About the news of the Great (Event).

الَّذِى (About) which
(بارے میں)جس کہ
Allathee

NA هُمْ فِيهِ (are) concerning it
اس میں

فِي فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ (in) disagreement
اختلاف کرتے ہیں

خَلَفَ Succeed , Behind , Rear مُخْتَلِفُونَ ٣

فِي خَلَفَ

In that, they are disputing among themselves.

كَلَّا Nay!
ہرگز نہیں !
Kalla

NA كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ (soon) they will know
عنقریب وہ جان لیں گے

Indeed, soon they will know.

NA ثُمَّ كَلَّا Nay!

NA كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ (soon) they will know
عنقریب وہ جان لیں گے

Certainly, they will soon know.

أَلَمْ Have not?

أَ رَضْ Land, Area, Region , Earth , Country الْأَرْضَ مِهَادًا a resting place
ایک گود ۔ ایک بچھونا

مَهْد مِهَادًا ٦

جعل أَ رَضْ مَهْد

Have We not made the earth ready as a resting place?

وَالْجِبَالَ And the mountains
اور پہاڑوں کو
Waaljibala

جبل وَالْجِبَالَ أَوْتَادًا (as) pegs
(جیسےاس کی)میخیں

وَتَدَ أَوْتَادًا ٧

جبل وَتَدَ

And the mountains firmly established?

وَخَلَقْنَاكُمْ And We created you
ہم نے پیدا کیا تمہیں

خَلَقَ وَخَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا (in) pairs
جوڑا جوڑا

ز و ج
زَاجَ Pair , Couple أَزْوَاجًا ٨

خَلَقَ زَاجَ

And We created you in pairs?

وَجَعَلْنَا And We made
اوربنادیا ہم نے

جعل Make , Create, Bring, Give, Grant, وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ your sleep
نیند کو تمہاری

نَامَ نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتًا (for) rest
راحت و آرام کا ذریعہ

سَبَتَ Rest , Saturday سُبَاتًا ٩

جعل نَامَ سَبَتَ

And We made your sleep to get rest?

وَجَعَلْنَا And We made

جعل لَيْل لَبِسَ

And We made the night a cover?

وَجَعَلْنَا And We made

جعل نهر عَاشَ

And We made the day as means of sustenance?

وَبَنَيْنَا And We constructed
اوربنادیئےہم نے

بَا نَ Evident , Between وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ over you
اوپرتمہارے

فَاقَ فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعًا seven
سات(آسمان)

سَبْع Predatory , Seven سَبْعًا شِدَادًا strong
مضبوط

شَدَّ Very , Very often , firm , strong شِدَادًا ١٢

بَا نَ فَاقَ سَبْع شَدَّ

And We made (cover) over you seven strong?

وَجَعَلْنَا And We placed
اوربنایا ہم نے

سَرْج Lamp , Light سِرَاجًا وَهَّاجًا burning

وَهَجَ وَهَّاجًا ١٣

جعل سَرْج وَهَجَ

And We made the (sun) lamp with brilliant radiance?

وَأَنزَلْنَا And We sent down

خوب برسنے والی

ثَجَّ Flow Copiously , Streaming ثَجَّاجًا ١٤

نَزَلَ عصر مَا ءَ ثَجَّ

And We sent down water from the hurricanes (cyclones and tornadoes) streaming, flowing copiously?

لِّنُخْرِجَ That We may bring forth
تا کہ ہم نکالیں

خرج لِّنُخْرِجَ بِهِۦ thereby
ساتھ اس کے

خرج حَبَ نَبَتَ

To produce grains (seed, kernel, granules) and vegetation (plants, produce, herbs, grass, and seedlings).

وَجَنَّاتٍ And gardens
اور(اگائیں)باغات
Wajannatin

جنّ وَجَنَّاتٍ أَلْفَافًا (of) thick foliage
گھنے

أَلْف Thousand أَلْفَافًا ١٦

جنّ أَلْف

And gardens densely grown in layers (upon layers) of dense forests?

إِنَّ Indeed

ایک وقتِ مقرر

يوْم فَصَلَ كَانَ وقت

The Day of the (Final) Decision has been fixed for an appointed meeting time.

يَوْمَ (The) Day

يوْم يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ (in which) shall be blown

فِي فِى الصُّورِ the trumpet

صور الصُّورِ فَتَأْتُونَ and you will come forth
پس چلے آؤ گے تم

أتى Bring, Come, Produce, Achieve, فَتَأْتُونَ أَفْوَاجًا (in) crowds
فوج درفوج

فوْج أَفْوَاجًا ١٨

يوْم نَفَخَ فِي صور أتى فوْج

On the Day when the Trumpet is blown, you will come in groups.

وَفُتِحَتِ And is opened
اورکھول دیا جائے گا

فتح وَفُتِحَتِ السَّمَآءُ the heaven
آسمان

سَمِي السَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتْ and becomes
پس وہ ہو جائے گا

كَانَ فَكَانَتْ أَبْوَابًا gateways
دروازے دروازے
abwaban
ب و ب
بَا ب Door , Gate , Class أَبْوَابًا ١٩

فتح سَمِي كَانَ بَا ب

And the sky will be opened; then it will become doors.

وَسُيِّرَتِ And are moved
اورچلایا جائے گا
Wasuyyirati
س ي ر
سَارَ وَسُيِّرَتِ الْجِبَالُ the mountains
پہاڑوں کو
aljibalu

جبل الْجِبَالُ فَكَانَتْ and become
پس وہ ہو جائیں گے
fakanat
ك و ن
كَانَ فَكَانَتْ سَرَابًا a mirage
سراب
saraban
س ر ب
سَرِبَ Flow , Flock , Swarm , Mirage سَرَابًا ٢٠

سَارَ جبل كَانَ سَرِبَ

And the mountains will be running and will become a mirage.

إِنَّ Indeed

NA إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ Hell
جہنم
jahannama

NA جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتْ is
ہے
kanat

كَانَ كَانَتْ مِرْصَادًا lying in wait
گھات میں لگی
mirsadan
ر ص د
رَصَدَ مِرْصَادًا ٢١

كَانَ رَصَدَ

Indeed, Hell will be in waiting, lying in wait (ambush).

لِّلْطَّاغِينَ For the transgressors
سرکشوں کے لیے
Lilttagheena

طَغَا لِّلْطَّاغِينَ مَآبًا a place of return
ٹھکانہ ہے (وہی)

أ و ب
أ و ب Return, Coming Back مَآبًا ٢٢

طَغَا أ و ب

The returning place for those who exceed boundaries.

لَابِثِينَ (They will) be remaining
پڑے رہنے والے ہیں

Staying there for long periods of time.

وہ مزہ چکھیں گے

اور نہ ہی

NA وَلَا شَرَابًا any drink
کسی مشروب کا

شَرِبَ Drink , Soup شَرَابًا ٢٤

ذاق بَرَدَ شَرِبَ

They will not experience any coolness or have any drinks.

إِلَّا Except

NA إِلَّا حَمِيمًا scalding water
کھولتاہوا پانی

حَمَّ Hot , Close Friend , Bath حَمِيمًا وَغَسَّاقًا and purulence
بہتی ہوئی پیپ

غَسَقَ Dusk , Dark of night وَغَسَّاقًا ٢٥

حَمَّ غَسَقَ

Except for heat and darkness.

جَزَآءً A recompense
جزاو بدلہ ہے

جَزَى جَزَآءً وِفَاقًا appropriate

جَزَى وَفِقَ

An appropriate reward.

إِنَّهُمْ Indeed they

NA لَا يَرْجُونَ expecting
وہ امید رکھتے

رَجَعَ Come Back , Return , Resume يَرْجُونَ حِسَابًا an account

حَسَبَ Calculate , Count , Opinion حِسَابًا ٢٧

كَانَ رَجَعَ حَسَبَ

Indeed, they were not expecting an account.

78:28

وَكَذَّبُوا And they denied

كَذَبَ وَكَذَّبُوا بِاٰيَاتِنَا Our Signs
ساتھ ہماری آیات کے

آ ىي -آية بِاٰيَاتِنَا كِذَّابًا (with) denial

كَذَبَ كِذَّابًا ٢٨

كَذَبَ آ ىي -آية كَذَبَ

And they denied Our verses-signs lying.

وَكُلَّ And every

كُلّ وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ thing
چیز کہ

شِاءَ شَىْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ We have enumerated it

حصُنَ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ كِتَابًا (in) a Book
لکھ کر۔کتاب میں

كَتَبَ كِتَابًا ٢٩

كُلّ شِاءَ حصُنَ كَتَبَ

And (but) We have accounted for everything in the register (written).

فَذُوقُوا So taste
پس مزے چکھو تم
Fathooqoo

ذاق Taste, Test, Try, Experience, فَذُوقُوا فَلَن and never
چنانچہ ہرگز نہیں

NA فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمْ We will increase you
ہم بڑھائیں گے تمہیں
nazeedakum
ز ي د
زَيدَ Grow , Increase , Multiply نَّزِيدَكُمْ إِلَّا except
مگر
illa

NA إِلَّا عَذَابًا (in) punishment
عذاب میں(ہی)
AAathaban
ع ذ ب
عَذُبَ عَذَابًا ٣٠

ذاق زَيدَ عَذُبَ

So, taste! We will only increase punishment for you.

NA إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ for the righteous

کامیابی ہے

وقى فَازَ

Indeed, God-fearing will be successful.

Hadaiqa

حَدَقَ Garden , Surround حَدَآئِقَ وَأَعْنَابًا and grapevines
اور انگورہیں

عنب Grapes. Bunch of grapes وَأَعْنَابًا ٣٢

Gardens and grapevines.

وَكَوَاعِبَ And splendid companions
اوردوشیزائیں ہیں

كَعَبَ وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتْرَابًا well-matched
ہم عمر (بیویاں)

ت ر ب
تَرِبَ أَتْرَابًا ٣٣

كَعَبَ تَرِبَ

And splendid women of the same age.

وَكَأْسًا And a cup

كَأْس وَكَأْسًا دِهَاقًا full
لبریز ۔چھلکتے ہوئے

دَهَقَ Full , Abundant , Leader. Grandee دِهَاقًا ٣٤

كَأْس دَهَقَ

And nice pitchers (drinks) in abundance.

NA لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ they will hear
وہ سنیں گے

NA فِيهَا لَغْوًا any vain talk
کوئی بیہودہ گفتگو

لغا لَغْوًا وَلَا and not
اور نہ ہی
wala

NA وَلَا كِذَّابًا any falsehood
کوئی جھوٹ
kiththaban
ك ذ ب
كَذَبَ كِذَّابًا ٣٥

سَمَعَ لغا كَذَبَ

They will never hear therein foolish talks or falsehood.

جَزَآءً (As) a reward
انعام وعطیہ ہے

رَبَّ رَّبِّكَ عَطَآءً a gift
ایک عطا ہے

عَطَا عَطَآءً حِسَابًا (according to) account
کافی ہو جانے والی

حَسَبَ Calculate , Count , Opinion حِسَابًا ٣٦

جَزَى رَبَّ عَطَا حَسَبَ

A reward from your Rabb, a gifted account.

رَّبِّ Lord
(وہ)رب ہے

رَبَّ رَّبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ (of) the heavens

سما السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ and the earth

أَ رَضْ Land, Area, Region , Earth , Country وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا and whatever

NA وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا (is) between both of them
ان دونوں کے درمیان ہے

بَا نَ Evident , Between بَيْنَهُمَا الرَّحْمَٰنِ the Most Gracious
بڑا ہی مہربان ہے

ر ح م
رَحِمَ Merciful , Compassionate الرَّحْمَٰنِ لَا not

NA لَا يَمْلِكُونَ they have power
وہ تاب رکھتے
yamlikoona

ملك يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْهُ from Him
اس (اللہ)سے
minhu

NA مِنْهُ خِطَابًا (to) address
بات کرنے کا
khitaban
خ ط ب
خَطَبَ Speech , Matter , Concern خِطَابًا ٣٧

رَبَّ سما أَ رَضْ بَا نَ رَحِمَ ملك خَطَبَ

Rabb of the universe and the earth and whatever is between them, The Most Merciful, they will not be capable of addressing Him.

صَفَّ صَفًّا لَّا not

NA لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ they will speak
وہ(بھی)کلام کر سکیں گے

مگر

NA إِلَّا مَنْ (one) who
وہی جوکہ
man

NA مَنْ أَذِنَ permits
اجازت دے

أَذن أَذِنَ لَهُ [for] him
لیے اس کے

NA لَهُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ the Most Gracious
رحمن
alrrahmanu

رَحِمَ Merciful , Compassionate الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَقَالَ and he (will) say
اور کہے
waqala
ق و ل
قَالَ وَقَالَ صَوَابًا (what is) correct
وہ صاف درست بات
sawaban
ص و ب
صاب صَوَابًا ٣٨

يوْم قَامَ رَاحَ ملك صَفَّ كلِمُ أَذن رَحِمَ قَالَ صاب

On the Day when the souls and angels stand in rows. They will not speak except those permitted by the Most Merciful, and he will say what is right.

أَخَذَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ towards

NA إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ his Lord

رَبَّ رَبِّهِۦ مَآبًا a return

أ و ب Return, Coming Back مَآبًا ٣٩

يوْم حَقَّ شِاءَ أَخَذَ رَبَّ أ و ب

That is the Day of Truth. "So, whoever wishes may now turn towards their Rabb."

إِنَّآ Indeed We
بیشک ہم
Inna

NA إِنَّآ أَنذَرْنَاكُمْ [We] have warned you

نَذَرَ أَنذَرْنَاكُمْ عَذَابًا (of) a punishment
عذاب سے
AAathaban
ع ذ ب
عَذُبَ عَذَابًا قَرِيبًا near
قریب کے
qareeban

قرُب قَرِيبًا يَوْمَ (the) Day
اس دن
yawma
ي و م
يوْم يَوْمَ يَنظُرُ will see
دیکھ لے گا
yanthuru
ن ظ ر
نَظَرَ يَنظُرُ الْمَرْءُ the man
انسان
almaro
م ر أ
مرأ الْمَرْءُ مَا what
جو کچھ
ma

NA مَا قَدَّمَتْ have sent forth
آگے بھیجا ہے
qaddamat
ق د م
قَدَمَ قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ his hands
اس کےدونوں ہاتھوں نے
yadahu
ي د ي
يدي يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ and will say
اور کہے گا
wayaqoolu
ق و ل
قَالَ وَيَقُولُ الْكَافِرُ the disbeliever
کافر وناشکرا
alkafiru
ك ف ر
كَفَرَ الْكَافِرُ يَالَيْتَنِى O I wish!
اے کاش!میں
yalaytanee

NA يَالَيْتَنِى كُنتُ I were
ہوتامیں
kuntu
ك و ن
كَانَ كُنتُ تُرَابًا dust!
مٹی
turaban
ت ر ب
تَرِبَ تُرَابًا ٤٠

نَذَرَ عَذُبَ قرُب يوْم نَظَرَ مرأ قَدَمَ يدي قَالَ كَفَرَ كَانَ تَرِبَ

We have warned you of a punishment getting close, the Day when the man will see what he has forwarded by his hands, and the ungrateful will say, “O, I wish I were dust.”
