اقْتَرَبَتِ Has come near
نزدیک آگئی

قرُب اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ the Hour
قیامت کی گھڑی

سَاعته Short Time , Hour , Watch , Clock السَّاعَةُ وَانشَقَّ and has split
شق ہوا ۔ پھٹ گیا

شَقَّ Split , Tear , Break , Hardship وَانشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ the moon
چاند

قَمَرَ الْقَمَرُ ١

قرُب سَاعته شَقَّ قَمَرَ

The Hour (of Resurrection) is approaching (coming) close and the Moon is split.

وَإِن And if

Wain

NA وَإِن يَرَوْا they see
دیکھتےہیں وہ

ر أ ي
رَأَى يَرَوْا اٰيَةً a Sign
کوئی نشانی

أ ي ي
آ ىي -آية اٰيَةً يُعْرِضُوا they turn away
منْہ پھیر لیتے ہیں وہ

عَرُضَ يُعْرِضُوا وَيَقُولُوا and say
اور کہتے ہیں وہ کہ
wayaqooloo
ق و ل
قَالَ وَيَقُولُوا سِحْرٌ Magic
(یہ تو) جادو ہے

س ح ر
سَحَرَ Magic , Charm , Daybreak سِحْرٌ مُّسْتَمِرٌّ continuing
بڑا مضبوط۔دائمی
mustamirrun
م ر ر
مرّ مُّسْتَمِرٌّ ٢

رَأَى آ ىي -آية عَرُضَ قَالَ سَحَرَ مرّ

If they see a sign, they turn away and say (Oh, that's just some) continuous magic."(When presented with a sign, they quickly dismiss it as a mere illusion).

54:3

وَكَذَّبُوا And they denied

كَذَبَ وَكَذَّبُوا وَاتَّبَعُوٓا and followed
اورپیروی کی انہوں نے

تبِع وَاتَّبَعُوٓا أَهْوَآءَهُمْ their desires
ان کی خواہشات کی
ahwaahum
ه و ي
هوى أَهْوَآءَهُمْ وَكُلُّ but (for) every
اور(اللہ کے ہاں تو) ہر
wakullu
ك ل ل
كُلّ وَكُلُّ أَمْرٍ matter
معاملے کا
amrin
أ م ر
أمر أَمْرٍ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ (will be a) settlement
ایک مقررہ وقت ہے
mustaqirrun
ق ر ر
قَرَّ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ ٣

كَذَبَ تبِع هوى كُلّ أمر قَرَّ

They denied and followed their desires, but every matter has a set outcome.

54:4

وَلَقَدْ And certainly
اور البتہ حقیقت میں
Walaqad

NA وَلَقَدْ جَآءَهُم has come to them
آچکی ہیں ان کے پاس

جَاءَ Come , Reach , Arrive جَآءَهُم مِّنَ of
میں سے
mina

NA مِّنَ الْأَنبَآءِ the information
خبروں وباتوں
alanbai
ن ب أ
نبأ الْأَنبَآءِ مَا where
جوہے
ma

NA مَا فِيهِ in it
بیچ۔میں اس کے
feehi

فِي فِيهِ مُزْدَجَرٌ (is) deterrence

زَجَرَ مُزْدَجَرٌ ٤

جَاءَ نبأ فِي زَجَرَ

And indeed, information came to them to restrain (to restrain and hold themselves back, and not to oppose the Messenger).

54:5

حِكْمَةٌ Wisdom
دانائی وحکمت ہے
Hikmatun
ح ك م
حَكَمَ Judge , Decision , Wisdom حِكْمَةٌ بَالِغَةٌ perfect
مکمل ۔ کامل
balighatun
ب ل غ
بلغ بَالِغَةٌ فَمَا but not
پس (ہٹ دھرموں کو)نہیں
fama

NA فَمَا تُغْنِ will avail
کام آتیں ۔فائدہ دیتیں
tughnee
غ ن ي
غنِي تُغْنِ النُّذُرُ the warnings
ڈرانے والی (باتیں)
alnnuthuru
ن ذ ر
نَذَرَ النُّذُرُ ٥

حَكَمَ بلغ غنِي نَذَرَ

When the decision arrives (judgment announced), there is no use for the warnings. (Here is a sign, but they do not notice).

فَتَوَلَّ So turn away
پس منْہ موڑ لیناتو
Fatawalla
و ل ي
وَلِيَ فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ from them
ان سے

NA عَنْهُمْ يَوْمَ (The) Day
جس دن
yawma
ي و م
يوْم يَوْمَ يَدْعُ will call
پکارے گا

د ع و
دَعَا call , Prayer , Spread يَدْعُ الدَّاعِ the caller
پکارنے والا
alddaAAi
د ع و
دَعَا call , Prayer , Spread الدَّاعِ إِلَىٰ to

NA إِلَىٰ شَىْءٍ a thing
چیز
shayin
ش ي أ
شِاءَ شَىْءٍ نُّكُرٍ terrible
ناگوار کے
nukurin
ن ك ر
نَكِرَ نُّكُرٍ ٦

وَلِيَ يوْم دَعَا دَعَا شِاءَ نَكِرَ

Then turn away from them (because they are denying) a day (an appointed day) they will be called by the caller towards a thing (they) refused to acknowledge.

54:7

خُشَّعًا (Will be) humbled
جھکی ہوں گی

خَشَعَ Submissive , Humility خُشَّعًا أَبْصَارُهُمْ their eyes
ان کی نگاہیں

ب ص ر
بصُر See , Eyes, Eyesight, Understand أَبْصَارُهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ they will come forth
وہ نکلیں گے

خرج يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ from
میں سے

NA مِنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ the graves

جَدَث Tomb , grave الْأَجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ as if they (were)
گویاکہ وہ
kaannahum

NA كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ locusts
ٹڈی دَل ہے
jaradun
ج ر د
جَرَدَ Barren , Locust جَرَادٌ مُّنتَشِرٌ spreading
بکھرا ہوا ۔منتشر
muntashirun
ن ش ر
نشر مُّنتَشِرٌ ٧

خَشَعَ بصُر خرج جَدَث جَرَدَ نشر

Their eyes will be submissive, and they will come out from graves like locusts sprayed out. Notes: The human lifespan is very short compared to the next life, similar to the cicada (1) lifespan of many cicada species above ground is much shorter than their underground lives. some species might emerge as often as annually or as infrequently as every 17 years, but they expire approximately five to six weeks later. (2) A single swarm can contain between 40 and 80 million locusts per square kilometer.

54:8

مُّهْطِعِينَ Racing ahead

هَطَعَ Protrude the neck , Run Fast مُّهْطِعِينَ إِلَى towards

دَعَا call , Prayer , Spread الدَّاعِ يَقُولُ Will say
کہیں گے

قَالَ يَقُولُ الْكَافِرُونَ the disbelievers
کفار

كَفَرَ الْكَافِرُونَ هَٰذَا This
یہ
hatha

NA هَٰذَا يَوْمٌ (is) a Day
دن ہے
yawmun
ي و م
يوْم يَوْمٌ عَسِرٌ difficult
نہایت مشکل
AAasirun
ع س ر
عَسُرَ Difficult , Hard , Poverty عَسِرٌ ٨

هَطَعَ دَعَا قَالَ كَفَرَ يوْم عَسُرَ

Protruding their necks (paying full attention) to the caller, the ungrateful will be saying this is a hard (difficult) day.

54:9

كَذَّبَتْ Denied

كَذَبَ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ before them
ان سے پہلے

قَبِلَ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ (the) people
قوم ِ

قَامَ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ (of) Nuh
نوحؑ نے
noohin
ن و ح
نُوحٍ فَكَذَّبُوا and they denied
پس جھٹلادیا انہوں نے
fakaththaboo
ك ذ ب
كَذَبَ فَكَذَّبُوا عَبْدَنَا Our slave
ہمارے بندے کو
AAabdana
ع ب د
عَبَدَ عَبْدَنَا وَقَالُوا and said
اور کہاانہوں نے
waqaloo
ق و ل
قَالَ وَقَالُوا مَجْنُونٌ A madman
دیوانہ ہے
majnoonun
ج ن ن
جنّ مَجْنُونٌ وَازْدُجِرَ and he was repelled

زَجَرَ وَازْدُجِرَ ٩

كَذَبَ قَبِلَ قَامَ كَذَبَ عَبَدَ قَالَ جنّ زَجَرَ

The nation of Noah (also) denied before them. They denied Our worshipper (Noah), and they said, “He is possessed,” and they rebuked.

54:10

فَدَعَا So he called
پھر اس نے دعا کی

دَعَا call , Prayer , Spread فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ his Lord
اس کے رب سے
rabbahu

رَبَّ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّى I am
بیشک میں ہوں
annee

NA أَنِّى مَغْلُوبٌ one overpowered
مغلوب
maghloobun
غ ل ب
غَلَبَ مَغْلُوبٌ فَانتَصِرْ so help
پس مدد کردےتو
faintasir
ن ص ر
نشر فَانتَصِرْ ١٠

دَعَا رَبَّ غَلَبَ نشر

So, he (Noah) called (appealed) to his Rabb, "I am defeated (and helpless in this struggle), so help me."

54:11

فَفَتَحْنَآ So We opened
تو ہم نے کھول دئیے
Fafatahna

فتح فَفَتَحْنَآ أَبْوَابَ (the) gates
دروازے

بَا ب Door , Gate , Class أَبْوَابَ السَّمَآءِ (of) heaven
آسمان کے

س م و
سَمَا Sky , Heaven , High , Exalted السَّمَآءِ بِمَآءٍ with water
ساتھ پانی کے
bimain
م و ه
مَا ءَ Water , Liquid , Hydraulic بِمَآءٍ مُّنْهَمِرٍ pouring down
زوردار برسنے والے
munhamirin
ه م ر
همر Pour down , Shower of rain , مُّنْهَمِرٍ ١١

فتح بَا ب سَمَا مَا ءَ همر

So, We opened the doors of the sky with water pouring down.

54:12

وَفَجَّرْنَا And We caused to burst
اور ہم نے جاری کر دیئے

فجر وَفَجَّرْنَا الْأَرْضَ the earth
زمین سے

أَ رَضْ Land, Area, Region , Earth , Country الْأَرْضَ عُيُونًا (with) springs
چشمے

عين عُيُونًا فَالْتَقَى so met
پس مل گیا

ل ق ي
لقِي فَالْتَقَى الْمَآءُ the water(s)
(آسمان وزمین کا)پانی

مَا ءَ Water , Liquid , Hydraulic الْمَآءُ عَلَىٰٓ for

NA عَلَىٰٓ أَمْرٍ a matter
ایک معاملے (جو)

أمر أَمْرٍ قَدْ already
حقیقت میں

NA قَدْ قُدِرَ predestined
مقدر کیا گیا تھا

قدر قُدِرَ ١٢

فجر أَ رَضْ عين لقِي مَا ءَ أمر قدر

And We split the earth with springs, and the water received an already determined command.

54:13

وَحَمَلْنَاهُ And We carried him

(کشتی کے)بنی ہوئی

لَاحَ أَلْوَاحٍ وَدُسُرٍ and nails
اور میخوں سے

دسّ وَدُسُرٍ ١٣

حَمَلَ ذُو لَاحَ دسّ

And We carried him on (ship) of the planks and inserted (nails).

54:14

تَجْرِى Sailing
چلتی تھی
Tajree
ج ر ي
جَرَى تَجْرِى بِأَعْيُنِنَا before Our eyes
ہماری آنکھوں کےسامنے
biaAAyunina
ع ي ن
عين بِأَعْيُنِنَا جَزَآءً a reward
جزاو بدلہ ہے
jazaan
ج ز ي
جَزَى جَزَآءً لِّمَن for (he) who
لیے اس (نوحؑ کے)جس کا
liman

NA لِّمَن كَانَ was
تھا
kana
ك و ن
كَانَ كَانَ كُفِرَ denied
انکارکیاگیا
kufira
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ كُفِرَ ١٤

جَرَى عين جَزَى كَانَ كَفَرَ

Running before Our eyes; a reward for him (Noah) who was denied (by unbelievers).

54:15

وَلَقَد And certainly
اور البتہ حقیقت میں
Walaqad

NA وَلَقَد تَّرَكْنَاهَآ We left it
رکھ چھوڑا ہم نےاسے
taraknaha
ت ر ك
ترك تَّرَكْنَاهَآ اٰيَةً (as) a Sign
(بطور)نشانی و عبرت
ayatan
أ ي ي
آ ىي -آية اٰيَةً فَهَلْ so is (there)?
تو کیا ہے؟
fahal

NA فَهَلْ مِن any
کوئی
min

NA مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ who will receive admonition

muddakirin
ذ ك ر
ذَكّرَ مُّدَّكِرٍ ١٥

ترك آ ىي -آية ذَكّرَ

And We already left this as a sign. Is there anyone who will remember (learn)?

فَكَيْفَ So how?
پس(دیکھ لے)کیسا؟

وَلَقَدْ And certainly
اور البتہ حقیقت میں
Walaqad

NA وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا We have made easy
ہم نے آسان بنا دیا

سَرَّ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْاٰنَ the Quran
قرآن کو

قَرَأَ الْقُرْاٰنَ لِلذِّكْرِ for remembrance
سمجھ ونصیحت کےلیے

ذ ك ر
ذَكّرَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ so is (there)?
تو کیا ہے؟
fahal

NA فَهَلْ مِن any
کوئی
min

NA مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ who will receive admonition

muddakirin
ذ ك ر
ذَكّرَ مُّدَّكِرٍ ١٧

سَرَّ قَرَأَ ذَكّرَ ذَكّرَ

We made the Quran easy for remembrance. Is there anyone who will remember (learn)?

كَذَّبَتْ Denied

میرا عذاب

كَذَبَ عاد كَيدَ كَانَ عَذُبَ نَذَرَ

Aad denied the truth. So, how was My punishment and Warning?

إِنَّآ Indeed We

NA إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا [We] sent
ہم نے بھیجی

رَسِلَ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ upon them
اوپر ان کے
AAalayhim

NA عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا a wind
ہوا ۔آندھی

رَاحَ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا furious
سخت تندوتیز
sarsaran
ص ر ص ر
صُرَّة صَرْصَرًا فِى on
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى يَوْمِ a day
دن
yawmi
ي و م
يوْم يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ (of) misfortune
نحوست والے
nahsin
ن ح س
نَحَسَ Calamitous , Ill fated , Unlucky نَحْسٍ مُّسْتَمِرٍّ continuous
دائمی
mustamirrin
م ر ر
مرّ مُّسْتَمِرٍّ ١٩

رَسِلَ رَاحَ صُرَّة فِي يوْم نَحَسَ مرّ

Indeed, We sent a persistent wind on a day of continuous calamity on them.

تَنزِعُ Plucking out

نَزَعَ تَنزِعُ النَّاسَ men
لوگوں کو

أَنِسَ النَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمْ as if they (were)
گویاکہ وہ
kaannahum

NA كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ trunks
تنے ہیں
aAAjazu
ع ج ز
عَجَزَ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ (of) date-palms
کھجوروں کے
nakhlin
ن خ ل
نَخَلَ نَخْلٍ مُّنقَعِرٍ uprooted
جڑ سے اکھڑے ہوئے
munqaAAirin
ق ع ر
قَعُرَ مُّنقَعِرٍ ٢٠

نَزَعَ أَنِسَ عَجَزَ نَخَلَ قَعُرَ

Removing men like hollowed-out stumps of the (date) pine trees.

فَكَيْفَ So how?
پھر (دیکھ لے)کیسا ؟

ذَكّرَ مُّدَّكِرٍ ٢٢

سَرَّ قَرَأَ ذَكّرَ ذَكّرَ

And indeed, We made the Quran easy for remembrance. Is there anyone who will remember?

كَذَّبَتْ Denied

NA ثَمُودُ بِالنُّذُرِ the warnings

Samood denied the warnings.

فَقَالُوٓا And said
پس کہنے لگے وہ

قَالَ فَقَالُوٓا أَبَشَرًا Is (it) a human being?
کیا ایک( ایسے )بشر کی؟

بشر أَبَشَرًا مِّنَّا among us
جوہم ہی میں سے

NA مِّنَّا وَاحِدًا one
ہےایک(کہ)

أحد One, Unity, Oneness, وَاحِدًا نَّتَّبِعُهُۥٓ (that) we should follow him
ہم پیروی کریں اس کی
nattabiAAuhu
ت ب ع
تبِع نَّتَّبِعُهُۥٓ إِنَّآ Indeed we
بیشک ہم تو

NA إِنَّآ إِذًا then
تب
ithan

NA إِذًا لَّفِى (will be) surely in

NA لَّفِى ضَلَالٍ error
گمراہی
dalalin
ض ل ل
ضلّ ضَلَالٍ وَسُعُرٍ and madness
اور دیوانگی
wasuAAurin
س ع ر
وَسُعَ وَسُعُرٍ ٢٤

قَالَ بشر أحد تبِع ضلّ وَسُعَ

They said, “Are we going to follow only a man of our (own group, a man like us)? Indeed, then we would be misguided and mad.

أَؤُلْقِىَ Has been sent?

(سب)میں سے

NA مِن بَيْنِنَا among us
ہمارے درمیان

بَا نَ Evident , Between بَيْنِنَا بَلْ Nay
(نہیں) بلکہ

NA بَلْ هُوَ he
وہ
huwa

NA هُوَ كَذَّابٌ (is) a liar
انتہائی جھوٹا
kaththabun
ك ذ ب
كَذَبَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرٌ insolent

شَرَّ Evil , Ill , Harm , Wicked أَشِرٌ ٢٥

لقِي ذَكّرَ بَا نَ كَذَبَ شَرَّ

Or has he (the only one) encountered a Reminder among us? But he is a designated liar.”

سَيَعْلَمُونَ They will know
عنقریب وہ جان لیں گے

NA مَّنِ الْكَذَّابُ (is) the liar

كَذَبَ الْكَذَّابُ الْأَشِرُ the insolent one
خود پسندو گستاخ ہے

شَرَّ Evil , Ill , Harm , Wicked الْأَشِرُ ٢٦

علِم غَدَا كَذَبَ شَرَّ

Soon they will know tomorrow who is the designated liar.

إِنَّا Indeed We
بیشک ہم
Inna

NA إِنَّا مُرْسِلُوا (are) sending
بھیجنے والے ہیں

رَسِلَ مُرْسِلُوا النَّاقَةِ the she-camel
اونٹنی

ن و ق
نَاقَة She Camel , Choosey النَّاقَةِ فِتْنَةً (as) a trial
(بطور)آزمائش و فتنہ
fitnatan
ف ت ن
فَتَنَ فِتْنَةً لَّهُمْ for them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَّهُمْ فَارْتَقِبْهُمْ so watch them
پس تو دیکھتارہ ان کو
fairtaqibhum
ر ق ب
رَقَبَ فَارْتَقِبْهُمْ وَاصْطَبِرْ and be patient
اور صبر کئے رکھ
waistabir
ص ب ر
صَبَرَ وَاصْطَبِرْ ٢٧

رَسِلَ نَاقَة فَتَنَ رَقَبَ صَبَرَ

Indeed, We will send the she-camel as a temptation (trial) for them, so watch them and be patient.

54:28

وَنَبِّئْهُمْ And inform them

نبأ وَنَبِّئْهُمْ أَنَّ that

مَا ءَ Water , Liquid , Hydraulic الْمَآءَ قِسْمَةٌ (is) to be shared
مشترک وتقسیم شدہ ہے

قَسَمَ قِسْمَةٌ بَيْنَهُمْ between them
ان کے درمیان

ب ي ن
بَا نَ Evident , Between بَيْنَهُمْ كُلُّ each
ہر ایک

كُلّ كُلُّ شِرْبٍ drink
پینے کی باری پر
shirbin
ش ر ب
شَرِبَ Drink , Soup شِرْبٍ مُّحْتَضَرٌ attended
حاضر ہوتا ہوا جائے گا

ح ض ر
حَضَرَ Present , Attend , Arrive مُّحْتَضَرٌ ٢٨

نبأ مَا ءَ قَسَمَ بَا نَ كُلّ شَرِبَ حَضَرَ

And inform them that the water is divided between them (camel and men), and every drink will be attended (witnessed).

فَنَادَوْا But they called
پس انہوں نےبلایا

ندا فَنَادَوْا صَاحِبَهُمْ their companion
ان کےساتھی کو

صَحِبَ صَاحِبَهُمْ فَتَعَاطَىٰ and he took
پھر اس نے(اسے) پکڑکر

عَطَا فَتَعَاطَىٰ فَعَقَرَ and hamstrung

عَقَرَ فَعَقَرَ ٢٩

ندا صَحِبَ عَطَا عَقَرَ

Then (but) he called a friend of theirs, and then took the task (dared), and wounded (the camel).

فَكَيْفَ So how?
پھر (دیکھ لے)کیسا ؟

كَانَ فَكَانُوا كَهَشِيمِ like dry twig fragments
جیسےروندی ہوئی باڑ
kahasheemi

هشم كَهَشِيمِ الْمُحْتَظِرِ (used by) a fence builder
باڑ لگانے والے کی
almuhtathiri
ح ظ ر
حَظَرَ Forbidden , Prohibition , Fence الْمُحْتَظِرِ ٣١

رَسِلَ صَاحَ أحد كَانَ هشم حَظَرَ

Indeed, We sent on them one blast, and they were (destroyed) like hay in an enclosed (forbidden) fenced.

وَلَقَدْ And certainly
اور البتہ حقیقت میں
Walaqad

NA وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا We have made easy
ہم نے آسان بنا دیا

سَرَّ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْاٰنَ the Quran
قرآن کو

قَرَأَ الْقُرْاٰنَ لِلذِّكْرِ for remembrance
سمجھ ونصیحت کےلیے

ذَكّرَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ so is (there)?
تو کیا ہے؟

NA فَهَلْ مِن any
کوئی
min

NA مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ who will receive admonition

ذَكّرَ مُّدَّكِرٍ ٣٢

سَرَّ قَرَأَ ذَكّرَ ذَكّرَ

And We made the Quran easy to study. Is there anyone who is from learners (students)?

كَذَّبَتْ Denied

لُوطٍ نَّجَّيْنَاهُم We saved them
ہم نےنجات دی انہیں

نَجَا نَّجَّيْنَاهُم بِسَحَرٍ by dawn
ساتھ میں سحر کے وقت
bisaharin
س ح ر
سَحَرَ Magic , Charm , Daybreak بِسَحَرٍ ٣٤

رَسِلَ حَصَبَ اول نَجَا سَحَرَ

Indeed, We sent crushed rocks on them, except for the family of Lut; We saved them by (before) the morning.

54:35

نِعْمَةً (As) a favor
مہربانی کرتے ہوئے

نَعَمَ نِعْمَةً مِّنْ from

NA مِّنْ عِندِنَا Us
ہمارے پاس

عَنَدَ عِندِنَا كَذَٰلِكَ Thus
اس طرح سے

NA كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى We reward
جزا دیتے ہیں ہم

ج ز ي
جَزَى نَجْزِى مَن (one) who
جو کوئی
man

NA مَن شَكَرَ (is) grateful
شکر اداکرے
shakara
ش ك ر
شَكَرَ شَكَرَ ٣٥

نَعَمَ عَنَدَ جَزَى شَكَرَ

Grace from Us. That is how We reward the thankful (who acknowledges).

54:36

وَلَقَدْ And certainly
اور البتہ حقیقت میں
Walaqad

NA وَلَقَدْ أَنذَرَهُم he warned them

نَذَرَ أَنذَرَهُم بَطْشَتَنَا (of) Our seizure
ہماری پکڑ سے

بطش بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْا but they disputed
توانہوں نے شک کیا

مَرْي فَتَمَارَوْا بِالنُّذُرِ the warnings

نَذَرَ بِالنُّذُرِ ٣٦

نَذَرَ بطش مَرْي نَذَرَ

And he (Lut) had already warned them of Our assault (strike), but they doubted the warning.

وَلَقَدْ And certainly

NA وَلَقَدْ رَاوَدُوهُ they demanded from him

مہمانوں کے اس کے

طَمَسَ فَطَمَسْنَآ أَعْيُنَهُمْ their eyes
ان کی آنکھیں
aAAyunahum
ع ي ن
عين أَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوقُوا So taste
پس مزے چکھو تم
fathooqoo
ذ و ق
ذاق Taste, Test, Try, Experience, فَذُوقُوا عَذَابِى My punishment
میرے عذاب کے

ع ذ ب
عَذُبَ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ and My warnings

نَذَرَ وَنُذُرِ ٣٧

رَادَ ضَافَ طَمَسَ عين ذاق عَذُبَ نَذَرَ

And indeed, they tempted (desired) to seek his guests, so, We erased their (destroyed, made lusterless) eyes. “So, taste My Punishment and Warnings.”

وَلَقَدْ And certainly
اور البتہ حقیقت میں
Walaqad

NA وَلَقَدْ صَبَّحَهُم seized them in the morning

سویرے سویرے

بَكَرَ Morning , Tomorrow , Virgin بُكْرَةً عَذَابٌ a punishment

عَذُبَ عَذَابٌ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ abiding
نہ ٹلنے والے ۔ دائمی
mustaqirrun
ق ر ر
قَرَّ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ ٣٨

صَبُحَ بَكَرَ عَذُبَ قَرَّ

And already, their early morning brought lasting punishment.

فَذُوقُوا So taste
پس مزے چکھو تم

ذاق Taste, Test, Try, Experience, فَذُوقُوا عَذَابِى My punishment

And indeed, the warnings came to the family of Firoun.

كَذَّبُوا They denied

كَذَبَ كَذَّبُوا بِاٰيَاتِنَا Our Signs
ساتھ ہماری نشانیوں کے

آ ىي -آية بِاٰيَاتِنَا كُلِّهَا all of them

كُلّ كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ so We seized them

أ خ ذ
أَخَذَ فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ أَخْذَ (with) a seizure
(مانند)پکڑ نے
akhtha
أ خ ذ
أَخَذَ أَخْذَ عَزِيزٍ (of) All-Mighty
خوب غالب
AAazeezin
ع ز ز
عَزَّ عَزِيزٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ (the) Powerful One

muqtadirin
ق د ر
قدر مُّقْتَدِرٍ ٤٢

كَذَبَ آ ىي -آية كُلّ أَخَذَ أَخَذَ عَزَّ قدر

They denied Our signs, all of them, so, We seized them with strong power.

أَكُفَّارُكُمْ Are your disbelievers?

am

NA أَمْ لَكُم for you
تمہارے لیے

NA لَكُم بَرَآءَةٌ (is) an exemption

بَرَّ Dutiful , Devoted بَرَآءَةٌ فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں

فِي فِى الزُّبُرِ the Scriptures
(سابقہ)صحیفوں

زُبْر Psalms الزُّبُرِ ٤٣

كَفَرَ خَيرَ بَرَّ فِي زُبْر

Are your ungrateful people better than those? Or is there an exemption for you in the Psalms?

یا (کیا)
Am

NA أَمْ يَقُولُونَ (do) they say
وہ کہتے ہیں(کہ)

NA نَحْنُ جَمِيعٌ (are) an assembly
جماعت ہیں

ج م ع
جَمَعَ Gather , Collect جَمِيعٌ مُّنتَصِرٌ helping (each other)

نَصَرَ مُّنتَصِرٌ ٤٤

قَالَ جَمَعَ نَصَرَ

Or do they say, “We are all together and will be victorious (triumphant helping each other).”?

سَيُهْزَمُ Soon will be defeated

هَزَمَ سَيُهْزَمُ الْجَمْعُ (their) assembly

جَمَعَ Gather , Collect الْجَمْعُ وَيُوَلُّونَ and they will turn
اوروہ بھاگیں گے

و ل ي
وَلِيَ وَيُوَلُّونَ الدُّبُرَ (their) backs
پیٹھ پھیر کر
alddubura
د ب ر
دبر الدُّبُرَ ٤٥

هَزَمَ جَمَعَ وَلِيَ دبر

Soon they will be defeated altogether, and they will turn away their backs.

بَلِ Nay
(نہیں) بلکہ
Bali

NA بَلِ السَّاعَةُ the Hour
قیامت کی گھڑی

سَاعته Short Time , Hour , Watch , Clock السَّاعَةُ مَوْعِدُهُمْ (is) their promised time
ان کا وعدے کاوقت ہے
mawAAiduhum
و ع د
وَعَدَ مَوْعِدُهُمْ وَالسَّاعَةُ and the Hour
اور قیامت کی گھڑی
waalssaAAatu
س و ع
سَاعته Short Time , Hour , Watch , Clock وَالسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَىٰ (will be) more grievous
بہت ہولناک مصیبت ہے

NF أَدْهَىٰ وَأَمَرُّ and more bitter
اور نہایت تلخ (حقیقت)

أمر وَأَمَرُّ ٤٦

سَاعته وَعَدَ سَاعته NF أمر

But the Time is promised (appointed) for them, and the Time will be disastrous (and most bitter) and ordered (commanded).

مجرمین ومجرم لوگ ہیں

فِي فِى ضَلَالٍ an error
گمراہی
dalalin
ض ل ل
ضلّ ضَلَالٍ وَسُعُرٍ and madness
اور دیوانگی
wasuAAurin
س ع ر
وَسُعَ وَسُعُرٍ ٤٧

جرم فِي ضلّ وَسُعَ

Indeed, the sinners are strayed and in madness.

مسّ مَسَّ سَقَرَ (of) Hell
جہنم کا

سَقَرَ ٤٨

يوْم سَحَبَ فِي نَار وَجَهَ ذاق مسّ

On Day when they will be dragged in the Fire with their faces: “Taste the touch of Hell.”

ساتھ ایک اندازے کے

قدر بِقَدَرٍ ٤٩

كُلّ شِاءَ خَلَقَ قدر

Indeed, We have created everything with a destiny. (In proportion with amount as much as needed).

لمح كَلَمْحٍ بِالْبَصَرِ (of) the eye
آنکھ کے

بصُر See , Eyes, Eyesight, Understand بِالْبَصَرِ ٥٠

أمر أحد لمح بصُر

And Our command is (executed in) just one glance (glance of an eye, instantly).

اور البتہ حقیقت میں

NA وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا We destroyed
ہم ہلاک کر چکے(پہلے)

NA مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ who will receive admonition

هَلَكَ شَاعَ ذَكّرَ

We destroyed your groups. Is there anyone who is remembering?

وَكُلُّ And every

Wakullu

كُلّ وَكُلُّ شَىْءٍ thing
شے کے(جو)
shayin
ش ي أ
شِاءَ شَىْءٍ فَعَلُوهُ they did

faAAaloohu
ف ع ل
فَعَلَ فَعَلُوهُ فِى (is) in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى الزُّبُرِ the written records
ہےاعمال ناموں
alzzuburi
ز ب ر
زُبْر Psalms الزُّبُرِ ٥٢

كُلّ شِاءَ فَعَلَ فِي زُبْر

Everything they did is in the Record.

وَكُلُّ And every

كُلّ وَكُلُّ صَغِيرٍ small
چھوٹا(عمل)
sagheerin

صَغُرَ صَغِيرٍ وَكَبِيرٍ and big
اوربڑا(عمل)
wakabeerin
ك ب ر
كَبَرَ وَكَبِيرٍ مُسْتَطَرٌ (is) written down
لکھا گیا ہے
mustatarun
س ط ر
سَطَرَ مُسْتَطَرٌ ٥٣

كُلّ صَغُرَ كَبَرَ سَطَرَ

Every, small or big, is written down.

إِنَّ Indeed
بیشک (ہوں گے)

NA إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ the righteous
متقین و پرہیزگار
almuttaqeena
و ق ي
تقى الْمُتَّقِينَ فِى (will be) in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى جَنَّاتٍ gardens
باغات
jannatin
ج ن ن
جنّ جَنَّاتٍ وَنَهَرٍ and river
اور نہروں
wanaharin
ن ه ر
نهر وَنَهَرٍ ٥٤

تقى فِي جنّ نهر

Indeed, the God-fearing (devoted, pious) will be in gardens and rivers.

نزدیک ۔ پاس

عَنَدَ عِندَ مَلِيكٍ a King
بادشاہ کے
maleekin
م ل ك
ملك مَلِيكٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ Most Powerful
نہایت قدرت رکھنے والے
muqtadirin
ق د ر
قدر مُّقْتَدِرٍ ٥٥

فِي قَعَدَ صَدَقَ عَنَدَ ملك قدر

In an assembly of truth near the Most Powerful King.
