آسمانوں اور زمین کا رب اور ہر اُس چیز کا رب جو آسمان و زمین کے درمیان ہے اگر تم لوگ واقعی یقین رکھنے والے ہو

There is no god except Him. He gives life and death, your Rabb and Rabb of your earlier forefathers.
کوئی معبود اُس کے سوا نہیں ہے وہی زندگی عطا کرتا ہے اور وہی موت دیتا ہے تمہارا رب اور تمہارے اُن اسلاف کا رب جو پہلے گزر چکے ہیں
44:9

Yet they are in doubt and distracted by amusements.
(مگر فی الواقع اِن لوگوں کو یقین نہیں ہے) بلکہ یہ اپنے شک میں پڑے کھیل رہے ہیں

رَقَبَ يوْم أتى سَمِي دَخَنَ بَا نَ
So, await the Day that the sky will come with evident (visible) smoke.
اچھا انتظار کرو اُس دن کا جب آسمان صریح دھواں لیے ہوئے آئے گا
44:11

غَشَا أَنِسَ عَذُبَ أَ لِمَ
People will faint, this is a painful punishment
اور وہ لوگوں پر چھا جائے گا، یہ ہے درد ناک سزا
44:12
رَّبَّنَا Our Lord! (کفاربھی کہہ اٹھیں گے)اے ہمارےرب ! "Our Rabb, remove the punishment from us. "We are believers."
(اب کہتے ہیں کہ) " پروردگار، ہم پر سے یہ عذاب ٹال دے، ہم ایمان لاتے ہیں"
44:13

Do they not have the remembrance (the Quran) with them despite having already received a clear Messenger?
اِن کی غفلت کہاں دور ہوتی ہے؟ اِن کا حال تو یہ ہے کہ اِن کے پاس رسول مبین آ گیا
44:14

Then they turned away from him and said, " a possessed teacher."
پھر بھی یہ اُس کی طرف ملتفت نہ ہوئے اور کہا کہ "یہ تو سکھایا پڑھایا باولا ہے"

كَشَفَ عَذُبَ قَلَّ عاد
Indeed, (if) We will remove the punishment a little, then you will repeat.
ہم ذرا عذاب ہٹائے دیتے ہیں، تم لوگ پھر وہی کچھ کرو گے جو پہلے کر رہے تھے

The Day when We will strike, (it will be with) The Great Violent Force, We will be vengeful.
جس روز ہم بڑی ضرب لگائیں گے وہ دن ہوگا جب ہم تم سے انتقام لیں گے

And We already (tested with) temptation (and tried) those before them, the nation of Firon; and a noble Messenger came to them.
ہم اِن سے پہلے فرعون کی قوم کو اِسی آزمائش میں ڈال چکے ہیں اُن کے پاس ایک نہایت شریف رسول آیا
44:18

Saying, “Render (bring) me the servants of Allah. I am a trusting Messenger for you.”
اور اس نے کہا "اللہ کے بندوں کو میرے حوالے کرو، میں تمہارے لیے ایک امانت دار رسول ہوں
44:19

عَلَا إِله أتى سُلَط بَا نَ
And “Do not exceed (become arrogant) against Allah. I have brought you clear authority (proof).
اللہ کے مقابلے میں سرکشی نہ کرو میں تمہارے سامنے (اپنی ماموریت کی) صریح سند پیش کرتا ہوں
44:20

عاذ رَبَّ رَبَّ رَجَمَ
I seek protection with my Rabb and your Rabb; lest (that) you stone me to death.
اور میں اپنے رب اور تمہارے رب کی پناہ لے چکا ہوں اِس سے کہ تم مجھ پر حملہ آور ہو
44:21
وَإِن And if اور اگر Wain NA وَإِن لَّمْ not نہیں lam NA لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا you believe تم ایمان لاتے tuminoo أ م ن أمُن Safe , Believe , Faith, Security , Peace https://rootwordsofquran.com//Images/Book%20.JPG%20(35).jpg تُؤْمِنُوا لِى me میرے لیے lee NA لِى فَاعْتَزِلُونِ then leave me alone پس الگ ہو رہو تم مجھ سے faiAAtazilooni ع ز ل عَزَلَ Remove , Isolate , Separate , Withdraw https://rootwordsofquran.com//Images/Book%20.JPG%20(440).jpg فَاعْتَزِلُونِ ٢١
أمُن عَزَلَ
And if you do not believe in me, then keep away (withdraw, separate) from me.”
اگر تم میری بات نہیں مانتے تو مجھ پر ہاتھ ڈالنے سے باز رہو"
44:22

دَعَا رَبَّ قَامَ جرم
Then he called to his Rabb: “These are a nation of criminals.”
آخرکار اُس نے اپنے رب کو پکارا کہ یہ لوگ مجرم ہیں
44:23

سَرَى عَبَدَ لَيْل تبِع
Then (Allah Said), “Travel by night with my worshippers, you will be followed.
(جواب دیا گیا) اچھا تو راتوں رات میرے بندوں کو لے کر چل پڑ تم لوگوں کا پیچھا کیا جائے گا
44:24

ترك بَحَرَ رَهَا جُنْد غرِق
And you cross the ocean quietly; they are an army to be drowned.”
سمندر کو اُس کے حال پر کھلا چھوڑ دے یہ سارا لشکر غرق ہونے والا ہے
44:25

ترك جنّ عين
How many gardens (farms, agricultural land) and springs did they leave behind?

And plantations and noble places.
اور کھیت اور شاندار محل تھے جو وہ چھوڑ گئے
44:27
وَنَعْمَةٍ And pleasant things اور راحت و آرام کی نعمتیں بھی WanaAAmatin ن ع م نَعَمَ Live comfort , Luxury , Delight , Enjoy , Experience , Grazing livestock , Benefit , Blessing , Grace of God , Softer , Finer , Donor https://rootwordsofquran.com//Images/Book%20.JPG%20(685)-.jpg وَنَعْمَةٍ كَانُوا they used to تھے وہ kanoo ك و ن كَانَ exist , occur , have , own , World , Universe , Cosmic , Place , Site , Location , Creation , Origination , Shapely , Genesis https://rootwordsofquran.com//Images/Book%20.JPG%20(595).jpg كَانُوا فِيهَا therein اس میں feeha NA فِيهَا فَاكِهِينَ take delight عیاشی کرتے ومزے اڑاتے fakiheena ف ك ه فَكِهَ Fruit, Humor , Amuse , Joke , Have fun https://rootwordsofquran.com//Images/Book%20.JPG%20(519).jpg فَاكِهِينَ ٢٧
نَعَمَ كَانَ فَكِهَ
And the provisions of livelihood that they were amusing there.
کتنے ہی عیش کے سر و سامان، جن میں وہ مزے کر رہے تھے اُن کے پیچھے دھرے رہ گئے
44:28
كَذَٰلِكَ Thus اس طرح سے(طےتھا) Kathalika NA كَذَٰلِكَ وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا And We made it (an) inherit(ance) اور ہم نے وارث بنادیا اس waawrathnaha و ر ث وَرَثَ Heir , Inherit , Heritage , Legacy , Tradition https://rootwordsofquran.com//Images/Book%20.JPG%20(751).jpg وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا قَوْمًا (for) a people قوم qawman ق و م قَامَ Get up , Stand up , Rise , Ascend , Depart , Leave , Located , Based , Nation , People , Figure , Frame , Support , Supply , Day of resurrection , Rising , Straight , Correct , Straight line https://rootwordsofquran.com//Images/Book%20.JPG%20(562)-.jpg قَوْمًا اٰخَرِينَ another دوسری کو akhareena أ خ ر أخر Last , Recent , Another , Postpone https://rootwordsofquran.com//Images/Book%20.JPG%20(16)-.jpg اٰخَرِينَ ٢٨
وَرَثَ قَامَ أخر
That is how We made other nations inherit these.
یہ ہوا اُن کا انجام، اور ہم نے دوسروں کو اِن چیزوں کا وارث بنا دیا
44:29

بَكَى سَمِي أَ رَضْ كَانَ نَظَرَ
Then, neither the sky nor the earth cried for them, and they were not delayed (given respite).
پھر نہ آسمان اُن پر رویا نہ زمین، اور ذرا سی مہلت بھی ان کو نہ دی گئی
44:30

نَجَا اِبْن عَذُبَ هَانَ
And indeed, We saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment.
اِس طرح بنی اسرائیل کو ہم نے سخت ذلت کے عذاب
44:31
مِن From (یعنی)سے Min NA مِن فِرْعَوْنَ Firaun فرعون firAAawna NA فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُۥ Indeed he بیشک وہ innahu NA إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ was تھا kana ك و ن كَانَ exist , occur , have , own , World , Universe , Cosmic , Place , Site , Location , Creation , Origination , Shapely , Genesis https://rootwordsofquran.com//Images/Book%20.JPG%20(595).jpg كَانَ عَالِيًا arrogant ایک سرکش AAaliyan ع ل و عَلَا ,Upon, High , Rise , Ascend , Height , Altitude , Elevation , Basis , According to https://rootwordsofquran.com//Images/Book%20.JPG%20(461)-.jpg عَالِيًا مِّنَ among میں سے mina NA مِّنَ الْمُسْرِفِينَ the transgressors حد سے گزرنے والوں almusrifeena س ر ف سَرَف waste , Extravagant , Squander https://rootwordsofquran.com//Images/Book%20.JPG%20(321).jpg الْمُسْرِفِينَ ٣١
كَانَ عَلَا سَرَف
From Firon. He was among those who exceeded in arrogance (thought of being higher ranked).
فرعون سے نجات دی جو حد سے گزر جانے والوں میں فی الواقع بڑے اونچے درجے کا آدمی تھا
44:32

خَيرَ علِم علِم
We selected them (Children of Israel to spread) knowledge (Guidance from Allah given in Torah through Musa) worldwide.
اور اُن کی حالت جانتے ہوئے، اُن کو دنیا کی دوسری قوموں پر ترجیح دی
44:33

أتى آ ىي -آية فِي بلو بَا نَ
And We gave them many signs, in which there were clear trials.

On the Day when no friend will be helpful in friendship on anything, they will not be assisted.
وہ دن جب کوئی عزیز قریب اپنے کسی عزیز قریب کے کچھ بھی کام نہ آئے گا، اور نہ کہیں سے انہیں کوئی مدد پہنچے گی

حَمَى
Like a heated (drink) to quench a burning thirst.

This (Hell) is what you doubted (suspected).

وہاں موت کا مزہ وہ کبھی نہ چکھیں گے، بس دنیا میں جو موت آ چکی سو آ چکی اور اللہ اپنے فضل سے،
44:57
