
کوئی غم خوار دوست
hameemun
ح م م
حَمَّ Hot , Close Friend , Bath حَمِيمٌ ٣٥

لَيْسَ يوْم حَمَّ

So, nobody is here for him today as his protector.

69:36

وَلَا And not
اور نہ ہی
Wala

NA وَلَا طَعَامٌ any food
کوئی کھانا
taAAamun

طَعِمَ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا except
سوائے
illa

NA إِلَّا مِنْ from
میں سے
min

NA مِنْ غِسْلِينٍ (the) discharge of wounds
زخموں کی دھوون
ghisleenin
غ س ل
غَسَلَ غِسْلِينٍ ٣٦

طَعِمَ غَسَلَ

And no food except the discharge from the wounds.

لَّا Not

NA لَّا يَأْكُلُهُۥٓ will eat it
کوئی کھا ئےگااسے

أكل Eat , Food, Consume, Destroy, يَأْكُلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا except
سوائے
illa

NA إِلَّا الْخَاطِئُونَ the sinners
خطاکار وں کے
alkhatioona
خ ط أ
خَطِيءَ Mistake , Error , fault الْخَاطِئُونَ ٣٧

أكل خَطِيءَ

Only sinners eat it.

فَلَآ But nay!
پس نہیں(بلکہ)

NA فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ I swear
میں قسم کھاتا ہوں

قَسَمَ أُقْسِمُ بِمَا by what
ساتھ اس کےجو
bima

NA بِمَا تُبْصِرُونَ you see
نظر آتی ہیں تم کو
tubsiroona
ب ص ر
بصُر See , Eyes, Eyesight, Understand تُبْصِرُونَ ٣٨

قَسَمَ بصُر

I take an oath with what you see.

وَمَا And what

Wama

NA وَمَا لَا not
نہیں

NA لَا تُبْصِرُونَ you see
نظر آتی ہیں تم کو

بصُر See , Eyes, Eyesight, Understand تُبْصِرُونَ ٣٩

بصُر

And with what you do not see.

إِنَّهُۥ Indeed it (is)
یقینی طور پر یہ(قرآن)
Innahu

NA إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ surely (the) Word

قَالَ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ (of) a Messenger
رسول (فرشتے )کا
rasoolin

رَسِلَ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ noble
(جو)معزز ومکرم ہے

كَرُمَ كَرِيمٍ ٤٠

قَالَ رَسِلَ كَرُمَ

Indeed, these are the words (transmitted) by a noble messenger.

کسی شاعرکا

شعر شَاعِرٍ قَلِيلًا little
بہت ہی کم

قَلَّ قَلِيلًا مَّا (is) what
(ہو)جو
ma

NA مَّا تُؤْمِنُونَ you believe!
ایمان لاتے ہوتم
tuminoona
أ م ن
أمُن تُؤْمِنُونَ ٤١

قَالَ شعر قَلَّ أمُن

And these are not words of a poet; little do you believe.

69:42

وَلَا And not

NA وَلَا بِقَوْلِ (it is the) word
ہرگز (یہ)کلام

قَالَ بِقَوْلِ كَاهِنٍ (of) a soothsayer
کسی کاہن کا
kahinin

كَهَنَ Predict the Future , Prophecy كَاهِنٍ قَلِيلًا little
بہت ہی کم
qaleelan

قَلَّ قَلِيلًا مَّا (is) what
(ہو)جو
ma

NA مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ you take heed

tathakkaroona
ذ ك ر
ذَكّرَ تَذَكَّرُونَ ٤٢

قَالَ كَهَنَ قَلَّ ذَكّرَ

Nor words of a fortune teller, little do you mention.

تَنزِيلٌ (It is) a revelation
نازل کردہ ہے

نَزَلَ تَنزِيلٌ مِّن from
طرف سے

NA مِّن رَّبِّ (the) Lord
رب
rabbi
ر ب ب
رَبَّ رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (of) the worlds
تمام جہانوں کے
alAAalameena
ع ل م
علِم الْعَالَمِينَ ٤٣

نَزَلَ رَبَّ علِم

Revelation sent from the Rabb of the universe.

69:44

وَلَوْ And if
اور اگرچہ

NA وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ he (had) fabricated

قَالَ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا against Us

NA عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ some
بعض
baAAda
ب ع ض
بَعَضَ Some , Each Other, Mosquito بَعْضَ الْأَقَاوِيلِ sayings
باتیں
alaqaweeli
ق و ل
قَالَ الْأَقَاوِيلِ ٤٤

قَالَ بَعَضَ قَالَ

If he had spoken (falsely) against Us, some of the words.

لَأَخَذْنَا Certainly We (would) have seized
یقیناً ہم جکڑ لیتے
Laakhathna
أ خ ذ
أَخَذَ لَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ him
اس کو
minhu

NA مِنْهُ بِالْيَمِينِ by the right hand
دائیں ہاتھ کے ساتھ
bialyameeni
ي م ن
يَمَنَ بِالْيَمِينِ ٤٥

أَخَذَ يَمَنَ

Surely, We would have taken hold of him from the right hand.

ثُمَّ Then

NA ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا certainly We (would) have cut off
یقیناًہم کاٹ دیتے

قَطَعَ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ from him
اس کی
minhu

NA مِنْهُ الْوَتِينَ the aorta
شہہ رگ کو
alwateena
و ت ن
وَتِين Aorta الْوَتِينَ ٤٦

قَطَعَ وَتِين

Then We would have cut his aorta.

فَمَا And not
پھر نہ ہوتا
Fama

NA فَمَا مِنكُم from you
تم میں سے
minkum

NA مِنكُم مِّنْ any
کوئی
min

NA مِّنْ أَحَدٍ one
ایک بھی
ahadin
أ ح د
أحد One, Unity, Oneness, أَحَدٍ عَنْهُ [from him]
(ہمیں)اس سے
AAanhu

NA عَنْهُ حَاجِزِينَ (who could) prevent (it)
روکنے والا
hajizeena
ح ج ز
حجز Prevent , Hold Back , حَاجِزِينَ ٤٧

أحد حجز

And no one from you could prevent it for him.

69:48

وَإِنَّهُۥ And indeed it
اور بلا شبہ یہ(قرآن)
Wainnahu

NA وَإِنَّهُۥ لَتَذْكِرَةٌ (is) surely a reminder
البتہ نصیحت ہے
latathkiratun
ذ ك ر
ذَكّرَ لَتَذْكِرَةٌ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ for the Allah-fearing

lilmuttaqeena
و ق ي
وقى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ ٤٨

ذَكّرَ وقى

This is a reminder for devoted (God-fearing).

69:49

وَإِنَّا And indeed We
اور یقینی طور پر ہم
Wainna

NA وَإِنَّا لَنَعْلَمُ surely We know
بلاشبہ ہم جانتے ہیں
lanaAAlamu
ع ل م
علِم لَنَعْلَمُ أَنَّ that
کہ
anna

NA أَنَّ مِنكُم among you
تم میں سے
minkum

NA مِنكُم مُّكَذِّبِينَ (are) deniers
جھٹلانے والے(بھی ہیں)
mukaththibeena
ك ذ ب
كَذَبَ مُّكَذِّبِينَ ٤٩

علِم كَذَبَ

And indeed, We know that some of you will be rejectors (reject it).

69:50

وَإِنَّهُۥ And indeed it
اور بیشک یہ
Wainnahu

NA وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَسْرَةٌ (is) surely a regret
البتہ حسرت ہوگا
lahasratun

حَسَرَ Grieved , Distressed , Regret لَحَسْرَةٌ عَلَى upon
اوپر
AAala

NA عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ the disbelievers
کافروں وناشکروں کے
alkafireena
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ الْكَافِرِينَ ٥٠

حَسَرَ كَفَرَ

And indeed, this will surely be the grievance for the nonbelievers.

وَإِنَّهُۥ And indeed it (is)
اور بلا شبہ یہ
Wainnahu

NA وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَقُّ surely (the) truth
بالکل حق سچ ہے

حَقَّ True , Real , Right , Correct لَحَقُّ الْيَقِينِ (of) certainty
یقین کی حد تک
alyaqeeni
ي ق ن
يَقِنَ الْيَقِينِ ٥١

حَقَّ يَقِنَ

And indeed, yet this is the truth to be certain.

فَسَبِّحْ So glorify
پس تسبیح بیان کر

سبح فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ (the) name

بَسَمَ Smile بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord
تیرےرب

رَبَّ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ the Most Great
عظمت والے کے

عَظُمَ الْعَظِيمِ ٥٢

سبح بَسَمَ رَبَّ عَظُمَ

So, praise the name of your Rabb, the Greatest.
