سُبْحَٰنَ Exalted
پاک ہے
Subhana
س ب ح
سبح سُبْحَٰنَ الَّذِىٓ (is) the One Who
وہ (اللہ)جو
allathee

NA الَّذِىٓ أَسْرَىٰ took
لے گیا
asra
س ر ي
سَرَى أَسْرَىٰ بِعَبْدِهِۦ His servant

biAAabdihi
ع ب د
عَبَدَ بِعَبْدِهِۦ لَيْلًا (by) night
رات کے ایک حصے میں

ل ي ل
لَيْل Night , Nightly , Cover of Darkness لَيْلًا مِّنَ from
سے
mina

NA مِّنَ الْمَسْجِدِ Al-Masjid
مسجد

سَجَدَ Bow down , Prostrate , Worship الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ Al-Haraam

حَرُمَ Forbidden , Unlawful , Sanctuary الْحَرَامِ إِلَى to

NA إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ Al-Masjid

سَجَدَ Bow down , Prostrate , Worship الْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَا Al-Aqsa

قَصَا الْأَقْصَا الَّذِى which
جس میں کہ
allathee

NA الَّذِى بَارَكْنَا We blessed
ہم نے برکت رکھی
barakna
ب ر ك
بَرَكَ Blessing , Abundant , Prosperity بَارَكْنَا حَوْلَهُۥ its surroundings
اس کے ارد گرد
hawlahu
ح و ل
حَالَ Turn , Change , Condition حَوْلَهُۥ لِنُرِيَهُۥ that We may show him
تا کہ ہم دکھائیں اس کو
linuriyahu
ر أ ي
رَأَى لِنُرِيَهُۥ مِنْ of
کچھ
min

NA مِنْ اٰيَاتِنَا Our Signs
ہماری نشانیاں
ayatina
أ ي ي
آ ىي -آية اٰيَاتِنَا إِنَّهُۥ Indeed He
بلا شبہ وہ
innahu

NA إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ He
وہی ہے
huwa

NA هُوَ السَّمِيعُ (is) the All-Hearer
خوب سننےوالا
alssameeAAu
س م ع
سَمَعَ Hear , Listen , Pay Attention السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ the All-Seer
گہرائی سےدیکھنےوالا
albaseeru
ب ص ر
بصُر See , Eyes, Eyesight, Understand الْبَصِيرُ ١

سبح سَرَى عَبَدَ لَيْل سَجَدَ حَرُمَ سَجَدَ قَصَا بَرَكَ حَالَ رَأَى آ ىي -آية سَمَعَ بصُر

Praise be to Him Who took His worshipper to travel by night from the Sacred Mosque (Mecca) to Aqsa (far away, Jerusalem) Mosque, whose precincts (surroundings) We have blessed, for Us to show him Our signs; Indeed, He is the All Listener and All-Seer.

وَآتَيْنَا And We gave
اور ہم نے دی

أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, وَآتَيْنَا مُوسَى Musa
موسٰیؑ کو

NA مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ the Book
کتاب

كَتَبَ الْكِتَابَ وَجَعَلْنَاهُ and made it
اورہم نےبنایااسے
wajaAAalnahu
ج ع ل
جعل Make , Create, Bring, Give, Grant, وَجَعَلْنَاهُ هُدًى a guidance
سرچشمۂ ہدایت

هَدَى هُدًى لِّبَنِىٓ for the Children
لیے اولادِ
libanee
ب ن ي
اِبْن Son , Descendant , Man , Human Being , لِّبَنِىٓ إِسْرَائِيلَ (of) Israel
اسرائیل
israeela

NA إِسْرَائِيلَ أَلَّا That not
کہ نہ
alla

NA أَلَّا تَتَّخِذُواْ you take
بناؤتم
tattakhithoo
أ خ ذ
أَخَذَ تَتَّخِذُواْ مِن from
سے
min

NA مِن دُونِى other than Me
علاوہ میرے
doonee
د و ن
دُون Without , Below , Administrative دُونِى وَكِيلًا (as) a Disposer of affairs
کوئی بھی کارسازو وکیل
wakeelan
و ك ل
وَكَلَ وَكِيلًا ٢

أتى كَتَبَ جعل هَدَى اِبْن أَخَذَ دُون وَكَلَ

And We gave Musa the Book and made that guidance for the Children of Israel: Do not take hold of anyone besides Me as a supporter in charge.

ذُرِّيَّةَ Offsprings
(اےوہ)اولاد
Thurriyyata
ذ ر ر
ذَرَّ ذُرِّيَّةَ مَنْ (of one) who
جس کو

NA مَنْ حَمَلْنَا We carried
سوار کیا تھا ہم نے
hamalna
ح م ل
حَمَلَ carry , Loaded , Bear حَمَلْنَا مَعَ with
ساتھ
maAAa

NA مَعَ نُوحٍ Nuh
نوحؑ کے
noohin
ن و ح
نُوحٍ إِنَّهُۥ Indeed he
بیشک وہ
innahu

NA إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ was
تھا
kana
ك و ن
كَانَ كَانَ عَبْدًا a servant
ایک بندہ
AAabdan
ع ب د
عَبَدَ عَبْدًا شَكُورًا grateful
نہایت شکر گزار
shakooran
ش ك ر
شَكَرَ شَكُورًا ٣

ذَرَّ حَمَلَ كَانَ عَبَدَ شَكَرَ

Descendants from those We carried with Noah (on the ship, Ark), he was a thankful worshipper.

وَقَضَيْنَآ And We decreed

اِبْن Son , Descendant , Man , Human Being , بَنِىٓ إِسْرَائِيلَ (of) Israel
اسرائیل کی

NA إِسْرَائِيلَ فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى الْكِتَابِ the Book
کتاب

كَتَبَ الْكِتَابِ لَتُفْسِدُنَّ Surely you will cause corruption

فَسَدَ لَتُفْسِدُنَّ فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى الْأَرْضِ the earth
زمین

أ ر ض
أَ رَضْ Land, Area, Region , Earth , Country الْأَرْضِ مَرَّتَيْنِ twice
دوبار
marratayni
م ر ر
مرّ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَلَتَعْلُنَّ and surely you will reach

walataAAlunna
ع ل و
عَلَنَ وَلَتَعْلُنَّ عُلُوًّا haughtiness
سرکشی
AAuluwwan
ع ل و
عَلَا عُلُوًّا كَبِيرًا great
بہت بڑی ۔ زبردست
kabeeran
ك ب ر
كَبَرَ كَبِيرًا ٤

قَضَى اِبْن فِي كَتَبَ فَسَدَ فِي أَ رَضْ مرّ عَلَنَ عَلَا كَبَرَ

And We decreed to children of Israel in the Book: You will spread immorality (corruption, sow discord) in the earth twice and elevate to a higher level (reach a remarkable ascent in the level of crime).

فَإِذَا So when

NA فَإِذَا جَآءَ came

جَاءَ Come , Reach , Arrive جَآءَ وَعْدُ (the) promise
وعدہ

و ع د
وَعَدَ وَعْدُ أُولَىٰهُمَا (for) the first of the two

اول أُولَىٰهُمَا بَعَثْنَا We raised

ب ع ث
بعث بَعَثْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ against you
اوپر تمہارے
AAalaykum

NA عَلَيْكُمْ عِبَادًا servants
بندے
AAibadan
ع ب د
عَبَدَ عِبَادًا لَّنَآ of Ours
(جو تھے)لیے
lana

NA لَّنَآ أُوْلِى those of
ان لوگوں سےجو
olee
أ و ل
اول أُوْلِى بَأْسٍ military might
فوجی طاقت والے جنگجو
basin
ب أ س
بَأْ س- بَؤُ سَ بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ a severe
شدید و سخت
shadeedin
ش د د
شَدَّ Very , Very often , firm , strong شَدِيدٍ فَجَاسُواْ and they entered

جَاسَ Explore , Investigate فَجَاسُواْ خِلَالَ the inner most part

خَلَّ Gap , Friend , Defective خِلَالَ الدِّيَارِ (of) the homes
شہر کے

دَارَ Turn , Around , House , Period الدِّيَارِ وَكَانَ and (it) was
اور (یہ) تھا

ك و ن
كَانَ وَكَانَ وَعْدًا a promise
ایک وعدہ
waAAdan
و ع د
وَعَدَ وَعْدًا مَّفْعُولًا fulfilled

mafAAoolan
ف ع ل
فَعَلَ مَّفْعُولًا ٥

جَاءَ وَعَدَ اول بعث عَبَدَ اول بَأْ س- بَؤُ سَ شَدَّ جَاسَ خَلَّ دَارَ كَانَ وَعَدَ فَعَلَ

When the first of two promises came true, We raised on you, Our worshippers, with strong (steadfast) courage, and they entered through the gaps (openings) in the homes to gain information. And that was a promise to be done.

ثُمَّ Then

Thumma

NA ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَا We gave back

رَدَّ Return , Resist , Oppose رَدَدْنَا لَكُمُ to you
تمہارے لیے

NA لَكُمُ الْكَرَّةَ the return victory
واپسی فتح

كُرة Globe , Sphere , Ball , الْكَرَّةَ عَلَيْهِمْ over them
اوپر ان کے
AAalayhim

NA عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَمْدَدْنَاكُم And We reinforced you

waamdadnakum
م د د
مدّ وَأَمْدَدْنَاكُم بِأَمْوَالٍ with the wealth
ساتھ اموال
biamwalin
م و ل
مَال بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ and sons
اور اولاد۔اوربیٹوں
wabaneena
ب ن ي
بَا نَ Evident , Between وَبَنِينَ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ and made you
اورہم نےتمہیں کر دیا
wajaAAalnakum
ج ع ل
جعل Make , Create, Bring, Give, Grant, وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ أَكْثَرَ more
بہت سارے

كَثَرَ Many , Numerous , More , Multiply أَكْثَرَ نَفِيرًا numerous
تعداد میں
nafeeran
ن ف ر
نَفَرَ نَفِيرًا ٦

رَدَّ كُرة مدّ مَال بَا نَ جعل كَثَرَ نَفَرَ

Then We returned you with your turn (round) on them, assisted you with wealth and children, and rewarded you with a growing group (increasing numbers).

إِنْ If

NA إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ you do good
نیکی کی تم نے

حَسَنَ Good , Beautiful , Nice أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ you do good
(تو وہ)نیکی کی تم نے
ahsantum
ح س ن
حَسَنَ Good , Beautiful , Nice أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ for yourselves

نفُس لِأَنفُسِكُمْ وَإِنْ and if
اور اگر
wain

NA وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ you do evil
برائی کی تم نے

س و أ
سأل Ask, Demand , Request , Begging أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا then it is for it

NA فَلَهَا فَإِذَا So when
پھر جب

NA فَإِذَا جَآءَ came

جَاءَ Come , Reach , Arrive جَآءَ وَعْدُ promise
وعدہ

وَعَدَ وَعْدُ الاٰخِرَةِ the last
آخر والا(دوسرا والا)

أخر Last , Recent , Another , Postpone الاٰخِرَةِ لِيَسُوؤُواْ to sadden

سَا ءَ Bad , Evil , Unfortunate لِيَسُوؤُواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ your faces
تمہارے چہرے

وَجَهَ وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُواْ and to enter

دَخَلَ Penetrate , Internal وَلِيَدْخُلُواْ الْمَسْجِدَ the Masjid
مسجد میں

سَجَدَ Bow down , Prostrate , Worship الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا just as
جیسا کہ

NA كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ they (had) entered it

تَبَرَ Destroy , Annihilate وَلِيُتَبِّرُواْ مَا what

NA مَا عَلَواْ they had conquered
انہوں نے قابوپایا

عَلَا عَلَواْ تَتْبِيرًا (with) destruction

تَبَرَ Destroy , Annihilate تَتْبِيرًا ٧

حَسَنَ حَسَنَ نفُس سأل جَاءَ وَعَدَ أخر سَا ءَ وَجَهَ دَخَلَ سَجَدَ دَخَلَ اول مرّ تَبَرَ عَلَا تَبَرَ

If you do well (good deeds), you will do well (good deeds) for yourselves; and if you do poorly (evil), you do it against yourselves. Then when the other promise came, they grieved your faces and entered the Masjid like they entered the first time and demolished what was raised (built).

17:8

عَسَىٰ (It) may be
قریب ہے

عَسَى عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ your Lord
تمہارا رب
rabbukum
ر ب ب
رَبَّ رَبُّكُمْ أَن that
کہ

NA أَن يَرْحَمَكُمْ (may) have mercy upon you
تم پر رحم کردے
yarhamakum
ر ح م
رَحِمَ Merciful , Compassionate يَرْحَمَكُمْ وَإِنْ But if
لیکن اگر
wain

NA وَإِنْ عُدتُّمْ you return
واپس سرکشی کرتے ہوتم
AAudtum
ع و د
عَدَّ Count , Calculate , Number عُدتُّمْ عُدْنَا We will return

ع و د
عدا عُدْنَا وَجَعَلْنَا And We have made
اورہم نےبنایا ہے
wajaAAalna
ج ع ل
جعل Make , Create, Bring, Give, Grant, وَجَعَلْنَا جَهَنَّمَ Hell
جہنم کو
jahannama

NA جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ for the disbelievers
کافروں کے لیے
lilkafireena
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ حَصِيرًا a prison-bed
قید خانہ
haseeran
ح ص ر
حَصَرَ Confine , encirclement حَصِيرًا ٨

عَسَى رَبَّ رَحِمَ عَدَّ عدا جعل كَفَرَ حَصَرَ

Perhaps your Rabb will have mercy on you. And then (but) if you repeat, We will revert. We have made Hell a confined place for the ungrateful.

17:9

إِنَّ Indeed

NA إِنَّ هَٰذَا this
یہ

NA هَٰذَا الْقُرْاٰنَ the Quran
قرآن

قَرَأَ الْقُرْاٰنَ يَهْدِى guides
رہنمائی کرتا ہے
yahdee
ه د ي
هَدَى يَهْدِى لِلَّتِى to that
لیے اس(راہ)
lillatee

NA لِلَّتِى هِىَ which
جو کہ ہے
hiya

NA هِىَ أَقْوَمُ (is) most straight
سب سے زیادہ سیدھی
aqwamu
ق و م
قَامَ أَقْوَمُ وَيُبَشِّرُ and gives glad tidings
اور بشارت دیتا ہے
wayubashshiru
ب ش ر
بشِر وَيُبَشِّرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ to the believers
مومنوں کو
almumineena
أ م ن
أمُن الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ those who
وہ لوگ کہ
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ do
وہ عمل کرتے ہیں
yaAAmaloona
ع م ل
عَمِلَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ the righteous deeds
نیک وصالح ا عمال
alssalihati
ص ل ح
صَلَحَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ that
کہ
anna

NA أَنَّ لَهُمْ for them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَهُمْ أَجْرًا (is) a reward
ہے اجروانعام
ajran
أ ج ر
أَجَرَ Reward , Wages , Rent أَجْرًا كَبِيرًا great
بہت بڑا۔ زبردست
kabeeran
ك ب ر
كَبَرَ كَبِيرًا ٩

قَرَأَ هَدَى قَامَ بشِر أمُن عَمِلَ صَلَحَ أَجَرَ كَبَرَ

This Quran guides those who are steadfast, and brings good news to the believers who do good, that they will have a great reward.

وَأَنَّ And that
اور یہ کہ
Waanna

NA وَأَنَّ الَّذِينَ those who
وہ لوگ جو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ لَا (do) not
نہیں

NA لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ believe
وہ ایمان لاتے
yuminoona
أ م ن
أمُن يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْاَٰخِرَةِ in the Hereafter
ساتھ میں آخرت
bialakhirati
أ خ ر
أخر Last , Recent , Another , Postpone بِالْاَٰخِرَةِ أَعْتَدْنَا We have prepared
ہم نے تیار کیا ہے
aAAtadna
ع ت د
عَتُدَ Ready , Prepare , Ammunition أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ for them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَهُمْ عَذَابًا a punishment
عذاب
AAathaban
ع ذ ب
عَذُبَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا painful
بہت دردناک
aleeman
أ ل م
أَ لِمَ Pain , Hurt , Suffer أَلِيمًا ١٠

أمُن أخر عَتُدَ عَذُبَ أَ لِمَ

And for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have prepared for them a painful punishment.

وَيَدْعُ And prays
اور دعا مانگنےلگتا ہے

دَعَا call , Prayer , Spread وَيَدْعُ الْإِنسَانُ the man
انسان

أ ن س
أَنِسَ الْإِنسَانُ بِالشَّرِّ for evil
برائی کے ساتھ
bialshsharri
ش ر ر
شَرَّ Evil , Ill , Harm , Wicked بِالشَّرِّ دُعَآءَهُۥ (as) he prays
(جیسےکہ ہو) اس کی دعا
duAAaahu
د ع و
دَعَا call , Prayer , Spread دُعَآءَهُۥ بِالْخَيْرِ for the good
بھلائی کے لیے
bialkhayri
خ ي ر
خَيرَ Choose , Good , Charity , Prefer بِالْخَيْرِ وَكَانَ And is
اور ہے
wakana
ك و ن
كَانَ وَكَانَ الْإِنسَانُ the man
انسان
alinsanu
أ ن س
أَنِسَ الْإِنسَانُ عَجُولًا ever hasty
نہایت جلدباز
AAajoolan
ع ج ل
عَجِلَ عَجُولًا ١١

دَعَا أَنِسَ شَرَّ دَعَا خَيرَ كَانَ أَنِسَ عَجِلَ

And humankind calls for wickedness (thinking that); his call is for good. Humankind is haste (in judgments).

وَجَعَلْنَا And We have made
اورہم نےبنایا

جعل Make , Create, Bring, Give, Grant, وَجَعَلْنَا الَّيْلَ the night

لَيْل Night , Nightly , Cover of Darkness الَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ and the day
اور دن کو

ن ه ر
نهر وَالنَّهَارَ اٰيَتَيْنِ (as) two signs
دو نشانیاں

أ ي ي
آ ىي -آية اٰيَتَيْنِ فَمَحَوْنَآ Then We erased

محا فَمَحَوْنَآ اٰيَةَ (the) sign
نشانی

أ ي ي
آ ىي -آية اٰيَةَ الَّيْلِ (of) the night

لَيْل Night , Nightly , Cover of Darkness الَّيْلِ وَجَعَلْنَآ and We made
اورہم نےبنا دیا

جعل Make , Create, Bring, Give, Grant, وَجَعَلْنَآ اٰيَةَ (the) sign

آ ىي -آية اٰيَةَ النَّهَارِ (of) the day

نهر النَّهَارِ مُبْصِرَةً visible
نظر آنے والی۔روشن

بصُر See , Eyes, Eyesight, Understand مُبْصِرَةً لِّتَبْتَغُواْ that you may seek
تاکہ تلاش کرسکوتم

فَضَلَ فَضْلًا مِّن from
میں سے

NA مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ your Lord
تمہارے رب کے

رَبَّ رَّبِّكُمْ وَلِتَعْلَمُواْ and that you may know
اورتاکہ جان سکوتم
walitaAAlamoo
ع ل م
علِم وَلِتَعْلَمُواْ عَدَدَ (the) number

عَدَّ Count , Calculate , Number عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ (of) the years
سالوں کی
alssineena
س ن و
سَنَّ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ and the account
اورحساب(بھی)
waalhisaba
ح س ب
حَسَبَ Calculate , Count , Opinion وَالْحِسَابَ وَكُلَّ And every
اور ہر
wakulla
ك ل ل
كُلّ وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ thing
چیز( کہ)
shayin
ش ي أ
شِاءَ شَىْءٍ فَصَّلْنَاهُ We have explained it

فَصَلَ فَصَّلْنَاهُ تَفْصِيلًا (in) detail
تفصیل سے

فَصَلَ تَفْصِيلًا ١٢

جعل لَيْل نهر آ ىي -آية محا آ ىي -آية لَيْل جعل آ ىي -آية نهر بصُر بغى فَضَلَ رَبَّ علِم عَدَّ سَنَّ حَسَبَ كُلّ شِاءَ فَصَلَ فَصَلَ

And We have made the night and the day two signs. So, We erase the sign of the night and make the sign of the day a realization for you to seek the favors of your Rabb and for you to know the counting and calculations of the years. And We have detailed everything, everything separately. (Note. Human eyes are suited for seeing in the daylight. At the surface of the Sun, the temperature is about 5700 Kelvin, corresponding to the wavelength of 500 nm; in the eyes, the photopigment rhodopsin has peak sensitivity to the blue-green light wavelength of about 500 nanometers. So eyes are designed to see the same wavelength as sunlight, based on sun temperatures).

وَكُلَّ And (for) every

كُلّ وَكُلَّ إِنسَانٍ man

أَنِسَ إِنسَانٍ أَلْزَمْنَاهُ We have fastened to him
ہم نےلٹکا دیا اس کو

لَزِمَ أَلْزَمْنَاهُ طَآئِرَهُۥ his fate
قسمت میں اس کی

طَارَ طَآئِرَهُۥ فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں

فِي فِى عُنُقِهِۦ his neck
اس کی گردن

عَنِقَ عُنُقِهِۦ وَنُخْرِجُ and We will bring forth
اور ہم نکال لائیں گے

خرج وَنُخْرِجُ لَهُۥ for him
لیے اس کے

NA لَهُۥ يَوْمَ (on the) Day

يوْم يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ (of) the Resurrection

قَامَ الْقِيَامَةِ كِتَابًا a record
ایک کتاب

كَتَبَ كِتَابًا يَلْقَاهُ which he will find
جسے پائے گا وہ

لقِي يَلْقَاهُ مَنشُورًا wide open
کھلی ہوئی

نشر مَنشُورًا ١٣

كُلّ أَنِسَ لَزِمَ طَارَ فِي عَنِقَ خرج يوْم قَامَ كَتَبَ لقِي نشر

Every human has an omen (fact, book of deeds) accompanying him around the neck. The book (of deeds) will be brought out for him on the Day of Standing, and he will read it openly.

اقْرَأْ Read

کافی ہے

كفى كَفَىٰ بِنَفْسِكَ (is) yourself
یقیناًخودنفس تیرا

نفُس بِنَفْسِكَ الْيَوْمَ today
آج کے دن

يوْم الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكَ against you
اوپر تیرے

NA عَلَيْكَ حَسِيبًا (as) accountant
حساب لینے والا
haseeban
ح س ب
حَسَبَ Calculate , Count , Opinion حَسِيبًا ١٤

قَرَأَ كَتَبَ كفى نفُس يوْم حَسَبَ

“Read your book; you are sufficient to read your own account today.”

مَّنِ Whoever

NA مَّنِ اهْتَدَىٰ (is) guided
پالی ہدایت

NA فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِى he is guided
اس نے ہدایت پائی

هَدَى يَهْتَدِى لِنَفْسِهِۦ for his soul
لیے خودنفس اس کے

نفُس لِنَفْسِهِۦ وَمَن And whoever

NA وَمَن ضَلَّ goes astray
بھٹک کےگمراہ ہوا

ضلّ ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا then only
توبلاشبہ صرف
fainnama

NA فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ he goes astray
وہ گمراہ ہوا

ضلّ يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا against it

NA عَلَيْهَا وَلَا And not
اور نہیں

NA وَلَا تَزِرُ will bear

کوئی بوجھ اٹھانے والا

كَانَ كُنَّا مُعَذِّبِينَ are to punish
سزا دینے والے

عَذُبَ مُعَذِّبِينَ حَتَّىٰ until
یہاں تک کہ(پہلے)

NA حَتَّىٰ نَبْعَثَ We have sent
ہم بھیجتے ہیں

بعث نَبْعَثَ رَسُولًا a Messenger
کوئی رسول
rasoolan
ر س ل
رَسِلَ رَسُولًا ١٥

هَدَى هَدَى نفُس ضلّ ضلّ وَزَرَ وَزَرَ وَزَرَ أخر كَانَ عَذُبَ بعث رَسِلَ

Whoever is guided is guided for himself (his benefit), and whoever is misguided is misguided for himself. You will not carry the weight (sins) of the others, nor do We punish until We raise a messenger (to give warning).

وَإِذَآ And when

ہم حکم دیتے ہیں

أمر أَمَرْنَا مُتْرَفِيهَا its wealthy people
اس کےخوشحال لوگوں کو

تَرِفَ Luxury , Comfort مُتْرَفِيهَا فَفَسَقُواْ but they defiantly disobey

NA فِيهَا فَحَقَّ so (is) proved true
پھر (جب)ثابت ہوجاتی ہے

رَادَ هَلَكَ قَرَى أمر تَرِفَ فًسًق حَقَّ قَالَ دَمَرَ دَمَرَ

And when We desire to destroy a city, We order the well-to-do in them; they make mischief (spread corruption) in it, so the word (punishment) is justified, and then We annihilate them.

وَكَمْ And how many?

NA وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا We destroyed

خوب خبر رکھنے والا

خَبَرَ Know , News , Knowledge خَبِيرًا بَصِيرًا All-Seer

هَلَكَ قرن بعُد كفى رَبَّ ذَنْب عَبَدَ خَبَرَ بصُر

And how many among the communities have We destroyed after Noah? Your Rabb is sufficient to see the sins of His slaves.

چاہتے ہیں ہم

لیے جس کے(اور جتنا)

NA لِمَن نُّرِيدُ We intend
ہم ارادہ رکھتے ہیں

رَادَ نُّرِيدُ ثُمَّ Then

NA ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا We have made
ٹھہرا دیتے ہیں ہم

جعل Make , Create, Bring, Give, Grant, جَعَلْنَا لَهُۥ for him
لیے اس کے

NA لَهُۥ جَهَنَّمَ Hell
جہنم(کہ)

NA جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَاهَآ he will burn
اس میں جلے سڑے ہو گا

وَصَلَ يَصْلَاهَآ مَذْمُومًا disgraced
بدنام وملامت زدہ

ذ م م
ذَمَّ Blame , Conscience مَذْمُومًا مَّدْحُورًا rejected

دَحَرَ Drive Away , Repel , Remove مَّدْحُورًا ١٨

كَانَ رَادَ عَجِلَ عَجِلَ شِاءَ رَادَ جعل وَصَلَ ذَمَّ دَحَرَ

Whoever desires to expedite (rewards in this world), We expedite what We decide to give him, with what We want. Then We make Hell for him, where he will burn, be condemned, and defeated.

17:19

وَمَنْ And whoever

NA وَمَنْ أَرَادَ desires
چا ہتاہے

رَادَ أَرَادَ الاٰخِرَةَ the Hereafter

أخر Last , Recent , Another , Postpone الاٰخِرَةَ وَسَعَىٰ and exerts
اور کوشش بھی کرتاہے

س ع ي
سعى وَسَعَىٰ لَهَا for it
لیے اس کے

NA لَهَا سَعْيَهَا the effort
مناسب کوشش اس کی
saAAyaha
س ع ي
سعى سَعْيَهَا وَهُوَ while he
جبکہ ہے وہ
wahuwa

NA وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ (is) a believer
مومن
muminun
أ م ن
أمُن مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ then those
پس یہ لوگ
faolaika

NA فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ كَانَ [are]
ہیں

كَانَ كَانَ سَعْيُهُم their effort
ان کی کوشش
saAAyuhum
س ع ي
سعى سَعْيُهُم مَّشْكُورًا (is) appreciated

mashkooran

شَكَرَ مَّشْكُورًا ١٩

رَادَ أخر سعى سعى أمُن كَانَ سعى شَكَرَ

And whoever desires the Hereafter and struggles with his efforts while he is a believer, their attempts (endeavors, steps) are acknowledged.

كُلَّ مدّ عَطَا رَبَّ كَانَ عَطَا رَبَّ حَظَرَ

To all, We give support, these and those (Believers and nonbelievers both are provided with known and unknown benefits), your Rabb grants gifts. Your Rabb's gifts are not enclosed (in a fence, restricted, limited).Note: Arabic - Easy Explanation: To each group of those who work for this limited, finite, vanishing fleeting world and those who work for the ever-lasting Hereafter, We increase our sustenance and provide for the believers and the unbelievers in this world. For sustenance is the gift of your Rabb, a bounty from Him, and the gift of your Rabb is not forbidden to anyone, whether he is a believer or an unbeliever.

فضیلت میں
tafdeelan

فَضَلَ تَفْضِيلًا ٢١

نَظَرَ كَيدَ فَضَلَ بَعَضَ بَعَضَ أخر كَبَرَ دَرَجَ كَبَرَ فَضَلَ

See how We have elevated some over others (in this world), yet the Hereafter will have higher grades in excellence.

Do not make other gods with Allah; then you will remain blameworthy, despicable, and cutoff.

وَقَضَىٰ And has decreed

Your Rabb has decreed that you worship only Him and be kind to your parents. When they reach old age with you, one or both of them, then do not say a word of disrespect, repulse, or reprimand them, but say decent words to them.

وَاخْفِضْ And lower

ان دونوں نے مجھے پالا

صَغُرَ صَغِيرًا ٢٤

خَفَضَ جَنَحَ ذَلَّ رَحِمَ قَالَ رَبَّ رَحِمَ رَبَا صَغُرَ

And make it comfortable for them and incline to be gentle, with mercy, and say, “O my Rabb, have mercy on them, like they had raised me when I was small (infant, young).”

غفر غَفُورًا ٢٥

رَبَّ علِم فِي نفُس كَانَ صَلَحَ كَانَ أ و ب غفر

Your Rabb knows best with what is in you. If you are righteous, He is Most Forgiving to those who return to Him.

مسكن وَالْمِسْكِينَ وَابْنَ and son of (travellers)
اور بیٹے

ب ن ي
اِبْن Son , Descendant , Man , Human Being , وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ the wayfarer (travellers)
راستےکے(مسافروں)
alssabeeli
س ب ل
سَبَلَ Way , Road , Access , Way السَّبِيلِ وَلَا and (do) not
اور نہ
wala

NA وَلَا تُبَذِّرْ spend
تو فضول خرچی کر
tubaththir
ب ذ ر
بذر تُبَذِّرْ تَبْذِيرًا wastefully
بے جا ۔اندھا دھند
tabtheeran
ب ذ ر
بذر تَبْذِيرًا ٢٦

أتى قرُب حَقَّ مسكن اِبْن سَبَلَ بذر بذر

And give the near relative his rights, the needy, and the travelers, and do not be wasteful squandering.

شَيَطن Satan , Devil , Infernal الشَّيَاطِينِ وَكَانَ And is

كَانَ وَكَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ the Shaitaan

شَيَطن Satan , Devil , Infernal الشَّيْطَانُ لِرَبِّهِۦ to his Lord

نہایت ناشکرا

كَفَرَ كَفُورًا ٢٧

بذر كَانَ أ خو شَيَطن كَانَ شَيَطن رَبَّ كَفَرَ

Those who waste are brothers of the shaitan, and shaitan has been ungrateful for his Rabb.

جس کی تو امید رکھتا ہے

رجأ Postpone , Differ تَرْجُوهَا فَقُل then say
پس توکہہ دے

قَالَ فَقُل لَّهُمْ to them
لیے ان کے

NA لَّهُمْ قَوْلًا a word

نرمی کے ۔سلجھے ہوئے

عَرُضَ بغى رَحِمَ رَبَّ رجأ قَالَ قَالَ يَسَرَ

And if you (need to) turn away from them seeking (hoping) the mercy of your Rabb that you desire, and then (at least) say to them easy words (be kind and respectful if you cannot afford to give charity while waiting to receive means from Allah to give charity).

لَامَ مَلُومًا مَّحْسُورًا insolvent

حَسَرَ Grieved , Distressed , Regret مَّحْسُورًا ٢٩

جعل يدي غَلَّ عَنِقَ بسط كُلّ بسط قَعَدَ لَامَ حَسَرَ

And do not make your hands chained to your neck, nor spread all that extensive, then you will sit as blamed, regretting (end up liable and regretful).

بصُر See , Eyes, Eyesight, Understand بَصِيرًا ٣٠

رَبَّ بسط رَزَقَ شِاءَ قدر كَانَ عَبَدَ خَبَرَ بصُر

Indeed, your Rabb spreads the provisions of life to whomever He desires, and He (provides) measures. Certainly, He is Fully Informed, All-Seeing of His slaves.

And do not kill your children due to fear of poverty. We provide provisions of life to them and you; indeed, killing them is a great offense.

سَا ءَ Bad , Evil , Unfortunate وَسَآءَ سَبِيلًا way
راستہ

سَبَلَ Way , Road , Access , Way سَبِيلًا ٣٢

قرُب زَنَى كَانَ فَحُشَ سَا ءَ سَبَلَ

And do not get close to the fornication. That is an obscenity and evil path.

قَتَلَ نفُس حَرُمَ إِلَٰه حَقَّ قَتَلَ ظَلَمَ جعل وَلِيَ سُلَط سَرَف قَتَلَ كَانَ نَصَرَ

And do not kill the soul that is prohibited except with justification (by Justice of Lawful Authority). And whoever gets killed due to injustice, then We have made his in-charge an authority. But do not exceed the boundaries of killing, for he is helped.

قرُب مَال يتم حَسَنَ بلغ شَدَّ وَفَى عَهِدَ عَهِدَ كَانَ سأل

And do not get close to (benefit yourself from) the property (possessions) of orphans except with better (good intentions) until they reach adulthood. You shall fulfill the promise, indeed, (because) the promise will be questioned (requires responsibility).

قَامَ الْمُسْتَقِيمِ ذَٰلِكَ That

NA ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ (is) good
بہت بہتر ہے

خَيرَ Choose , Good , Charity , Prefer خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ and best
اور بہت ہی اچھا ہے

حَسَنَ Good , Beautiful , Nice وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًا (in) result

اول تَأْوِيلًا ٣٥

وَفَى كال كال وزن قسط قَامَ خَيرَ حَسَنَ اول

And redeem the scale when you measure and weigh with a straight balance. That is a good thing and a better explanation (the basis of business rules).

And do not follow (track) that you do not have any (use of) knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the seeing, and the hearts, all of those, will be questioned.

پہاڑوں کی

مَشَى فِي أَ رَضْ مرح خَرَقَ أَ رَضْ بلغ جبل طَالَ

And do not walk in the earth rejoicing. Indeed, you will never pierce through the ground, nor will you attain as tall mountains.

كُلّ كَانَ سَا ءَ عَنَدَ رَبَّ مَكَرَ

All of these (acts) are disliked (hateful) by your Rabb.

NA جَهَنَّمَ مَلُومًا blameworthy
ملامت زدہ

لَامَ مَلُومًا مَّدْحُورًا abandoned
ترک کیا و دھتکارہ ہوا
madhooran
د ح ر
دَحَرَ Drive Away , Repel , Remove مَّدْحُورًا ٣٩

وَحَى رَبَّ حَكَمَ جعل إِله إِله أخر لقِي فِي لَامَ دَحَرَ

These are among what your Rabb has revealed to you as wisdom. And do not make others like a god with Allah, or you will be thrown into Hell, blamed, and driven away.

17:40

أَفَأَصْفَاكُمْ Then has chosen (for) you?

صَفَا أَفَأَصْفَاكُمْ رَبُّكُم your Lord
تمہارےرب نے

رَبَّ رَبُّكُم بِالْبَنِينَ sons
بیٹوں کاساتھ

اِبْن Son , Descendant , Man , Human Being , بِالْبَنِينَ وَاتَّخَذَ and He has taken

NA مِنَ الْمَلَآئِكَةِ the Angels

بیٹیاں

أ ن ث
أَنُثَ Feminine, Female, Women , إِنَاثًا إِنَّكُمْ Indeed you
بیشک تم
innakum

NA إِنَّكُمْ لَتَقُولُونَ surely say
البتہ کہتے ہوتم
lataqooloona
ق و ل
قَالَ لَتَقُولُونَ قَوْلًا a word
بات
qawlan
ق و ل
قَالَ قَوْلًا عَظِيمًا grave

AAatheeman
ع ظ م
عَظُمَ عَظِيمًا ٤٠

صَفَا رَبَّ اِبْن أَخَذَ ملك أَنُثَ قَالَ قَالَ عَظُمَ

Has your Rabb selected sons for you while choosing daughters (for Himself) among the angels? You indeed say a terrible thing.

17:41

وَلَقَدْ And verily
اور البتہ حقیقت میں
Walaqad

NA وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا We have explained

فِي فِى هَٰذَا this

NA هَٰذَا الْقُرْاٰنِ the Quran
قرآن کے

قَرَأَ الْقُرْاٰنِ لِيَذَّكَّرُواْ that they may take heed

liyaththakkaroo
ذ ك ر
ذَكّرَ لِيَذَّكَّرُواْ وَمَا but not
لیکن نہیں
wama

NA وَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ it increases them
بڑھتی ان کی
yazeeduhum
ز ي د
زَادَ Supply , Provision , Contractor يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلَّا except
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّا نُفُورًا (in) aversion
نفرت ہی
nufooran
ن ف ر
نَفَرَ نُفُورًا ٤١

صَرَفَ فِي قَرَأَ ذَكّرَ زَادَ نَفَرَ

And indeed, We have caused (turned to have your attention) in this the Quran, for you to remember, but it only increases an aversion for them (non-believers).

17:42

قُل Say

ساتھ اس(اللہ)کے

NA مَعَهُۥٓ اٰلِهَةٌ gods
(دوسرے)معبود

إِله god اٰلِهَةٌ كَمَا as
جیسا کہ
kama

NA كَمَا يَقُولُونَ they say

قَالَ يَقُولُونَ إِذًا then

NA إِذًا لَّابْتَغَوْاْ surely they (would) have sought

بغى لَّابْتَغَوْاْ إِلَىٰ to

NA إِلَىٰ ذِى (the) Owner
مالک
thee
ذ ا ت
ذُو Possessor , Power , Provided ذِى الْعَرْشِ (of) the Throne
عرش کے
alAAarshi
ع ر ش
عَرَشَ Erect , Throne , Shaft الْعَرْشِ سَبِيلًا a way
کوئی راستہ ۔ کوئی راہ
sabeelan
س ب ل
سَبَلَ Way , Road , Access , Way سَبِيلًا ٤٢

قَالَ كَانَ إِله قَالَ بغى ذُو عَرَشَ سَبَلَ

Say, “If there had been gods with Him like they say, they would have sought a path to reach the Throne (of Allah).”

17:43

سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ Glorified is He
بالکل پاک ہے وہ (اللہ)
Subhanahu
س ب ح
سبح سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَالَىٰ and Exalted is He
اور بلندو برتر
wataAAala
ع ل و
عَلَا وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا above what
اوپر اس کےجو
AAamma

NA عَمَّا يَقُولُونَ they say
کہتے ہیں وہ(مشرک)
yaqooloona
ق و ل
قَالَ يَقُولُونَ عُلُوًّا (by) height

AAuluwwan
ع ل و
عَلَا عُلُوًّا كَبِيرًا great
انتہائی بڑاہے
kabeeran
ك ب ر
كَبَرَ كَبِيرًا ٤٣

سبح عَلَا قَالَ عَلَا كَبَرَ

All praise belongs to Him. He is exalted high above what they say.

17:44

تُسَبِّحُ Glorify

Tusabbihu

سبح تُسَبِّحُ لَهُ [to] Him

سما السَّمَاوَاتُ السَّبْعُ the seven

سَبْع Predatory , Seven السَّبْعُ وَالْأَرْضُ and the earth
اور زمین

أ ر ض
أَ رَضْ Land, Area, Region , Earth , Country وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَن and whatever
اورجو کوئی
waman

NA وَمَن فِيهِنَّ (is) in them
ہےان میں
feehinna

فِي فِيهِنَّ وَإِن And (there is) not
اور نہیں ہے
wain

NA وَإِن مِّن any
کوئی بھی
min

NA مِّن شَىْءٍ thing
چیز
shayin
ش ي أ
شِاءَ شَىْءٍ إِلَّا except
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّا يُسَبِّحُ glorifies
تسبیح بیان کرتی ہے

سبح يُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِهِۦ His Praise
ساتھ اس کی تعریف کے

حَمِدَ Praise , Commend , thanks بِحَمْدِهِۦ وَلَٰكِن but

NA وَلَٰكِن لَّا not
نہیں

NA لَّا تَفْقَهُونَ you understand
سمجھ تمہیں

فَقِهَ تَفْقَهُونَ تَسْبِيحَهُمْ their glorification
ان کی تسبیح کی
tasbeehahum

سبح تَسْبِيحَهُمْ إِنَّهُۥ Indeed He
بیشک وہ
innahu

NA إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ is
ہے
kana
ك و ن
كَانَ كَانَ حَلِيمًا Ever-Forbearing

حَلَمَ حَلِيمًا غَفُورًا Oft-Forgiving
بہت بخشنے والا
ghafooran
غ ف ر
غفر غَفُورًا ٤٤

سبح سما سَبْع أَ رَضْ فِي شِاءَ سبح حَمِدَ فَقِهَ سبح كَانَ حَلَمَ غفر

Praising Him are the seven skies, the earth, and whatever (whoever) is in them. Everything glorifies Him with praise, but you do not comprehend their praises. Indeed, He is Gentle and Most Forgiving.

17:45

وَإِذَا And when

NA وَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ you recite

قَرَأَ الْقُراٰنَ جَعَلْنَا We place
بنادیتے ہیں ہم

جعل Make , Create, Bring, Give, Grant, جَعَلْنَا بَيْنَكَ between you
تیرے درمیان

ب ي ن
بَا نَ Evident , Between بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ and between
اور درمیان
wabayna
ب ي ن
بَا نَ Evident , Between وَبَيْنَ الَّذِينَ those who
ان لوگوں کے جو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ لَا (do) not
نہیں
la

NA لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ believe
وہ ایمان لاتے
yuminoona
أ م ن
أمُن يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْاَٰخِرَةِ in the Hereafter
آخرت میں
bialakhirati
أ خ ر
أخر Last , Recent , Another , Postpone بِالْاَٰخِرَةِ حِجَابًا a barrier
ایک پردہ
hijaban
ح ج ب
حَجَبَ Veil , Screen , Conceal حِجَابًا مَّسْتُورًا hidden
پوشیدہ ۔ چھپا ہوا
mastooran
س ت ر
سَتَرَ Cover , Veil , Hide , Protect مَّسْتُورًا ٤٥

قَرَأَ قَرَأَ جعل بَا نَ بَا نَ أمُن أخر حَجَبَ سَتَرَ

When you recite the Quran, We make a hidden screen between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter.

17:46

وَجَعَلْنَا And We have placed

جعل Make , Create, Bring, Give, Grant, وَجَعَلْنَا عَلَىٰ over

NA عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ their hearts
ان کے دلوں
quloobihim
ق ل ب
قلب قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً coverings
پوشاک ۔ پردہ
akinnatan
ك ن ن
كنّ أَكِنَّةً أَن lest

NA أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ they understand it
وہ اسے سمجھ لیں
yafqahoohu
ف ق ه
فَقِهَ يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِىٓ and in
اوربیچ
wafee

NA وَفِىٓ اٰذَانِهِمْ their ears
ان کے کانوں
athanihim
أ ذ ن
أَذن اٰذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا deafness
بہرا پن
waqran
و ق ر
وَقَرَ وَقْرًا وَإِذَا And when
اور جب
waitha

NA وَإِذَا ذَكَرْتَ you mention
توذکر کرتا ہے

ذَكّرَ ذَكَرْتَ رَبَّكَ your Lord
تیرےرب کا
rabbaka
ر ب ب
رَبَّ رَبَّكَ فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى الْقُرْاٰنِ the Quran
قرآن

ق ر أ
قَرَأَ الْقُرْاٰنِ وَحْدَهُۥ Alone
تنہا واکیلے اسی کا
wahdahu
و ح د
أحد One, Unity, Oneness, وَحْدَهُۥ وَلَّوْاْ they turn
بدکتےپھرتے ہیں وہ
wallaw
و ل ي
وَلِيَ وَلَّوْاْ عَلَىٰٓ on
اوپر
AAala

NA عَلَىٰٓ أَدْبَارِهِمْ their backs
ان کی پیٹھوں کے
adbarihim
د ب ر
دبر أَدْبَارِهِمْ نُفُورًا (in) aversion
نفرت میں
nufooran
ن ف ر
نَفَرَ نُفُورًا ٤٦

جعل قلب كنّ فَقِهَ أَذن وَقَرَ ذَكّرَ رَبَّ فِي قَرَأَ أحد وَلِيَ دبر نَفَرَ

And We made a hidden cover on their hearts that (prevent) them from comprehending and hard hearing in their ears. And when you mention your Rabb Only One in the Quran, they turn their backs in aversion.

17:47

نَّحْنُ We
ہم
Nahnu

NA نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ know best
سب جانتے ہیں

علِم أَعْلَمُ بِمَا [of] what
ساتھ اس کےجو

NA بِمَا يَسْتَمِعُونَ they listen
وہ غورسےسنتے ہیں

سَمَعَ Hear , Listen , Pay Attention يَسْتَمِعُونَ بِهِۦٓ to [it]
ساتھ اس (نیت)کے
bihi

NA بِهِۦٓ إِذْ when
جب

NA إِذْ يَسْتَمِعُونَ they listen
وہ کان لگاتے ہیں

س م ع
سَمَعَ Hear , Listen , Pay Attention يَسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَيْكَ to you
تیری طرف

NA إِلَيْكَ وَإِذْ and when
اور جب
waith

NA وَإِذْ هُمْ they
وہ
hum

NA هُمْ نَجْوَىٰٓ (are) in private conversation

نَجَا نَجْوَىٰٓ إِذْ when

NA إِذْ يَقُولُ say
کہتے ہیں وہ

قَالَ يَقُولُ الظَّالِمُونَ the wrongdoers

ظَلَمَ الظَّالِمُونَ إِن Not
نہیں

NA إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ you follow
تم پیروی کرتے
tattabiAAoona

تبِع تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا but
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّا رَجُلًا a man
آدمی
rajulan
ر ج ل
رَجِلَ Walk , Foot , Manhood رَجُلًا مَّسْحُورًا bewitched

mashooran
س ح ر
سَحَرَ Magic , Charm , Daybreak مَّسْحُورًا ٤٧

علِم سَمَعَ سَمَعَ نَجَا قَالَ ظَلَمَ تبِع رَجِلَ سَحَرَ

We know best (all) about what they listen to when they listen to you, as they secretly have a confidential talk, when the cruel say, “Will you follow a man possessed, (controlled by some powerful emotion, spirit, etc..).”

انظُرْ See
دیکھ لے!

نَظَرَ انظُرْ كَيْفَ how?
کیسے؟

كَيدَ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُواْ they put forth
وہ بیان کرتے ہیں

ضَرَبَ ضَرَبُواْ لَكَ for you
تیرے لیے

NA لَكَ الْأَمْثَالَ the examples
مثالیں

مَثَلَ الْأَمْثَالَ فَضَلُّواْ but they have gone astray
پس گمراہ ہو چکےوہ
fadalloo
ض ل ل
فَضَلَ فَضَلُّواْ فَلَا so not
لہٰذا نہیں
fala

NA فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعْونَ they can

yastateeAAoona
ط و ع
طَاعَ Obedient , Voluntary , Obey يَسْتَطِيعْونَ سَبِيلًا (find) a way
راستہ(سیدھا)
sabeelan
س ب ل
سَبَلَ Way , Road , Access , Way سَبِيلًا ٤٨

نَظَرَ كَيدَ ضَرَبَ مَثَلَ فَضَلَ طَاعَ سَبَلَ

Look how they make an example for you. So, they have lost their way, and they are not capable of finding a path.

وَقَالُواْ And they say
اور کہتے ہیں وہ

قَالَ وَقَالُواْ أَئِذَا Is it when?
کیا ہے یہ جب؟

ہم ہو جائیں گے

عَظُمَ عِظَامًا وَّرُفَاتًا and crumbled particles
اور چورا چورا

وَّرُفَاتًا أَءِنَّا will we?
کیابیشک ہم؟

NA أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ surely (be) resurrected

بعث لَمَبْعُوثُونَ خَلْقًا (as) a creation
(جیسے)پیدائش

خَلَقَ خَلْقًا جَدِيدًا new
نئی ۔ جدید

جدّ جَدِيدًا ٤٩

قَالَ كَانَ عَظُمَ بعث خَلَقَ جدّ

And they say, “When we have become bones and corpse remains, are we going to be raised as a new creation?”

قَالَ كَانَ حَجَر حَدَّ

Say, “Even if you become stones or iron.”

أَوْ Or

NA أَوْ خَلْقًا a creation
(اور)کوئی مخلوق

خَلَقَ خَلْقًا مِّمَّا of what
اس میں سے جو

NA مِّمَّا يَكْبُرُ (is) great
بہت بڑی ہو
yakburu
ك ب ر
كَبَرَ يَكْبُرُ فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى صُدُورِكُمْ your breasts
سینوں کے گمان تمہارے
sudoorikum
ص د ر
صدر صُدُورِكُمْ فَسَيَقُولُونَ Then they will say

fasayaqooloona
ق و ل
قَالَ فَسَيَقُولُونَ مَن Who?
کون؟
man

NA مَن يُعِيدُنَا will restore us
ہمیں دوبارہ لوٹائے گا
yuAAeeduna
ع و د
عاد Visit , Return , come back, يُعِيدُنَا قُلِ Say
کہہ دے

قَالَ قُلِ الَّذِى He Who
وہ جس نے
allathee

NA الَّذِى فَطَرَكُمْ created you
تمہیں پیدا کیا

فَطَرَ فَطَرَكُمْ أَوَّلَ (the) first

أ و ل
اول أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ time
بار ۔ دفعہ

مرّ مَرَّةٍ فَسَيُنْغِضُونَ Then they will shake

NF فَسَيُنْغِضُونَ إِلَيْكَ at you

NA إِلَيْكَ رُءُوسَهُمْ their heads
(ہلاتے)سروں کو ان کے

رَأَسَ Head , Chief , Leader , Cape رُءُوسَهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ and they say
اور وہ کہیں گے
wayaqooloona
ق و ل
قَالَ وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ When (will) ?
کب (آئے گی)؟

NA هُوَ قُلْ Say
کہہ دے

قَالَ قُلْ عَسَىٰٓ Perhaps

NA أَن يَكُونَ (it) will be
ہووہ

كَانَ يَكُونَ قَرِيبًا soon
قریب ہی
qareeban
ق ر ب
قرُب قَرِيبًا ٥١

خَلَقَ كَبَرَ فِي صدر قَالَ عاد قَالَ فَطَرَ اول مرّ NF رَأَسَ قَالَ قَالَ عَسَى كَانَ قرُب

Or a creation, from what is bigger, in your hearts.” Then they will say, “Who will return us?” Say, “The One who has given you the natural disposition the first time.” Then they will shake their heads at you and say, “When will it be?” Say, “Perhaps it will happen soon.”

17:52

يَوْمَ (On) the Day

يوْم يَوْمَ يَدْعُوكُمْ He will call you

دَعَا call , Prayer , Spread يَدْعُوكُمْ فَتَسْتَجِيبُونَ and you will respond

اورگمان کرو گے تم

NA إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ you had remained
رہے (دنیا میں)تم

لبِث لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلَّا except
مگر

NA إِلَّا قَلِيلًا a little (while)
تھوڑی سی دیر
qaleelan
ق ل ل
قَلَّ قَلِيلًا ٥٢

يوْم دَعَا جاب حَمِدَ ظَنَّ لبِث قَلَّ

On the Day when He will summon you, you will respond with His praise, and you will speculate that you stayed (in this world) for a short (time).

میرےبندوں کے لیے

NA إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ the Shaitaan
شیطان(اسی کہنے پر)

شَيَطن Satan , Devil , Infernal الشَّيْطَانَ يَنزَغُ sows discord

NA إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ the Shaitaan

انسان کےلیے

عدا عَدُوًّا مُّبِينًا clear

بَا نَ Evident , Between مُّبِينًا ٥٣

قَالَ عَبَدَ قَالَ حَسَنَ شَيَطن زَاغَ بَا نَ شَيَطن كَانَ أَنِسَ عدا بَا نَ

Tell My slaves to speak what are best (words). Indeed, shaitan puts discord among them. Certainly, shaitan is a clearly manifested enemy of humankind.

17:54

رَّبُّكُمْ Your Lord
تمہارا رب
Rabbukum
ر ب ب
رَبَّ رَّبُّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ (is) most knowing
بخوبی جانتا ہے

علِم أَعْلَمُ بِكُمْ of you
ساتھ تمہارے
bikum

NA بِكُمْ إِن If
اگر

NA إِن يَشَأْ He wills
وہ چاہے

ش ي أ
شِاءَ يَشَأْ يَرْحَمْكُمْ He will have mercy on you
رحم کرے تم پر

رَحِمَ Merciful , Compassionate يَرْحَمْكُمْ أَوْ or

NA أَوْ إِن if
اگر

NA إِن يَشَأْ He wills
وہ چاہے
yasha
ش ي أ
شِاءَ يَشَأْ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ He will punish you
وہ تمہیں سزا دے
yuAAaththibkum
ع ذ ب
عَذُبَ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ وَمَآ And not
اور نہیں
wama

NA وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَاكَ We have sent you
ہم نےبھیجا تجھے
arsalnaka
ر س ل
رَسِلَ أَرْسَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ over them
اوپر ان کے
AAalayhim

NA عَلَيْهِمْ وَكِيلًا (as) a guardian
ذمے دار۔داروغہ
wakeelan
و ك ل
وَكَلَ وَكِيلًا ٥٤

رَبَّ علِم شِاءَ رَحِمَ شِاءَ عَذُبَ رَسِلَ وَكَلَ

Your Rabb knows the best about you. If He desires, He will have mercy on you; if He wishes, He will punish you. And We did not send you on them as an in-charge (defense counselor).

17:55

وَرَبُّكَ And your Lord
اور تیرا رب

رَبَّ وَرَبُّكَ أَعْلَمُ (is) most knowing

فِي فِى السَّمَاوَاتِ the heavens

سما السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ and the earth
اور زمین کے

أَ رَضْ Land, Area, Region , Earth , Country وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَقَدْ And verily
اور البتہ حقیقت میں

NA وَلَقَدْ فَضَّلْنَا We have preferred
ہم نے فضیلت دی

فَضَلَ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَ some
بعض

بَعَضَ Some , Each Other, Mosquito بَعْضَ النَّبِيِّينَ (of) the Prophets

نبأ النَّبِيِّينَ عَلَىٰ to

NA عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ others
بعض کے
baAAdin
ب ع ض
بَعَضَ Some , Each Other, Mosquito بَعْضٍ وَآتَيْنَا And We gave
اورعطا فرما ئی ہم نے
waatayna
أ ت ي
أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, وَآتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ Dawood
داؤدؑ کو
dawooda

NA دَاوُۥدَ زَبُورًا Zaboor
زبور
zabooran
ز ب ر
زُبْر Psalms زَبُورًا ٥٥

رَبَّ علِم فِي سما أَ رَضْ فَضَلَ بَعَضَ نبأ بَعَضَ أتى زُبْر

And your Rabb knows best who is in the universe and the earth. And indeed, We have given some prophets superiority over others, and We gave David the Psalms.

تم سمجھتے ہو کچھ

زَعَمَ زَعَمْتُم مِّن from

NA مِّن دُونِهِۦ besides Him
علاوہ اس(اللہ)کے

دُون Without , Below , Administrative دُونِهِۦ فَلَا [then] not
پس نہیں

NA فَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ they have power

ملك يَمْلِكُونَ كَشْفَ (to) remove
ہٹانے کا

كَشَفَ كَشْفَ الضُّرِّ the misfortunes
تکلیف ۔ضرر

ضَرَّ الضُّرِّ عَنكُمْ from you
تم سے

NA عَنكُمْ وَلَا and not
اور نہ ہی
wala

NA وَلَا تَحْوِيلًا (to) transfer (it)
(اسے) بدلنے کا
tahweelan
ح و ل
حَالَ Turn , Change , Condition تَحْوِيلًا ٥٦

قَالَ دَعَا زَعَمَ دُون ملك كَشَفَ ضَرَّ حَالَ

"Say, 'Call upon those whom you consider (as your supporters) besides Him.'" They are not capable of removing harm from you, nor can they (even) alter it.

17:57

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those
یہ لوگ
Olaika

NA أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ الَّذِينَ whom
جن سے یہ(مشرک لوگ)
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ they call
دعائیں مانگتے ہیں
yadAAoona
د ع و
دَعَا call , Prayer , Spread يَدْعُونَ يَبْتَغُونَ seek
وہ(خود) تلاش کرتے ہیں
yabtaghoona
ب غ ي
بغى يَبْتَغُونَ إِلَىٰ to
طرف
ila

NA إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمُ their Lord
ان کے رب
rabbihimu
ر ب ب
رَبَّ رَبِّهِمُ الْوَسِيلَةَ the nearness (proximity)
نزدیکی۔قربت
alwaseelata
و س ل
وسل الْوَسِيلَةَ أَيُّهُمْ which of them?

ayyuhum

NA أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ (is) nearest
قریب ترین(اللہ کے)
aqrabu
ق ر ب
قرُب أَقْرَبُ وَيَرْجُونَ and they hope

wayarjoona

رجأ Postpone , Differ وَيَرْجُونَ رَحْمَتَهُۥ (for) His mercy
اس کی رحمت کی

رَحِمَ Merciful , Compassionate رَحْمَتَهُۥ وَيَخَافُونَ and fear
اوروہ ڈرتےرہتے ہیں

خ و ف
خَفَيَ Hidden , Secret , Missing وَيَخَافُونَ عَذَابَهُۥٓ His punishment
عذاب و سزاسے اس کی

عَذُبَ عَذَابَهُۥٓ إِنَّ Indeed

NA إِنَّ عَذَابَ (the) punishment

ڈر کی چیز ۔خوف کی چیز

حَذِرَ Warning , Caution , danger مَحْذُورًا ٥٧

دَعَا بغى رَبَّ وسل قرُب رجأ رَحِمَ خَفَيَ عَذُبَ عَذُبَ رَبَّ كَانَ حَذِرَ

Those who they call on (to help) are themselves seeking a path to their Rabb to get closer to Him, and they desire His mercy and fear His punishment. Indeed, the punishment of your Rabb should be feared.

NA نَحْنُ مُهْلِكُوهَا (will) destroy it
اسے تباہ کردیں گے

NA ذَٰلِكَ فِى in

فِي فِى الْكِتَابِ the Book
کتاب کے

كَتَبَ الْكِتَابِ مَسْطُورًا written
لکھا ہوا
mastooran
س ط ر
سَطَرَ مَسْطُورًا ٥٨

قَرَى هَلَكَ قَبِلَ يوْم قَامَ عَذُبَ عَذُبَ شَدَّ كَانَ فِي كَتَبَ سَطَرَ

There is no town, but We will destroy them before the Day of Standing, or they will be punished severely. That is recorded (written) in the book.

وَمَا And not

NA وَمَا مَنَعَنَآ stopped Us
ہمیں منع کیا

رَسِلَ نُّرْسِلَ بِالْاٰيَاتِ the Signs
ساتھ میں نشانیاں

آ ىي -آية بِالْاٰيَاتِ إِلَّآ except
مگر

NA إِلَّآ أَن that
کہ

NA أَن كَذَّبَ denied
جھٹلایا تھا

كَذَبَ كَذَّبَ بِهَا them
ساتھ اس (طریقے)کے

NA بِهَا الْأَوَّلُونَ the former (people)
پہلے لوگوں نے
alawwaloona
أ و ل
ا و ل الْأَوَّلُونَ وَآتَيْنَا And We gave
اور ہم نے دی تھی
waatayna
أ ت ي
أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, وَآتَيْنَا ثَمُودَ Thamud
ثمود کو
thamooda

NA ثَمُودَ النَّاقَةَ the she-camel
اونٹنی
alnnaqata
ن و ق
نَاقَة She Camel , Choosey النَّاقَةَ مُبْصِرَةً (as) a visible sign
ایک صاف نظر آتی نشانی
mubsiratan
ب ص ر
بصُر See , Eyes, Eyesight, Understand مُبْصِرَةً فَظَلَمُواْ but they wronged
لیکن ظلم کیا انہوں نے
fathalamoo
ظ ل م
ظَلَمَ فَظَلَمُواْ بِهَا her
ساتھ اس کے

NA بِهَا وَمَا And not
اور نہیں
wama

NA وَمَا نُرْسِلُ We send
ہم بھیجتے

رَسِلَ نُرْسِلُ بِالْاٰيَاتِ the Signs
ساتھ میں نشانیاں
bialayati
أ ي ي
آ ىي -آية بِالْاٰيَاتِ إِلَّا except
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّا تَخْوِيفًا (as) a warning
ڈراوے و تنبیہ کے لیے
takhweefan
خ و ف
خَفَيَ Hidden , Secret , Missing تَخْوِيفًا ٥٩

مَنَعَ رَسِلَ آ ىي -آية كَذَبَ ا و ل أتى نَاقَة بصُر ظَلَمَ رَسِلَ آ ىي -آية خَفَيَ

And nothing prevented Us from sending the signs, except that the earlier generations denied these (similar signs). We gave Samoud the she-camel as recognition, but they did injustice to it, and We did not send the signs except as fear.

حَاطَ Guard , Surround , Circle أَحَاطَ بِالنَّاسِ the mankind
ساتھ بنی نوع انسان کے

أَنِسَ بِالنَّاسِ وَمَا And not
اور نہیں

NA وَمَا جَعَلْنَا We made
بنایا ہم نے
jaAAalna

جعل Make , Create, Bring, Give, Grant, جَعَلْنَا الرُّؤيَا the vision

رَأَى الرُّؤيَا الَّتِىٓ which
وہ جو کہ

NA الَّتِىٓ أَرَيْنَاكَ We showed you
دکھایاتھا ہم نے تجھے

رَأَى أَرَيْنَاكَ إِلَّا except
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّا فِتْنَةً (as) a trial
ایک آزمائش
fitnatan
ف ت ن
فَتَنَ فِتْنَةً لِّلنَّاسِ for mankind
بنی نوع انسان کے لیے
lilnnasi
ن و س
أَنِسَ لِّلنَّاسِ وَالشَّجَرَةَ and the tree
اور(ذکر)درخت
waalshshajarata
ش ج ر
شَجَرَ وَالشَّجَرَةَ الْمَلْعُونَةَ the accursed
ملعون کا بھی
almalAAoonata
ل ع ن
لَعَنَ Curse , Damn , Abominable الْمَلْعُونَةَ فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى الْقُرْاٰنِ the Quran
قرآن کے(ایک آزمائش)

قَرَأَ الْقُرْاٰنِ وَنُخَوِّفُهُمْ And We threaten them

wanukhawwifuhum
خ و ف
خَافَ Fear , Scared , Timid وَنُخَوِّفُهُمْ فَمَا but not
لیکن نہیں
fama

NA فَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ it increases them
یہ بڑھاتاان کو
yazeeduhum
ز ي د
زَادَ Supply , Provision , Contractor يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلَّا except
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّا طُغْيَانًا (in) transgression
شرارت و سرکشی میں
tughyanan
ط غ ي
طَغَا طُغْيَانًا كَبِيرًا great
بہت بڑی۔ زبردست
kabeeran
ك ب ر
كَبَرَ كَبِيرًا ٦٠

قَالَ رَبَّ حَاطَ أَنِسَ جعل رَأَى رَأَى فَتَنَ أَنِسَ شَجَرَ لَعَنَ فِي قَرَأَ خَافَ زَادَ طَغَا كَبَرَ

And when We said to you that, indeed, your Rabb had surrounded humankind. And We did not make the vision that We showed you (on the night of ascension) except as a test for the people and the cursed tree (zakhoum tree in hell) in the Quran. We make (it as) fear to them, but it only increases in them a great rage.

17:61

وَإِذْ And when

NA وَإِذْ قُلْنَا We said
ہم نے کہا

قَالَ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَآئِكَةِ to the Angels
فرشتوں کے لیے

ملك لِلْمَلَآئِكَةِ اسْجُدُواْ Prostrate
سجدہ کرو تم
osjudoo
س ج د
سَجَدَ Bow down , Prostrate , Worship اسْجُدُواْ لِآدَمَ to Adam
لیے آدمؑ
liadama

NA لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُواْ So they prostrated
تو انہوں نے سجدہ کیا
fasajadoo
س ج د
سَجَدَ Bow down , Prostrate , Worship فَسَجَدُواْ إِلَّآ except
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ Iblis
ابلیس
ibleesa

NA إِبْلِيسَ قَالَ He said
کہنےلگا

ق و ل
قَالَ قَالَ ءَأَسْجُدُ Shall I prostrate?
کیا میں سجدہ کروں؟

سَجَدَ Bow down , Prostrate , Worship ءَأَسْجُدُ لِمَنْ to (one) whom
لیے اس کے جس کو
liman

NA لِمَنْ خَلَقْتَ You created
پیدا کیا تو نے
khalaqta

خَلَقَ خَلَقْتَ طِينًا (from) clay
مٹی سے
teenan
ط ي ن
طِيِن Clay , Soil , Mud , Basis طِينًا ٦١

قَالَ ملك سَجَدَ سَجَدَ قَالَ سَجَدَ خَلَقَ طِيِن

And when We told the angels, “Prostrate for Adam,” they prostrated except Iblis. He said, “Shall I bow to whom you have created from mud?”

قَالَ He said
اس (ابلیس )نے کہا

قَالَ قَالَ أَرَأَيْتَكَ Do You see?

اوپر میرے

NA عَلَىَّ لَئِنْ If
البتہ اگر

NA لَئِنْ أَخَّرْتَنِ You give me respite
تو مجھے مہلت دیدے
akhkhartani
أ خ ر
أ خو أَخَّرْتَنِ إِلَىٰ till
تک
ila

NA إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ (the) Day
دن
yawmi
ي و م
يوْم يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ (of) the Resurrection
قیامت کے
alqiyamati
ق و م
قَامَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَأَحْتَنِكَنَّ I will surely destroy

NF لَأَحْتَنِكَنَّ ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥٓ his offspring
اس کی اولاد کو
thurriyyatahu
ذ ر ر
ذَرَّ ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥٓ إِلَّا except
سوائے
illa

NA إِلَّا قَلِيلًا a few
بہت تھوڑوں کے
qaleelan
ق ل ل
قَلَّ قَلِيلًا ٦٢

قَالَ رَأَى كَرُمَ أ خو يوْم قَامَ NF ذَرَّ قَلَّ

He (Iblis) said, “Do you see this that you have given more honor over me (to bow down)? If you delay (punishment) for me up to the Day of Standing, I will scrape off his progeny, except a few.”

ان میں سے
minhum

NA مِنْهُمْ فَإِنَّ then indeed
تو بیشک
fainna

NA فَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ Hell
جہنم ہی
jahannama

NA جَهَنَّمَ جَزَآؤُكُمْ (is) your recompense
تمہاری سزا ہو گی
jazaokum
ج ز ي
جَزَى جَزَآؤُكُمْ جَزَآءً a recompense
بدلہ و سزا (بھی)
jazaan
ج ز ي
جَزَى جَزَآءً مَّوْفُورًا ample
کافی ۔ بھرپور
mawfooran
و ف ر
وَفَرَ مَّوْفُورًا ٦٣

قَالَ ذهب تبِع جَزَى جَزَى وَفَرَ

He (Allah) said, “Begone! (Go Ahead) Whoever follows you among them, Hell will be their reward, a reward in abundance.”

وَاسْتَفْزِزْ And incite
اور بہکا لے
Waistafziz
ف ز ز
فَزَّ Jump up , Start , Excite , Incite وَاسْتَفْزِزْ مَنِ whoever
جس کسی کو بھی

NA مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ you can

istataAAta
ط و ع
طَاعَ Obedient , Voluntary , Obey اسْتَطَعْتَ مِنْهُم among them
ان میں سے
minhum

NA مِنْهُم بِصَوْتِكَ with your voice
تیری آواز کے ساتھ
bisawtika
ص و ت
صَاتَ بِصَوْتِكَ وَأَجْلِبْ and assault
اور چڑھا دے تو
waajlib
ج ل ب
جلب Attract , Draw , Get , Procure , وَأَجْلِبْ عَلَيْهِم [on] them
اوپر ان کے
AAalayhim

NA عَلَيْهِم بِخَيْلِكَ with your cavalry
ساتھ تیرے گھڑسوار
bikhaylika
خ ي ل
خال Maternal Uncle , Mole, Aunt, Supervisor بِخَيْلِكَ وَرَجِلِكَ and infantry
اورتیرے پیادے
warajlika
ر ج ل
رَجِلَ Walk , Foot , Manhood وَرَجِلِكَ وَشَارِكْهُمْ and be a partner
اورشریک ہو جا ان کے
washarikhum
ش ر ك
شَرِكَ وَشَارِكْهُمْ فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى الْأَمْوَالِ the wealth
اموال
alamwali
م و ل
مَال الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَوْلادِ and the children
اور اولاد
waalawladi
و ل د
وَلَدَ وَالْأَوْلادِ وَعِدْهُمْ and promise them
اور تووعدے کران سے
waAAidhum
و ع د
عدا وَعِدْهُمْ وَمَا And not
اور نہیں
wama

NA وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ promises them
وعدہ کرتا ہے ان سے
yaAAiduhumu
و ع د
وَعَدَ يَعِدُهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ the Shaitaan
شیطان
alshshaytanu

شَيَطن Satan , Devil , Infernal الشَّيْطَانُ إِلَّا except

دھوکےفریب کا

غَرَّ غُرُورًا ٦٤

فَزَّ طَاعَ صَاتَ جلب خال رَجِلَ شَرِكَ فِي مَال وَلَدَ عدا وَعَدَ شَيَطن غَرَّ

“And incite, whomever you have the ability over them with your voice, and attract them with your cavalry (horse rider) and infantry (foot soldiers) and become a partner with them in their wealth and their children and make promises to them.” And (but) what Shaitan promises them is only a deception (makes false promises).

NA لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ over them

NA عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ any authority
کوئی غلبہ
sultanun
س ل ط
سُلَط سُلْطَانٌ وَكَفَىٰ And sufficient
اور کافی ہے
wakafa
ك ف ي
كفى وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ (is) your Lord
ساتھ میں رب تیرا
birabbika
ر ب ب
رَبَّ بِرَبِّكَ وَكِيلًا (as) a Guardian
بطور کارساز
wakeelan
و ك ل
وَكَلَ وَكِيلًا ٦٥

عَبَدَ لَيْسَ سُلَط كفى رَبَّ وَكَلَ

“As for My slaves, you do not have any control over them.” Your Rabb is a Sufficient Trustee.

17:66

رَّبُّكُمُ Your Lord

تاکہ تلاش کروتم

بغى لِتَبْتَغُواْ مِن of

NA مِن فَضْلِهِۦٓ His Bounty
اس کےفضل

فَضَلَ فَضْلِهِۦٓ إِنَّهُۥ Indeed He
بیشک وہ
innahu

NA إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ is
ہے
kana
ك و ن
كَانَ كَانَ بِكُمْ to you
تمہارے ساتھ
bikum

NA بِكُمْ رَحِيمًا Ever Merciful
نہایت رحم کرنے والا
raheeman
ر ح م
رَحِمَ Merciful , Compassionate رَحِيمًا ٦٦

رَبَّ مَزَجَ فَلَكَ فِي بَحَرَ بغى فَضَلَ كَانَ رَحِمَ

Your Rabb is the One who drives the ships for you in the ocean so that you seek His bounty. He is Ever Merciful to you.

NA مَن تَدْعُونَ you call
دعائیں مانگتے ہو تم

دَعَا call , Prayer , Spread تَدْعُونَ إِلَّآ except

NA إِلَّآ إِيَّاهُ Him Alone
اسی ایک (اللہ)کے

NA إِيَّاهُ فَلَمَّا But when

NA فَلَمَّا نَجَّاكُمْ He delivers you
وہ نجات دیتا ہے تمہیں

نَجَا نَجَّاكُمْ إِلَى to

NA إِلَى الْبَرِّ the land
خشکی کے

بَرَّ Dutiful , Devoted الْبَرِّ أَعْرَضْتُمْ you turn away

عَرُضَ أَعْرَضْتُمْ وَكَانَ And is
اور ہے

كَانَ وَكَانَ الْإِنْسَانُ man
انسان

أ ن س
أَنِسَ الْإِنْسَانُ كَفُورًا ungrateful
بہت ناشکرا
kafooran
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ كَفُورًا ٦٧

مسّ ضَرَّ فِي بَحَرَ ضلّ دَعَا نَجَا بَرَّ عَرُضَ كَانَ أَنِسَ كَفَرَ

When harm touches you in the ocean, all those you used to call besides (other than) Him are lost. However, when He saves you on land, You turn away, and the humans have been ungrateful.

17:68

أَفَأَمِنتُمْ Do you then feel secure?

أمُن أَفَأَمِنتُمْ أَن that (not)

NA عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًا a storm of stones

حَصَبَ Cover with Pebbles , Gravel حَاصِبًا ثُمَّ Then
پھر
thumma

NA ثُمَّ لَا not
نہیں

NA لَا تَجِدُواْ you will find
تم پاؤ گے

وَجَدَ تَجِدُواْ لَكُمْ for you
تمہارے لیے
lakum

NA لَكُمْ وَكِيلًا a guardian

wakeelan

وَكَلَ وَكِيلًا ٦٨

أمُن خَسَفَ جَنَبَ بَرَّ رَسِلَ حَصَبَ وَجَدَ وَكَلَ

Have you become peaceful (and secure) that He will not sink you in the side of the land (as in sinkholes), or He will send gravel on you, and then you will not find a dependent (trustee)?

أَمْ Or

Am

NA أَمْ أَمِنتُمْ do you feel secure?

رَسِلَ فَيُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ upon you
اوپر تمہارے

NA عَلَيْكُمْ قَاصِفا a hurricane
ایک سمندری طوفان

NA مِّنَ الرِّيحِ the wind

رَاحَ الرِّيحِ فَيُغْرِقَكُم and drown you
اور تمہیں غرق کردے

غرِق فَيُغْرِقَكُم بِمَا because
بسبب اس کےجو

NA بِمَا كَفَرْتُمْ you disbelieved
تم نےکفرکیا
kafartum
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ كَفَرْتُمْ ثُمَّ Then
پھر
thumma

NA ثُمَّ لَا not
نہیں
la

NA لَا تَجِدُواْ you will find
تم پاؤ گے
tajidoo
و ج د
وَجَدَ تَجِدُواْ لَكُمْ for you
تمہارے لیے
lakum

NA لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا against Us
اوپر ہمارے
AAalayna

NA عَلَيْنَا بِهِۦ therein
ساتھ میں اس (مشکل)
bihi

NA بِهِۦ تَبِيعًا an avenger
کوئی پیچھا کرنے والا
tabeeAAan
ت ب ع
بَا عَ Sell , Transaction تَبِيعًا ٦٩

آمن عاد فِي تَارَةً أخر رَسِلَ NF رَاحَ غرِق كَفَرَ وَجَدَ بَا عَ

Or have you become peaceful and secure that He will not return you another time, and He will send storming winds to you and drown you because of what you have been ungrateful about? Then you will not find for you against Us, a follower. (We will pursue any wrongdoing on your part since no one else will be there to seek help against Us).

وَلَقَدْ And certainly
اور البتہ حقیقت میں

NA وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا We have honored
ہم نے بہت عزت دی ہے

اِبْن Son , Descendant , Man , Human Being , بَنِىٓ اٰدَمَ Adam

NA اٰدَمَ وَحَمَلْنَاهُمْ and We carried them

حَمَلَ carry , Loaded , Bear وَحَمَلْنَاهُمْ فِى on
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى الْبَرِّ the land
خشک زمین

ب ر ر
بَرَّ Dutiful , Devoted الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ and the sea
اور دریا وسمندر میں
waalbahri
ب ح ر
بَحَرَ Sea , Ocean , Large River وَالْبَحْرِ وَرَزَقْنَاهُم and We have provided them
اور ہم نے رزق دیاان کو
warazaqnahum
ر ز ق
رَزَقَ وَرَزَقْنَاهُم مِّنَ of
میں سے
mina

NA مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ the good things
پاکیزہ چیزوں
alttayyibati
ط ي ب
طَابَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَفَضَّلْنَاهُمْ and We preferred them

فَضَلَ وَفَضَّلْنَاهُمْ عَلَىٰ over

AAala

NA عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍ many
بہت ساروں کے
katheerin

كَثَرَ Many , Numerous , More , Multiply كَثِيرٍ مِّمَّنْ of those whom
ان میں سےجن کو
mimman

NA مِّمَّنْ خَلَقْنَا We have created
ہم نے پیدا کیا ہے
khalaqna
خ ل ق
خَلَقَ خَلَقْنَا تَفْضِيلًا (with) preference
(ساتھ)بڑی فضیلت کے
tafdeelan
ف ض ل
فَضَلَ تَفْضِيلًا ٧٠

كَرُمَ اِبْن حَمَلَ فِي بَرَّ بَحَرَ رَزَقَ طَابَ فَضَلَ كَثَرَ خَلَقَ فَضَلَ

Indeed, We have been generous to the Children of Adam and carried (spread) them in the land and sea. And We provided them with good sustenance (livelihood) from the pure and clean (food), and We preferred them over many among what We have created as a superior (creation).

پھر جو کوئی کہ

NA فَمَنْ أُوتِىَ is given
دی گئی

أ ت ي
أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, أُوتِىَ كِتَابَهُۥ his record
اس کی کتاب
kitabahu
ك ت ب
كَتَبَ كِتَابَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِ in his right hand

biyameenihi
ي م ن
يَمَنَ بِيَمِينِهِ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ then those
پس یہ لوگ
faolaika

NA فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ يَقْرَءُونَ will read
وہ پڑھیں گے
yaqraoona
ق ر أ
قَرَأَ يَقْرَءُونَ كِتَابَهُمْ their records
ان کی کتاب(خوشی سے)
kitabahum
ك ت ب
كَتَبَ كِتَابَهُمْ وَلَا and not
اور نہ
wala

NA وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ they will be wronged
وہ ظلم کیےجائیں گے
yuthlamoona
ظ ل م
ظَلَمَ يُظْلَمُونَ فَتِيلًا (even as much as) a hair on a date seed

فَتِيلًا ٧١

يوْم دَعَا كُلّ أَنِسَ أمّ أتى كَتَبَ يَمَنَ قَرَأَ كَتَبَ ظَلَمَ

On the Day when We will summon all humankind with their leaders. So, whoever is given his book (a record) in his right hand will read their record, and they will not be unjustly treated one bit.

NA فَهُوَ فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں

فِي فِى الاٰخِرَةِ the Hereafter
آخرت کے بھی

أخر Last , Recent , Another , Postpone الاٰخِرَةِ أَعْمَىٰ (will be) blind
(ہوگا) اندھا
aAAma
ع م ي
عَمِيَ أَعْمَىٰ وَأَضَلُّ and more astray
اور بہت زیادہ گمراہ
waadallu
ض ل ل
ضلّ وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا (from the) path
راستے سے
sabeelan
س ب ل
سَبَلَ Way , Road , Access , Way سَبِيلًا ٧٢

كَانَ فِي عَمِيَ فِي أخر عَمِيَ ضلّ سَبَلَ

And (but) whoever has been blind (ignorant) in this (life), then he will be blind in the Hereafter, and he led a misguided path (in this world).

17:73

وَإِن And indeed

NA وَإِن كَادُواْ they were about (to)

كَادَ كَادُواْ لَيَفْتِنُونَكَ tempt you away

فَتَنَ لَيَفْتِنُونَكَ عَنِ from

NA عَنِ الَّذِىٓ that which

NA الَّذِىٓ أَوْحَيْنَآ We revealed
ہم نے وحی کی

وَحَى Inspire , Reveal , Guided أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ to you
تیری طرف
ilayka

NA إِلَيْكَ لِتفْتَرِىَ that you invent

فتر لِتفْتَرِىَ عَلَيْنَا about Us
اوپر ہمارے
AAalayna

NA عَلَيْنَا غَيْرَهُۥ other (than) it
اس (وحی)کےعلاوہ
ghayrahu
غ ي ر
غير غَيْرَهُۥ وَإِذًا And then
اور تب
waithan

NA وَإِذًا لَّاتَّخَذُوكَ surely they would take you

أَخَذَ لَّاتَّخَذُوكَ خَلِيلًا (as) a friend
دوست
khaleelan
خ ل ل
خَلَّ Gap , Friend , Defective خَلِيلًا ٧٣

كَادَ فَتَنَ وَحَى فتر غير أَخَذَ خَلَّ

And they were about to entice you from (other than) what We have inspired you so that you would fabricate (say) about us other than this. Then, they would have surely taken (accepted) you as their friend.

وَلَوْلَآ And if not
اور اگر نہ ہوتا

NA وَلَوْلَآ أَن [that]

NA أَن ثَبَّتْنَاكَ We (had) strengthened you

ان کی طرف

NA إِلَيْهِمْ شَيْئًا (in) something
کچھ

ش ي أ
شِاءَ شَيْئًا قَلِيلًا a little
تھوڑا سا
qaleelan
ق ل ل
قَلَّ قَلِيلًا ٧٤

ثَبُتَ كدّ رَكَنَ شِاءَ قَلَّ

And if it were not that We had kept you steadfast (stand firm), you would have almost inclined towards them a little.

NA لَكَ عَلَيْنَا against Us
خلاف ہمارے

NA عَلَيْنَا نَصِيرًا any helper
کوئی مددگار

نَصَرَ نَصِيرًا ٧٥

ذاق ضَعُفَ حي ضَعَفَ مَاتَ وَجَدَ نَصَرَ

Then We would have made you taste double (punishment) in life and double (punishment) in death; then, you will have never found a helper for you against Us.

فَزَّ Jump up , Start , Excite , Incite لَيَسْتَفِزُّونَكَ مِنَ from

NA مِنَ الْأَرْضِ the land
سرزمین(مکہ)

أَ رَضْ Land, Area, Region , Earth , Country الْأَرْضِ لِيُخْرِجُوكَ that they evict you

خرج لِيُخْرِجُوكَ مِنْهَا from it
اس (مکہ)سے

NA مِنْهَا وَإِذًا But then
لیکن تب

NA وَإِذًا لَّا not

NA لَّا يَلْبَثُونَ they (would) have stayed
وہ(بھی)ٹھہرپاتے
yalbathoona

لبِث يَلْبَثُونَ خِلَافَكَ after you
تیرے بعد

خَلَفَ Succeed , Behind , Rear خِلَافَكَ إِلَّا except
مگر

NA إِلَّا قَلِيلًا a little
تھوڑی ہی دیر
qaleelan
ق ل ل
قَلَّ قَلِيلًا ٧٦

كَادَ فَزَّ أَ رَضْ خرج لبِث خَلَفَ قَلَّ

They almost caused you to leave the land by inciting you. In that case, they would not have lived after you, except for a little while.

سُنَّةَ (Such is Our) Way
طریقہ (یہی چلا آتا ہے)

NA مِن رُّسُلِنَا Our Messengers
ہمارےرسولوں میں

رَسِلَ رُّسُلِنَا وَلَا And not
اور نہیں
wala

NA وَلَا تَجِدُ you will find
پائےگا تو

وَجَدَ تَجِدُ لِسُنَّتِنَا (in) Our way
ہمارےطریقے کے لیے
lisunnatina
س ن ن
سَنَّ لِسُنَّتِنَا تَحْوِيلًا any alteration
کوئی بھی تبدیلی
tahweelan
ح و ل
حَالَ Turn , Change , Condition تَحْوِيلًا ٧٧

سَنَّ رَسِلَ قَبِلَ رَسِلَ وَجَدَ سَنَّ حَالَ

Standard practice for those we have sent before you as Our messengers, and you will not find a change in Our practice.

شَهِدَ مَشْهُودًا ٧٨

قَامَ صلو دَلْو شَمَسَ غَسَقَ لَيْل قَرَأَ فجر قَرَأَ فجر كَانَ شَهِدَ

Establish prayers from (time of) descending of the sun until the night is spread, and recitation of the Quran at the day's breaking. Indeed, the recitation of the Quran at the breaking of the day is witnessed.

وَمِنَ And from

هَجَدَ Spend the night in prayer فَتَهَجَّدْ بِهِۦ with it
ساتھ اس (قرآن)کے

NA بِهِۦ نَافِلَةً (as) additional
بطور اضافی

نَفَلَ نَافِلَةً لَّكَ for you
تیرے لیے
laka

NA لَّكَ عَسَىٰٓ it may be
قریب ہے

عَسَى عَسَىٰٓ أَن that

NA أَن يَبْعَثَكَ will raise you
مبعوث کرےتجھے

بعث يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ your Lord

رَبَّ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا (to) a station
مقامِ

قَامَ مَقَامًا مَّحْمُودًا praiseworthy

حَمِدَ Praise , Commend , thanks مَّحْمُودًا ٧٩

لَيْل هَجَدَ نَفَلَ عَسَى بعث رَبَّ قَامَ حَمِدَ

And spend (keep vigil in some part of) the night in prayer, as supererogatory prayers for you, in hopes that your Rabb will raise you to a commendable (admirable, praiseworthy, laudable, estimable, meritorious, creditable, exemplary, exceptional, noteworthy, notable, honorable, worthy, deserving, respectable, sterling, fine, excellent; More commendable) place.

17:80

وَقُل And say
اور دعا کر

قَالَ وَقُل رَّبِّ My Lord!
میرے مالک! میرے رب!

نَصَرَ نَّصِيرًا ٨٠

قَالَ رَبَّ دَخَلَ دَخَلَ صَدَقَ خرج خرج صَدَقَ جعل لّدُن سُلَط نَصَرَ

And say, “O my Rabb, enter me in a truthful entrance (correct, righteous) and bring me out into a proper exit (being right honest), and grant me from You a powerful help (to stay on an actual, noble path).

قَالَ جَاءَ حَقَّ زَهَقَ بَطَلَ بَطَلَ كَانَ زَهَقَ

And say, “The truth has come, and falsehood has gone away. The falsehood (Lie), indeed, is dying.”

وَنُنَزِّلُ And We reveal
اور ہم نازل کرتے ہیں

NA هُوَ شِفَآءٌ (is) a healing

شَفَى Cure , Heal , Health , Hospital شِفَآءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ and a mercy
اور رحمت
warahmatun

رَحِمَ Merciful , Compassionate وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ for the believers
مومنوں کے لیے
lilmumineena
أ م ن
أمُن لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَا but not
لیکن نہیں
wala

NA وَلَا يَزِيدُ it increases
یہ بڑھاتا
yazeedu
ز ي د
زَادَ Supply , Provision , Contractor يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ the wrongdoers

ظَلَمَ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا except
مگر

NA إِلَّا خَسَارًا (in) loss
خسارہ ہی ۔ نقصان ہی

خَسِرَ Loose , perish , Damage خَسَارًا ٨٢

نَزَلَ قَرَأَ شَفَى رَحِمَ أمُن زَادَ ظَلَمَ خَسِرَ

We have put in the Koran what are healing and mercy for the believers, but nothing increases for the unjust except loss.

17:83

وَإِذَآ And when

NA وَإِذَآ أَنْعَمْنَا We bestow favor
ہم انعام کرتے ہیں

NA عَلَى الْإِنسَانِ man

أَنِسَ الْإِنسَانِ أَعْرَضَ he turns away
وہ اعراض کرنے لگتا ہے

عَرُضَ أَعْرَضَ وَنَـَٔا and becomes remote
اور پھیر لیتا ہے
wanaa
ن أ ي
وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ on his side
ساتھ میں پہلو اس کے
bijanibihi
ج ن ب
جَنَبَ بِجَانِبِهِۦ وَإِذَا And when
اور جب
waitha

NA وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ touches him
اسے چھوتی ہے

مسّ مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ the evil
کوئی تکلیف و شر

شَرَّ Evil , Ill , Harm , Wicked الشَّرُّ كَانَ he is
ہوجاتا ہے

كَانَ كَانَ يَئُوسًا (in) despair
مایوس
yaoosan
ي أ س
ا سو يَئُوسًا ٨٣

نَعَمَ أَنِسَ عَرُضَ جَنَبَ مسّ شَرَّ كَانَ ا سو

When We grant livelihood to humankind, he turns away and stays away from its side (to recognize that Allah gives all). And (but) when harm touches him, he becomes despaired (hopeless).

17:84

قُلْ Say

ہر کوئی

كُلّ كُلٌّ يَعْمَلُ works

NA عَلَىٰ شَاكِلَتِهِۦ his manner

شَاكِلَتِهِۦ فَرَبُّكُمْ but your Lord
لیکن تمہارا رب
farabbukum
ر ب ب
رَبَّ فَرَبُّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ (is) most knowing
خوب جانتا ہے
aAAlamu
ع ل م
علِم أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ of who
ساتھ اس کےکون ہے
biman

NA بِمَنْ هُوَ [he]
وہ(جو ہے)
huwa

NA هُوَ أَهْدَىٰ (is) best guided
سیدھےہدایت کے
ahda
ه د ي
هَدَى أَهْدَىٰ سَبِيلًا (in) way
راستے پر
sabeelan
س ب ل
سَبَلَ Way , Road , Access , Way سَبِيلًا ٨٤

قَالَ كُلّ عَمِلَ رَبَّ علِم هَدَى سَبَلَ

Say, “Everyone conducts according to its resemblance (pattern). Your Rabb (Only) knows who is better guided on a path.”

17:85

وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ And they ask you

أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, أُوتِيتُم مِّنْ of
(اللہ کی طرف)سے

NA مِّنْ الْعِلْمِ the knowledge

علِم الْعِلْمِ إِلَّا except
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّا قَلِيلًا a little
بہت ہی تھوڑا
qaleelan
ق ل ل
قَلَّ قَلِيلًا ٨٥

سأل رَاحَ قَالَ رَاحَ أمر رَبَّ أتى علِم قَلَّ

And they ask you about the souls. Say, “The souls are a matter of a decision of my Rabb, and you were not given much knowledge except a little.”

17:86

وَلَئِن And if
اور البتہ اگر

NA وَلَئِن شِئْنَا We willed
ہم چاہیں

شَأَن Matter , Affairs , Business شِئْنَا لَنَذْهَبَنَّ We (would) have surely taken away

ذهب Go Away , Depart , Gold , لَنَذْهَبَنَّ بِالَّذِىٓ that which
کہ اس (قرآن) کو جو

NA بِالَّذِىٓ أَوْحَيْنَآ We have revealed

وَحَى Inspire , Reveal , Guided أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ to you
تیری طرف

NA إِلَيْكَ ثُمَّ Then
پھر

NA ثُمَّ لَا not
نہیں

NA لَا تَجِدُ you would find
پائےگا تو
tajidu
و ج د
وَجَدَ تَجِدُ لَكَ for you
تیرے لیے
laka

NA لَكَ بِهِۦ concerning it

bihi

NA بِهِۦ عَلَيْنَا against Us
خلاف ہمارے
AAalayna

NA عَلَيْنَا وَكِيلًا any advocate

wakeelan

وَكَلَ وَكِيلًا ٨٦

شَأَن ذهب وَحَى وَجَدَ وَكَلَ

If We desired, We would have taken away what We have revealed to you. Then you will not find a trustee for you against Us.

NA عَلَيْكَ كَبِيرًا great

كَبَرَ كَبِيرًا ٨٧

رَحِمَ رَبَّ فَضَلَ كَانَ كَبَرَ

Only through mercy from your Rabb. Indeed, His grace has been great upon you.

أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, يَأْتُواْ بِمِثْلِ the like

مَثَلَ بِمِثْلِ هَٰذَا (of) this

NA هَٰذَا الْقُرْاٰنِ Quran
قرآن کے

(کبھی)نہیں

NA لَا يَأْتُونَ they (could) bring
وہ لا سکیں گے

أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, يَأْتُونَ بِمِثْلِهِۦ the like of it
ساتھ میں مانند اس کی

مَثَلَ بِمِثْلِهِۦ وَلَوْ even if
اورباوجود اس کے

NA وَلَوْ كَانَ were
ہوجائیں

كَانَ كَانَ بَعْضُهُمْ some of them
بعض ان کے
baAAduhum
ب ع ض
بَعَضَ Some , Each Other, Mosquito بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ to some others
بعض کےلیے
libaAAdin
ب ع ض
بَعَضَ Some , Each Other, Mosquito لِبَعْضٍ ظَهِيرًا assistants
معاون و مدد گار
thaheeran
ظ ه ر
ظهر ظَهِيرًا ٨٨

قَالَ جَمَعَ أَنِسَ جنّ أتى مَثَلَ قَرَأَ أتى مَثَلَ كَانَ بَعَضَ بَعَضَ ظهر

Say, “If you get humankind and the jinn together on that (task) to bring an example of this Quran, they will never be able to deliver an example like it, even if they were helpers to each other.

17:89

وَلَقَدْ And verily
اور البتہ حقیقت میں
Walaqad

NA وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا We have explained
ہم نے وضاحت کردی ہے

بنی نوع انسان کے لیے

أَنِسَ لِلنَّاسِ فِى in

NA هَٰذَا الْقُرْاٰنِ Quran
قرآن کے

قَرَأَ الْقُرْاٰنِ مِن from

NA مِن كُلِّ every

كُلّ كُلِّ مَثَلٍ example

مَثَلَ مَثَلٍ فَأَبَىٰٓ but refused

أَبَى Refuse, Reject, Decline , فَأَبَىٰٓ أَكْثَرُ most
بہت سارے

كَثَرَ Many , Numerous , More , Multiply أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ (of) the mankind
انسانوں نے
alnnasi
ن و س
أَنِسَ النَّاسِ إِلَّا except
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّا كُفُورًا disbelief
کفر ۔ ناشکری
kufooran
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ كُفُورًا ٨٩

صَرَفَ أَنِسَ فِي قَرَأَ كُلّ مَثَلَ أَبَى كَثَرَ أَنِسَ كَفَرَ

And indeed, We have dedicated every kind of example for the man in this Quran; then (but) many of humankind rejected it and were only ungrateful.

وَقَالُواْ And they say
اور انہوں نے کہا

قَالَ وَقَالُواْ لَن Never
ہرگز نہیں

NA لَن نُّؤْمِنَ we will believe
ہم ایمان لائیں گے

أمُن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكَ in you

NA لَكَ حَتَّىٰ until
یہاں تک کہ
hatta

NA حَتَّىٰ تَفْجُرَ you cause to gush forth
تو جاری کر دے

ف ج ر
فجر تَفْجُرَ لَنَا for us
ہمارے لیے
lana

NA لَنَا مِنَ from
میں سے
mina

NA مِنَ الْأَرْضِ the earth
زمین
alardi
أ ر ض
أَ رَضْ Land, Area, Region , Earth , Country الْأَرْضِ يَنبُوعًا a spring
ایک چشمہ
yanbooAAan
ن ب ع
نَبَعَ يَنبُوعًا ٩٠

قَالَ أمُن فجر أَ رَضْ نَبَعَ

And they said, “We would never believe in you until you bring out water gushing forth in the earth for us.”

کھجوروں

نَخَلَ نَّخِيلٍ وَعِنَبٍ and grapes
اور انگوروں
waAAinabin
ع ن ب
عنب Grapes. Bunch of grapes وَعِنَبٍ فَتُفَجِّرَ and cause to gush forth
اور جاری کردے تو
fatufajjira
ف ج ر
فجر فَتُفَجِّرَ الْأَنْهَارَ the rivers
نہریں
alanhara
ن ه ر
نهر الْأَنْهَارَ خِلَالَهَا within them
اس کے درمیان
khilalaha
خ ل ل
خَلَّ Gap , Friend , Defective خِلَالَهَا تَفْجِيرًا abundantly

tafjeeran
ف ج ر
فجر تَفْجِيرًا ٩١

كَانَ جنّ نَخَلَ عنب فجر نهر خَلَّ فجر

Or you have a garden of date palms and grapes, and you let rivers flow in the voids of empty spaces there gushing forth.

تو دعوی کرتا ہے

زَعَمَ زَعَمْتَ عَلَيْنَا upon us
اوپر ہمارے

NA عَلَيْنَا كِسَفًا (in) pieces
ٹکڑے ٹکڑے ۔ حصوں میں

كَسَفَ كِسَفًا أَوْ or
یا
aw

NA أَوْ تَأْتِيَ you bring
تو لے آ
tatiya
أ ت ي
أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, تَأْتِيَ بِٱللّٰهِ Allah
اللہ کوساتھ میں
biAllahi
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity بِٱللّٰهِ وَالْمَلَآئِكَةِ and the Angels
اور فرشتوں کو(بھی)
waalmalaikati
م ل ك
ملك وَالْمَلَآئِكَةِ قَبِيلًا before (us)
سامنے
qabeelan
ق ب ل
قَبِلَ قَبِيلًا ٩٢

سَقَطَ سَمِي زَعَمَ كَسَفَ أتى إِلَٰه ملك قَبِلَ

Or you drop a piece of the sky on us like you are claiming or bring Allah and the angels up in front.

NA أَوْ يَكُونَ is

بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى السَّمَآءِ the sky
آسمان

س م و
سَمَا Sky , Heaven , High , Exalted السَّمَآءِ وَلَن And never
اور ہرگز نہیں
walan

NA وَلَن نُّؤْمِنَ we will believe
ہم ایمان لائیں گے

أمُن نُّؤْمِنَ لِرُقِيِّكَ in your ascension
تیرے چڑھنے کے لئے

رَقَيَ Climb , Ascend , Rise لِرُقِيِّكَ حَتَّىٰ until
یہاں تک کہ
hatta

NA حَتَّىٰ تُنَزِّلَ you bring down
تو اتار لائے
tunazzila
ن ز ل
نَزَلَ تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا to us
اوپر ہمارے
AAalayna

NA عَلَيْنَا كِتَابًا a book
ایک کتاب
kitaban
ك ت ب
كَتَبَ كِتَابًا نَّقْرَؤُهُۥ we could read it
ہم جسے پڑھیں

قَرَأَ نَّقْرَؤُهُۥ قُلْ Say
کہہ دے

ق و ل
قَالَ قُلْ سُبْحَانَ Glorified (is)
بالکل پاک ہے

سبح سُبْحَانَ رَبِّى my Lord!
میرارب

ر ب ب
رَبَّ رَبِّى هَلْ What?
نہیں؟

NA هَلْ كُنتُ am I
ہوں میں
kuntu

كَانَ كُنتُ إِلَّا but
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّا بَشَرًا a human
ایک بشر
basharan
ب ش ر
بشر بَشَرًا رَّسُولًا a Messenger
ایک رسول
rasoolan
ر س ل
رَسِلَ رَّسُولًا ٩٣

كَانَ بَا تَ زَخْرَفَ رَقَيَ فِي سَمَا أمُن رَقَيَ نَزَلَ كَتَبَ قَرَأَ قَالَ سبح رَبَّ كَانَ بشر رَسِلَ

Or you possess a decorated house. Or you climb into the sky. And even then, we will never believe in your ascension until you bring down on us a book that we can read.” Say, “Praise is to my Rabb. What am I, only a human being, a messenger?”

17:94

وَمَا And what

حقیقی ہدایت

هَدَى الْهُدَىٰٓ إِلَّآ except
مگر

NA إِلَّآ أَن that
یہ کہ
an

NA أَن قَالُوٓاْ they said
وہ کہنے لگے

ق و ل
قَالَ قَالُوٓاْ أَبَعَثَ Has sent?
کیابھیجاہے؟

بعث أَبَعَثَ اللهُ Allah
اللہ نے

إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهُ بَشَرًا a human
بشر کو

بشر بَشَرًا رَّسُولًا Messenger
پیغمبربنا کر
rasoolan
ر س ل
رَسِلَ رَّسُولًا ٩٤

مَنَعَ أَنِسَ أمُن جَاءَ هَدَى قَالَ بعث إِلَٰه بشر رَسِلَ

And nothing prevented humankind from believing when the guidance came to them, except that they said, “Did Allah raise a man as a messenger?”

17:95

أَ رَضْ Land, Area, Region , Earth , Country الْأَرْضِ مَلَآئِكَةٌ Angels
فرشتے

ملك مَلَآئِكَةٌ يَمْشُونَ walking
وہ چلتے پھرتے
yamshoona
م ش ي
مَشَى يَمْشُونَ مُطْمَئِنِّينَ securely
آرام واطمینان سے
mutmainneena
ط م ا ن
طَأْمَنَ مُطْمَئِنِّينَ لَنَزَّلْنَا surely We (would) have sent down
یقیناًہم بھیجتے
lanazzalna
ن ز ل
نَزَلَ لَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْهِم to them
اوپر ان کے
AAalayhim

NA عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ from
سے
mina

NA مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ the heaven
آسمان

سَمَا Sky , Heaven , High , Exalted السَّمَآءِ مَلَكًا an Angel
کوئی فرشتہ

م ل ك
ملك مَلَكًا رَّسُولًا (as) a Messenger

رَسِلَ رَّسُولًا ٩٥

قَالَ كَانَ فِي أَ رَضْ ملك مَشَى طَأْمَنَ نَزَلَ سَمَا ملك رَسِلَ

Say, “If angels were walking in the earth satisfactorily, then We would have sent down to them from the sky an angel (as a) messenger.”

17:96

قَالَ قُلْ كَفَىٰ Sufficient is
کافی ہے

إِلَٰه God, Deity بِٱللّٰهِ شَهِيدًا (as) a witness

شَهِدَ شَهِيدًا بَيْنِى between me
میرے درمیان

ب ي ن
بَا نَ Evident , Between بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ and between you
اور تمہارے درمیان
wabaynakum
ب ي ن
بَا نَ Evident , Between وَبَيْنَكُمْ إِنَّهُۥ Indeed He
بیشک وہ
innahu

NA إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ is
ہے
kana
ك و ن
كَانَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ of His slaves
بارے میں اس کے بندوں
biAAibadihi
ع ب د
عَبَدَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرًا All-Aware
خوب خبردار
khabeeran
خ ب ر
خَبَرَ Know , News , Knowledge خَبِيرًا بَصِيرًا All-Seer
گہرائی سےدیکھنےوالا
baseeran
ب ص ر
بصُر See , Eyes, Eyesight, Understand بَصِيرًا ٩٦

قَالَ كفى إِلَٰه شَهِدَ بَا نَ بَا نَ كَانَ عَبَدَ خَبَرَ بصُر

Say, “Allah is A Sufficient witness between you and me; He is Fully Informed and Knows All about His slaves.”

17:97

وَمَن And whoever

NA وَمَن يَهْدِ guides
ہدایت دے

هَدَى يَهْدِ اللهُ Allah

إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهُ فَهُوَ then he (is)
تو وہ ہی
fahuwa

NA فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِ the guided one
ہدایت والا ہے
almuhtadi
ه د ي
هَدَى الْمُهْتَدِ وَمَن and whoever
اورجسے
waman

NA وَمَن يُضْلِلْ He lets go astray
وہ گمراہ ہونے دے
yudlil
ض ل ل
ضلّ يُضْلِلْ فَلَن then never
پس ہرگز نہیں
falan

NA فَلَن تَجِدَ you will find
پائےگا تو
tajida
و ج د
وَجَدَ تَجِدَ لَهُمْ for them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءَ protectors
اولیاء ۔ دوست ۔محافظ
awliyaa
و ل ي
وَلِيَ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن from
سے
min

NA مِن دُونِهِۦ besides Him
علاوہ اس(اللہ)کے
doonihi
د و ن
دُون Without , Below , Administrative دُونِهِۦ وَنَحْشُرُهُمْ And We will gather them

wanahshuruhum
ح ش ر
حَشَرَ gather , Assemble وَنَحْشُرُهُمْ يَوْمَ (on) the Day
دن
yawma
ي و م
يوْم يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ (of) the Resurrection
قیامت کے
alqiyamati
ق و م
قَامَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَىٰ on
اوپر
AAala

NA عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ their faces

wujoohihim
و ج ه
وَجَهَ وُجُوهِهِمْ عُمْيًا blind
اندھے
AAumyan
ع م ي
عَمِيَ عُمْيًا وَبُكْمًا and dumb
اور گونگے
wabukman
ب ك م
بَكِمَ Silent , Dumb وَبُكْمًا وَصُمًّا and deaf
اور بہرے
wasumman
ص م م
صَمَّ Deaf , Close , Resolve وَصُمًّا مَّأْوَاهُمْ Their abode
ان کا ٹھکانہ
mawahum
أ و ي
أوى Refuge , Shelter, Abode مَّأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ (is) Hell
ہے جہنم
jahannamu

NA جَهَنَّمُ كُلَّمَا every time
جب کبھی بھی
kullama
ك ل ل
كُلّ كُلَّمَا خَبَتْ it subsides

khabat
خ ب و
خَبَأَ خَبَتْ زِدْنَاهُمْ We (will) increase (for) them

zidnahum
ز ي د
زَادَ Supply , Provision , Contractor زِدْنَاهُمْ سَعِيرًا the blazing fire
بھڑکتی آگ کو
saAAeeran
س ع ر
سَعَرَ Kindle , Flare up , Start , Become Mad سَعِيرًا ٩٧

هَدَى إِلَٰه هَدَى ضلّ وَجَدَ وَلِيَ دُون حَشَرَ يوْم قَامَ وَجَهَ عَمِيَ بَكِمَ صَمَّ أوى كُلّ خَبَأَ زَادَ سَعَرَ

And whoever Allah guides is the guided one. And whoever He leaves misguided, you will not find any supporter for him other than Him. And We will gather them on the Day of Standing, on their faces, blind, deaf, and dumb. Their final resting place is Hell; every time it extinguishes, We Will restart it to flare up.

17:98

ذَٰلِكَ That
یہ
Thalika

NA ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآؤُهُم (is) their recompense
ان کی سزا ہے
jazaohum
ج ز ي
جَزَى جَزَآؤُهُم بِأَنَّهُمْ because they
اس وجہ سے کہ بیشک وہ
biannahum

NA بِأَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُواْ disbelieved

kafaroo

كَفَرَ كَفَرُواْ بِاٰيَاتِنَا in Our Verses
ساتھ ہماری آیات کے
biayatina
أ ي ي
آ ىي -آية بِاٰيَاتِنَا وَقَالُواْ and said
اور انہوں نے کہا
waqaloo
ق و ل
قَالَ وَقَالُواْ أَئِذَا When?
کیا جب؟
aitha

NA أَئِذَا كُنَّا we are
ہو جائیں گے ہم
kunna
ك و ن
كَانَ كُنَّا عِظَامًا bones
ہڈیاں
AAithaman
ع ظ م
عَظُمَ عِظَامًا وَّرُفَاتًا and crumbled particles
اور ریزہ ریزہ
warufatan
ر ف ت
وَّرُفَاتًا أَءِنَّا will we?
کیابیشک ہم؟
ainna

NA أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ surely (be) resurrected

lamabAAoothoona
ب ع ث
بعث لَمَبْعُوثُونَ خَلْقًا (as) a creation
(جیسے)کوئی مخلوق
khalqan
خ ل ق
خَلَقَ خَلْقًا جَدِيدًا new
نئی ۔ جدید
jadeedan
ج د د
جدّ جَدِيدًا ٩٨

جَزَى كَفَرَ آ ىي -آية قَالَ كَانَ عَظُمَ بعث خَلَقَ جدّ

That is their reward because they have denied Our signs and say, “Are we going to be raised as a new creation when we become bones and corpses?”

أَوَلَمْ Do not?

NA أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ they see

NA أَنَّ اللهَ Allah

إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهَ الَّذِى the One Who

NA الَّذِى خَلَقَ created
پیداکیا

خَلَقَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ the heavens
آسمانوں
alssamawati
س م و
سما السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ and the earth
اور زمین کو
waalarda
أ ر ض
أَ رَضْ Land, Area, Region , Earth , Country وَالْأَرْضَ قَادِرٌ (is) Able
قادر ہے
qadirun
ق د ر
قدر قَادِرٌ عَلَىٰٓ [on]
اس پر
AAala

NA عَلَىٰٓ أَن to
کہ
an

NA أَن يَخْلُقَ create
پیدا کردے
yakhluqa
خ ل ق
خَلَقَ يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمْ the like of them
مثل ان کی(دوبارہ)
mithlahum
م ث ل
مَثَلَ مِثْلَهُمْ وَجَعَلَ And He has made

wajaAAala
ج ع ل
جعل Make , Create, Bring, Give, Grant, وَجَعَلَ لَهُمْ for them
لیے ان کے
lahum

NA لَهُمْ أَجَلًا a term
ایک اجل
ajalan
أ ج ل
أجل أَجَلًا لَّا no
نہیں
la

NA لَّا رَيْبَ doubt
کوئی شک
rayba
ر ي ب
رَابَ Doubt , Question , Skeptical رَيْبَ فِيهِ in it
اس میں
feehi

فِي فِيهِ فَأَبَى But refused
لیکن انکار کر دیا
faaba
أ ب ي
أَبَى Refuse, Reject, Decline , فَأَبَى الظَّالِمُونَ the wrongdoers

ظَلَمَ الظَّالِمُونَ إِلَّا except
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّا كُفُورًا disbelief
کفر و ناشکری سے
kufooran

كَفَرَ كُفُورًا ٩٩

رَأَى إِلَٰه خَلَقَ سما أَ رَضْ قدر خَلَقَ مَثَلَ جعل أجل رَابَ فِي أَبَى ظَلَمَ كَفَرَ

Do they not see that Allah Created the universe and the earth and Has the power to create more like them? He made them last only up to a fixed term where there is no doubt. But the unjust refused, only being ungrateful.

خزانوں کا

خَزَنَ Treasure , Store , Safe خَزَآئِنَ رَحْمَةِ (of) the Mercy
رحمت کے
rahmati
ر ح م
رَحِمَ Merciful , Compassionate رَحْمَةِ رَبِّىٓ (of) my Lord
میرےرب کی
rabbee
ر ب ب
رَبَّ رَبِّىٓ إِذًا then
تب بھی
ithan

NA إِذًا لَّأَمْسَكْتُمْ surely you would withhold
یقیناتم روک لیتے
laamsaktum
م س ك
مسك لَّأَمْسَكْتُمْ خَشْيَةَ (out of) fear
خوف سے
khashyata
خ ش ي
خَشَيَ Fear , Afraid خَشْيَةَ الْإِنفَاقِ (of) spending
خرچ ہو جانے کے
alinfaqi
ن ف ق
نفق الْإِنفَاقِ وَكَانَ And is
اور ہے
wakana
ك و ن
كَانَ وَكَانَ الْإنسَانُ man
انسان
alinsanu
أ ن س
أَنِسَ الْإنسَانُ قَتُورًا stingy

qatooran
ق ت ر
قَتَرَ Poor , Parsimonious قَتُورًا ١٠٠

قَالَ ملك خَزَنَ رَحِمَ رَبَّ مسك خَشَيَ نفق كَانَ أَنِسَ قَتَرَ

Say, “If you have owned the treasures of the Mercy of my Rabb, then you would have held them back fearing the exhausting of the provisions.” Humankind has been parsimonious.

17:101

وَلَقَدْ And certainly
اور البتہ حقیقت میں
Walaqad

NA وَلَقَدْ اٰتَيْنَا We had given
دیئے تھے ہم نے

أ ت ي
أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, اٰتَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ Musa
موسٰیؑ کو
moosa

NA مُوسَىٰ تِسْعَ nine
نو
tisAAa
ت س ع
تِسْعِ ,Ninety, Nine, Nineteen تِسْعَ اٰيَاتٍ Signs
معجزے
ayatin
أ ي ي
آ ىي -آية اٰيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ clear
واضح
bayyinatin
ب ي ن
بَا نَ Evident , Between بَيِّنَاتٍ فَاسْـَٔلْ so ask
پس پوچھ لے تو
faisal
س أ ل
سأل Ask, Demand , Request , Begging فَاسْـَٔلْ بَنِىٓ (the) Children of
اولادِ
banee
ب ن ي
اِبْن Son , Descendant , Man , Human Being , بَنِىٓ إِسْرَائِيلَ Israel
اسرائیل سے
israeela

NA إِسْرَائِيلَ إِذْ when
جب
ith

NA إِذْ جَآءَهُمْ he came to them
آیاوہ ان کے پاس
jaahum
ج ي أ
جَاءَ Come , Reach , Arrive جَآءَهُمْ فَقَالَ then said
پھر کہا
faqala
ق و ل
قَالَ فَقَالَ لَهُۥ to him
لیے اس کے
lahu

NA لَهُۥ فِرْعَونُ Firaun
فرعون نے
firAAawnu

NA فِرْعَونُ إِنِّى Indeed I
بیشک میں
innee

NA إِنِّى لَأَظُنُّكَ [I] think you

laathunnuka
ظ ن ن
ظَنَّ لَأَظُنُّكَ يَامُوسَىٰٓ O Musa!
!اے موسٰیؑ
yamoosa

NA يَامُوسَىٰٓ مَسْحُورًا (you are) bewitched
سحروجادو زدہ
mashooran
س ح ر
سَحَرَ Magic , Charm , Daybreak مَسْحُورًا ١٠١

أتى تِسْعِ آ ىي -آية بَا نَ سأل اِبْن جَاءَ قَالَ ظَنَّ سَحَرَ

And indeed, We gave Musa nine signs with clear (evident) proofs, so ask the Children of Israel. When he (Musa) came to them, Firon said, “I consider, O Musa, you are possessed.”

قَالَ He said
اس(موسٰیؑ )نے کہا

قَالَ قَالَ لَقَدْ Verily

NA لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ you have known
توجانتا ہے

علِم عَلِمْتَ مَآ none

NA مَآ أَنزَلَ has sent down
نازل کیا ہے

نَزَلَ أَنزَلَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ these
اسے

NA هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِلَّا except
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّا رَبُّ (the) Lord
رب نے
rabbu

رَبَّ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ (of) the heavens
آسمانوں
alssamawati
س م و
سما السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ and the earth
اور زمین کے
waalardi
أ ر ض
أَ رَضْ Land, Area, Region , Earth , Country وَالْأَرْضِ بَصَآئِرَ (as) evidence

بصُر See , Eyes, Eyesight, Understand بَصَآئِرَ وَإِنِّى and indeed I
اور یہ کہ میں
wainnee

NA وَإِنِّى لَأَظُنُّكَ [I] surely think you

ظَنَّ لَأَظُنُّكَ يَافِرْعَونُ O Firaun!
اے فرعون!
yafirAAawnu

NA يَافِرْعَونُ مَثْبُورًا (you are) destroyed

ثَبَرَ Destroy , Perish مَثْبُورًا ١٠٢

قَالَ علِم نَزَلَ رَبَّ سما أَ رَضْ بصُر ظَنَّ ثَبَرَ

He (Musa) said, “You know none (of these) are sent down except from the Rabb of the universe and the earth, as insight (to be reasonable); and indeed, I consider that, O Firon, (you) are (inevitably) doomed.”

فَأَرَادَ So he intended
تو(فرعون)نے ارادہ کیا

ان کو باہر نکال دے

فَزَّ Jump up , Start , Excite , Incite يَسْتَفِزَّهُم مِّنَ from

NA مِّنَ الْأَرْضِ the land
زمین
alardi
أ ر ض
أَ رَضْ Land, Area, Region , Earth , Country الْأَرْضِ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُ but We drowned him

faaghraqnahu
غ ر ق
غرِق فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُ وَمَن and who
اورجو
waman

NA وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ (were) with him
(تھے)اس کےساتھ
maAAahu

NA مَّعَهُۥ جَمِيعًا all
سبھی کو
jameeAAan
ج م ع
جَمَعَ Gather , Collect جَمِيعًا ١٠٣

رَادَ فَزَّ أَ رَضْ غرِق جَمَعَ

Then he (Firon) planned to frighten them (away) from the land, so, (but) We drowned him and whoever was with him, all together.

وَقُلْنَا And We said
اور کہہ دیا ہم نے

بعُد بَعْدِهِۦ لِبَنِىٓ to the Children of
لیے اولادِ

NA إِسْرَائِيلَ اسْكُنُواْ Dwell

سَكَنَ اسْكُنُواْ الْأَرْضَ (in) the land
زمین میں

أ ر ض
أَ رَضْ Land, Area, Region , Earth , Country الْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا then when
پھر جب
faitha

NA فَإِذَا جَآءَ comes
آئے گا
jaa
ج ي أ
جَاءَ Come , Reach , Arrive جَآءَ وَعْدُ (the) promise
وعدہ
waAAdu
و ع د
وَعَدَ وَعْدُ الاٰخِرَةِ (of) the Hereafter
آخرت کا۔ اخروی
alakhirati
أ خ ر
أخر Last , Recent , Another , Postpone الاٰخِرَةِ جِئْنَا We will bring
ہم لے آئیں گے
jina
ج ي أ
جَاءَ Come , Reach , Arrive جِئْنَا بِكُمْ you
ساتھ میں تمہیں
bikum

NA بِكُمْ لَفِيفًا (as) a mixed crowd
باہم اکٹھا
lafeefan
ل ف ف
لَفَّ لَفِيفًا ١٠٤

قَالَ بعُد اِبْن سَكَنَ أَ رَضْ جَاءَ وَعَدَ أخر جَاءَ لَفَّ

After him, We said to the Children of Israel, “Establish in the land, and when Our promise of the Hereafter comes to you, you will come to Us assembled all together.”

17:105

وَبِالْحَقِّ And with the truth
اور ساتھ حق سچ کے
Wabialhaqqi
ح ق ق
حَقَّ True , Real , Right , Correct وَبِالْحَقِّ أَنزَلْنَاهُ We sent it down
ہم نے اسے نازل کیا
anzalnahu
ن ز ل
نَزَلَ أَنزَلْنَاهُ وَبِالْحَقِّ and with the truth
اور ساتھ حق سچ کے
wabialhaqqi
ح ق ق
حَقَّ True , Real , Right , Correct وَبِالْحَقِّ نَزَلَ it descended
وہ نازل ہوا
nazala
ن ز ل
نَزَلَ نَزَلَ وَمَآ And not
اور نہیں
wama

NA وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَاكَ We sent you
ہم نےبھیجا تجھے
arsalnaka
ر س ل
رَسِلَ أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا except
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّا مُبَشِّرًا (as) a bearer of glad tidings
بشارت دینے والا
mubashshiran
ب ش ر
بشِر مُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا and a warner

wanatheeran
ن ذ ر
نَذَرَ وَنَذِيرًا ١٠٥

حَقَّ نَزَلَ حَقَّ نَزَلَ رَسِلَ بشِر نَذَرَ

And with the actual confirmation, We sent down this (Quran), and with the truth, it was sent down. And We did not send you except, as a bearer of good news and to be a warner.

17:106

وَقُرْآناً And the Quran
اور قرآن(کہ)
Waquranan
ق ر أ
قَرَأَ وَقُرْآناً فَرَقْنَاهُ We have divided

faraqnahu
ف ر ق
فرق فَرَقْنَاهُ لِتَقْرَأَهُۥ that you might recite it
تاکہ تو اسے پڑھے
litaqraahu
ق ر أ
قَرَأَ لِتَقْرَأَهُۥ عَلَى to
اوپر
AAala

NA عَلَى النَّاسِ the people
لوگوں کے
alnnasi
ن و س
أَنِسَ النَّاسِ عَلَىٰ at
اوپر
AAala

NA عَلَىٰ مُكْثٍ intervals
وقفے ۔ ٹھہر ٹھہر کر
mukthin
م ك ث
مَكَثَ Remain , Dwell , Stay مُكْثٍ وَنَزَّلْنَاهُ And We have revealed it

wanazzalnahu
ن ز ل
نَزَلَ وَنَزَّلْنَاهُ تَنزِيلًا (in) stages

tanzeelan
ن ز ل
نَزَلَ تَنزِيلًا ١٠٦

قَرَأَ فرق قَرَأَ أَنِسَ مَكَثَ نَزَلَ نَزَلَ

And A Quran which We have divided (into Surahs and chapters) for its recitation on humankind, staying, (remaining), and We revealed this scripture in sessions.

17:107

قُلْ Say
کہہ دے
Qul
ق و ل
قَالَ قُلْ اٰمِنُواْ Believe
ایمان لاؤ تم
aminoo
أ م ن
أَ مُنَ اٰمِنُواْ بِهِۦٓ in it
ساتھ اس (قرآن )کے
bihi

NA بِهِۦٓ أَوْ or
یا
aw

NA أَوْ لَا (do) not
نہ
la

NA لَا تُؤْمِنُوٓاْ believe
ایمان لاؤ تم
tuminoo
أ م ن
أمُن تُؤْمِنُوٓاْ إِنَّ Indeed
بیشک
inna

NA إِنَّ الَّذِينَ those who
وہ لوگ جو
allatheena

NA الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ were given
دیئےگئے وہ
ootoo
أ ت ي
أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, أُوتُواْ الْعِلْمَ the knowledge
علم
alAAilma
ع ل م
علِم الْعِلْمَ مِن from
سے
min

NA مِن قَبْلِهِۦٓ before it
اس کےپہلے
qablihi
ق ب ل
قَبِلَ قَبْلِهِۦٓ إِذَا when
جب
itha

NA إِذَا يُتْلَىٰ it is recited
یہ پڑھ سنایا جاتا ہے
yutla
ت ل و
تلو Reading , Recitation , Follow يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ to them
اوپر ان کے
AAalayhim

NA عَلَيْهِمْ يَخِرُّونَ they fall
وہ گرپڑتے ہیں
yakhirroona
خ ر ر
خَرَّ يَخِرُّونَ لِلْأَذْقَانِ on their faces

lilathqani
ذ ق ن
لِلْأَذْقَانِ سُجَّدًا (in) prostration
سجدے میں
sujjadan
س ج د
سَجَدَ Bow down , Prostrate , Worship سُجَّدًا ١٠٧

قَالَ أَ مُنَ أمُن أتى علِم قَبِلَ تلو خَرَّ سَجَدَ

Say, “Believe in this (Quran) or do not believe (or not put a thought in it),” Those who were given the knowledge before this, when it is recited to them, fall to the ground at their chins (faces) in prostration.

17:108

وَيَقُولُونَ And they say
اور وہ کہتے ہیں
Wayaqooloona
ق و ل
قَالَ وَيَقُولُونَ سُبْحَٰنَ Glory be to
پاک ہے
subhana
س ب ح
سبح سُبْحَٰنَ رَبِّنَآ our Lord!
ہمارا رب !
rabbina
ر ب ب
رَبَّ رَبِّنَآ إِن Indeed
بیشک
in

NA إِن كَانَ is
ہے
kana
ك و ن
كَانَ كَانَ وَعْدُ (the) promise
وعدہ
waAAdu
و ع د
وَعَدَ وَعْدُ رَبِّنَا (of) our Lord
ہمارے رب کا
rabbina
ر ب ب
رَبَّ رَبِّنَا لَمَفْعُولًا surely fulfilled
البتہ پورا کردیا ہوا
lamafAAoolan
ف ع ل
فَعَلَ لَمَفْعُولًا ١٠٨

قَالَ سبح رَبَّ كَانَ وَعَدَ رَبَّ فَعَلَ

And they say, “Praise is to our Rabb. The promise of our Rabb will be done (completed).”

17:109

وَيَخِرُّونَ And they fall

Wayakhirroona
خ ر ر
خَرَّ وَيَخِرُّونَ لِلْأَذْقَانِ on their faces

lilathqani
ذ ق ن
لِلْأَذْقَانِ يَبْكُونَ weeping
روتے ہوئے وہ
yabkoona
ب ك ي
بَكَى Cry , Weep يَبْكُونَ وَيَزِيدُهُمْ and it increases them

wayazeeduhum
ز ي د
زَادَ Supply , Provision , Contractor وَيَزِيدُهُمْ خُشُوعًا (in) humility
عاجزی و انکساری
khushooAAan
خ ش ع
خَشَعَ Submissive , Humility خُشُوعًا ١٠٩

خَرَّ بَكَى زَادَ خَشَعَ

And they drop on their chins (faces) tearfully, and (it) increases their humility (submissiveness). ۩ (Prostration).

17:110

قُلِ Say
کہہ دے
Quli
ق و ل
قَالَ قُلِ ادْعُواْ Invoke
پکاروتم

دَعَا call , Prayer , Spread ادْعُواْ اللهَ Allah
اللہ(کہہ کر)
Allaha
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity اللهَ أَوِ or
یا
awi

NA أَوِ ادْعُواْ invoke
پکاروتم
odAAoo
د ع و
دَعَا call , Prayer , Spread ادْعُواْ الرَّحْمَٰنَ the Most Gracious
رحمن
alrrahmana
ر ح م
رَحِمَ Merciful , Compassionate الرَّحْمَٰنَ أَيًّا By (name)
اسی کے(نام)ہیں
ayyan

NA أَيًّا مَّا whatever
جس(نام)سے بھی
ma

NA مَّا تَدْعُواْ you invoke
تم پکارتے ہو
tadAAoo
د ع و
دَعَا call , Prayer , Spread تَدْعُواْ فَلَهُ to Him (belongs)
پس اس کے لیے (ہیں)
falahu

NA فَلَهُ الْأَسْمَآءُ the Names
سب نام
alasmao
س م و
سَمِي الْأَسْمَآءُ الْحُسْنَىٰ Most Beautiful
سب سے خوبصورت۔ بہترین
alhusna
ح س ن
حَسَنَ Good , Beautiful , Nice الْحُسْنَىٰ وَلَا And (do) not
اور نہ
wala

NA وَلَا تَجْهَرْ you be loud
تو اونچی کر آواز
tajhar
ج ه ر
جهر تَجْهَرْ بِصَلَاتِكَ in your prayers
ساتھ نماز کےتیری
bisalatika
ص ل و
صلو بِصَلَاتِكَ وَلَا and not
اور نہ
wala

NA وَلَا تُخَافِتْ you be silent
تو دھیمی رکھ
tukhafit
خ ف ت
خَفَيَ Hidden , Secret , Missing تُخَافِتْ بِهَا therein
ساتھ اس کے
biha

NA بِهَا وَابْتَغِ but seek
لیکن ڈھونڈتو
waibtaghi
ب غ ي
بغى وَابْتَغِ بَيْنَ between
درمیان
bayna
ب ي ن
بَا نَ Evident , Between بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ that
اس کے
thalika

NA ذَٰلِكَ سَبِيلًا a way
کوئی راستہ وراہ
sabeelan
س ب ل
سَبَلَ Way , Road , Access , Way سَبِيلًا ١١٠

قَالَ دَعَا إِلَٰه دَعَا رَحِمَ دَعَا سَمِي حَسَنَ جهر صلو خَفَيَ بغى بَا نَ سَبَلَ

Say, “Call Allah, or you call Him the Most Merciful. Whatever you call, for Him are the Good Names,” And do not be loud with your prayers, nor become inaudible with this, but seek a way in between.

17:111

وَقُلِ And say
اور کہہ دے

ق و ل
قَالَ وَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ All Praise
سب طرح کی تعریفیں
alhamdu
ح م د
حَمِدَ Praise , Commend , thanks الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ (is) for Allah
لیے اللہ کے
lillahi
أ ل ه
إِلَٰه God, Deity لِلّٰهِ الَّذِى the One Who
جس نے
allathee

NA الَّذِى لَمْ has not
نہیں
lam

NA لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ taken
بنایا۔اپنایا
yattakhith
أ خ ذ
أَخَذَ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا a son
کوئی بیٹا
waladan
و ل د
وَلَدَ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ and not
اور نہیں
walam

NA وَلَمْ يَكُن is
ہے
yakun
ك و ن
كَانَ يَكُن لَّهُۥ for Him
لیے اس کے
lahu

NA لَّهُۥ شَرِيكٌ a partner
کوئی شریک
shareekun
ش ر ك
شَرِكَ شَرِيكٌ فِى in
بیچ ۔ میں
fee

فِي فِى الْمُلْكِ the dominion
بادشاہی
almulki
م ل ك
ملك الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ and not
اور نہیں
walam

NA وَلَمْ يَكُن is
ہے
yakun
ك و ن
كَانَ يَكُن لَّهُۥ for Him
لیے اس کے
lahu

NA لَّهُۥ وَلِيٌّ any protector
ولی ۔ کارساز
waliyyun
و ل ي
وَلِيَ وَلِيٌّ مِّنَ out of
بسبب
mina

NA مِّنَ الذُّلِّ weakness
کمزوری
alththulli
ذ ل ل
ذَلَّ Lowly , Submissive , Humble الذُّلِّ وَكَبِّرْهُ And magnify Him

wakabbirhu
ك ب ر
كَبَرَ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًا (with all) magnificence
بہت زیادہ بڑائی
takbeeran
ك ب ر
كَبَرَ تَكْبِيرًا ١١١

قَالَ حَمِدَ إِلَٰه أَخَذَ وَلَدَ كَانَ شَرِكَ فِي ملك كَانَ وَلِيَ ذَلَّ كَبَرَ كَبَرَ

And say, “All the Praise belongs to Allah. He does not take a son, nor a partner for Him in the Kingdom, nor a supporter for Him out of weakness. He is the Highest and most Magnificent.
